]]> Master Awaiz Alam, a participant from the States allotted to NHPC for conducting State/UT level painting competitions was awarded ‘Appreciation Prize’ under Group ‘A’ category of National Painting Competition on Energy Conservation 2023. The award recognizes his talent and awareness displayed during the National Level Painting Competition 2023 on Energy Conservation. Master Awaiz Alam is a student from Standard VI of My World Higher Secondary School, Jahangirabad (Madhya Pradesh).

Master Awaiz Alam received the award at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 14.12.2023 during National Energy Conservation Day. President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Master Awaiz Alam received the award from R.K. Singh, Union Minister of Power, New & Renewable Energy.Krishan Pal, Hon’ble Minister of State for Power, Govt. of India and Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary (Power), Govt. of India were also present on the occasion.

NHPC had recently conducted State/ UT level painting competitions in Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh whereas in Madhya Pradesh the painting competition was conducted through NHDC Limited .
