Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, Chairman and Managing Director of NLC India Limited, has been conferred the “Pride of Telangana” Award at the 4th Telangana Public Relations Conference and National Public Relations Day celebrations organised by Public Relations Society of India, Hyderabad Chapter, on April 19, 2026, in Hyderabad. The award was presented by K. Sreenivas Reddy and Ch. Priyanka, Special Commissioner, Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Telangana, along with K. Nageswar, in the presence of dignitaries. A native of Bhadrachalam, Shri Motupalli dedicated the honour to the employees of the company.

The recognition highlights his leadership and contributions to the energy sector, including advancements in lignite mining, thermal power generation, renewable energy, sustainability, innovation and corporate governance. Under his leadership, NLC India Limited supplies around 400 MW of power to the Telugu States and has made significant progress in diversification, capacity expansion, digital transformation, and employee and community welfare, strengthening its position as a leading Navratna public sector enterprise.
