In the Workmen category Ayeskanta Sahu, Engineering Associate (Flux & Refractory) bagged the first prize, while the 2nd and 3rd spots went to Mr. Arupananda Pradhan, Engineering Associate, (New Plate Mill) and Mr. Asif Husain Sidik, Junior Engineering Associate (Coke Ovens).

In the Executive category, the first place was won by Mr. Anup Agarwal, Senior Manager (Services). Ms. Sangeeta M Sindur, AGM (HR) got the 2nd position while Ms. Neha Dash, Consultant (Medical) bagged the third place.

The 8th edition of this award, launched in January 2023 under My RSP-My Identity unique initiative, saw enthusiastic participation from employees, showcasing their strong bond with RSP. 2762 employees of RSP made entries in RSP Portal Employee Zone (both Web and Mobile App). Out of these 262 employees comprising 147 executives and 115 workmen shared their feelings about RSP every day from 17th July to 31st July, 2026. As part of the initiative, employees were required to write at least one complete sentence of positive thoughts about RSP every day during the given time period.

These entries were evaluated online by a committee of Senior Officers without the knowledge of the credentials of the employees and submitted their marks on a daily basis. Based on their evaluations, the top three employees from both executive and non-executive categories were bestowed with the RSP Gaurab award.

The competition aimed to foster a sense of pride among employees and encourage a habit of positive thinking and speaking well about the plant.

Amongst the Non-executives the 1^st three places were bagged by Mr. Purusottam Meher, Engineering Associate (Coke Ovens), Mr. Kedar Nath Hui,    Junior Engineer (Silicon Steel Mill) and Mr. Bhagirathi Jena, Junior Engineer (Coal Chemicals).

In the Executive category, Ms. Khushboo Mishra, Senior Manager (R & C Laboratory) secured the first position, followed by Ms. Kavita Bisoyi, Senior Manager (Contract Cell) in the second position, and Ms. Prangya P. Nath, Assistant Manager (Safety Engineering) in the third position.

It is worth mentioning here that My RSP-My Identity, an unique initiative that  encourages employees to share their positive thoughts, emotions and experience of being part of the organisation. As per this initiative, employees are required to write at least one complete sentence of positive thoughts about RSP everyday over a span of 15 days.

In the 7^th edition of the competition that was launched on 1^st January and continued till 15^th January 2026, 2972 employees of made entries in RSP PORTAL- EMPLOYEE ZONE link OR MOBILE APP KARMI-MITRA.

A Committee of senior officers evaluated the responses online and submitted their marks on daily basis.

The objective of the initiative is to strengthen the connect of the employees with the organization and making them the brand ambassadors of the company.
