पैंगबर मोहम्मद साहेब के जन्मदिन यानि ईद ए मिलादुन्नबी ऐसे मौके पर आयी है जब दुनिया भर में एक नई बहस छिडी हुयी है कि क्या इस्लाम को बदलने की जरुरत है. ये बहस फ्रांस में ईसाई टीचर और उसके बाद तीन लोगों की हत्या के बाद और तेज हो गयी है तो इस्लामिक विश्व के कटटरपंथी नेता जोर दे रहे कि इस्लाम में कोई बदलाव की जरुरत नहीं बल्कि उसको बचाने के लिए सब एकजुट हों.

ऐसे में ये सवाल भी उठ रहा है कि क्या सचमुच इस्लाम इतना कमजोर है कि किसी एक के कार्टून बनाने या किसी दिखावे पर रोक लगाने से उसका नुकसान हो जायेगा. मेरे हिसाब से तो इस समय कटटपंथी इस्लाम के बजाय मोहम्मद साहेब के बताये असली इस्लाम को वापस लाने की जरुरत है जो उस समय के कटटरपंथ के खिलाफ ही पनपा था .

इस्लामिक कैलेंडर के मुताबिक इस्लाम के तीसरे महीने रबी-अल-अव्वल की 12वीं तारीख, 571ईं. के दिन ही इस्लाम के सबसे महान नबी और आखिरी पैगंबर का जन्म हुआ था. जो अंग्रेजी कैलेंडर के अनुसार इस साल 30 अक्टूबर को है.

पैगंबर हजरत मोहम्मद साहब का पूरा जीवन मानवता की सेवा में गुजरा। जब हजरत साहब का जन्म हुआ, उस समय अरब देश की सामाजिक स्थिति बहुत खराब थी। महिलाओं का कोई सम्मान नहीं था। लोग अपनी पुत्रियों को जिंदा दफन कर देते थे। कबीलों के लोग आपस में लड़ते रहते थे। जिसमें हजारों लोग जान से हाथ धो बैठते। लोग शराब और जुए के आदी हो चुके थे। आपसी भाईचारा और प्यार-मोहब्बत खत्म हो चुकी थी। इन बुराइयों के ख़िलाफ बाद में हज़रत साहब ने पहल की थी।जन्म के पहले ही हज़रत साहब के पिता का निधन हो गया था और छह साल की उम्र में उनकी मां भी नहीं रहीं। उनका लालन-पालन उनके चाचा हजरत अबू तालिब ने किया। उन्होंने अपने से 15 साल बड़ी विधवा महिला हज़रत ख़दीजा से शादी की। उस समय यह बड़ी प्रगतिशीलता की बात थी, क्योंकि तब विधवा महिलाओं की समाज में इज्ज़त नहीं थी। इससे समाज में संदेश गया कि विधवा स्त्री को भी पूरा सम्मान देना चाहिए। हज़रत मोहम्मद ने महिलाओं पर हो रहे जुल्म को रोका और महिलाओं को समाज में इज्ज़त की ज़िंदगी मिली। उन्होंने कहा कि अल्लाह रब्बुल इज़्ज़त ने फ़रमाया है कि और सुस्त ना हो और ग़म ना खाओ तुम ही सरबुलन्द (ग़ालिब)रहोगे अगर तुम मोमिन हो यानि अल्लाह तआला ने मुसलमानों की सरबुलन्दी का वायदा किया। हम मुसलमान तभी अल्लाह की नज़र में मोमिन हैं जब हम अल्लाह के सिवाय किसी दूसरे से ख़ौफ़ न रखते हों और न ही अल्लाह के सिवाय किसी दूसरे से कोई उम्मीद रखते हों।

पैगंबर साहब के इस्लाम की पहली ही शर्त ये थी कि तुम किसी को परेशान न करो और जहां तक हो सके पड़ोसी से लेकर हर जरुरतमंद की मदद करो . उनके इस्लाम में जिहाद का मतलब कुरीतियों से लडना था ना कि हथियार उठाकर किसी भी निर्दोष को मार देना.

वैसा ही है जैसे मुर्दों के बीच जिंदा

मजदूर को उसका मेहनताना
उसके पसीने के सूखने से पहले दे दें

वह आदमी जन्नत में दाखिल नहीं हो सकता
जिसके दिल में घमंड का एक कण भी मौजूद हो

जिसके पास एक दिन और एक रात का भी खाना है
उसके लिए भीख मांगना मना है

सबसे अच्छा मुसलमान घर वह है
जहां यतीम पलता है
सबसे बुरा मुसलमान घर वह है
जहां यतीम के साथ दुर्वव्यवहार किया जाता है

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan questioned France Emanual Macrons mental health, while Muslims in several countries are demanding a boycott of France.

Marking his second sharp criticism against Macron in two days, Erdogan said on Sunday that the French president had “lost his mind”, prompting France’s foreign minister to recall the country’s ambassador in Ankara.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan is also speaking the same language of Turkey, accusing the French President of spreading Islamophobia. He further said that Emmanuel Macron has no understanding of Islam. It also summoned French Ambassador Marc Barety on Monday to lodge a “strong protest” against the publication of caricatures on the Prophet and comments made by French President Emmanuel Macron.

Pakistan reiterated that freedom of expression should not be misused as means to attack or hurt public sentiments or religious beliefs and fan inter-religious hatred, hostility and confrontation. Amid the political barbs, neither Erdogan nor Imran Khan has publicly condemned the killing of the French teacher. The general secretariat of the 57-nation Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was among several bodies and groups that have denounced the killing.

Although most countries in Europe are secular and leaders there are always proud of being secular. European leaders have been afraid of Islamophobia, as they feared if this word is added to their name then their political branding will get damaged.

The French debate on Islam was deepened after the beheading of a teacher who had shown caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad – previously published by a satirical magazine – in a class on freedom of expression. Muslims believe that any depiction of the Prophet is blasphemous.

On Friday, the cartoons were projected onto government buildings in France. Earlier this month, Macron described Islam as a religion “in crisis” worldwide and vowed to present a bill in December to strengthen a law that officially separated church and state in France.

Since Friday, social media has been awash with criticism of Macron in countries from west to east, including the UK, Kuwait, Qatar, Palestine, Egypt, Algeria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

People are pouring out their feelings under the English hashtags #BoycottFrenchProducts and #Islam and #NeverTheProphet in Arabic.

The social media campaign has led to several Arab trade associations to announce their boycotts of French products.

पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि हमारे स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के समय कई-कई पीढ़ियों ने अपना सब कुछ समर्पित कर दिया था। गुलामी के कालखंड में कोई ऐसा समय नहीं था जब आजादी के लिए आंदोलन न चला हो, देश का कोई भूभाग ऐसा नहीं था जहां आजादी के लिए बलिदान न दिया गया हो। उन्होंने कहा, ‘बरसों से टाट और टेंट के नीचे रह रहे हमारे रामलला के लिए अब एक भव्य मंदिर का निर्माण होगा। टूटना और फिर उठ खड़ा होना, सदियों से चल रहे इस व्यतिक्रम से रामजन्मभूमि आज मुक्त हो गई है। पूरा देश रोमांचित है, हर मन दीपमय है। सदियों का इंतजार आज समाप्त हो रहा है।’

प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा, ‘राम मंदिर के लिए चले आंदोलन में अर्पण भी था, तर्पण भी था, संघर्ष भी था, संकल्प भी था। जिनके त्याग, बलिदान और संघर्ष से आज ये स्वप्न साकार हो रहा है,  जिनकी तपस्या राममंदिर में नींव की तरह जुड़ी हुई है, मैं उन सबको आज 130 करोड़ देशवासियों की तरफ से नमन करता हूं। भगवान राम की अद्भुत शक्ति देखिए। इमारतें नष्ट कर दी गईं, अस्तित्व मिटाने का प्रयास भी बहुत हुआ, लेकिन राम आज भी हमारे मन में बसे हैं, हमारी संस्कृति का आधार हैं। श्रीराम भारत की मर्यादा हैं, श्रीराम मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम हैं।’

इसके पहले प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने अयोध्या में बुधवार को राम मंदिर निर्माण के लिए भूमि पूजन किया और मंदिर की आधारशिला रखी। भूमि पूजन समारोह में उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ और आरएसएस प्रमुख मोहन भागवत भी मौजूद थे। पुजारियों ने मंत्रोच्चारण के साथ भूमि पूजन की शुरुआत की और फिर मोदी द्वारा मंदिर निर्माण के लिए आधारशिला रखे जाने के साथ ही भूमि पूजन संपन्न हो गया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान नौ शिलाओं की पूजा की गई और मोदी ने मंदिर की नींव की मिट्टी से अपने माथे पर तिलक लगाया

Last week, Saudi Arabia said it was preventing foreigners from reaching the holy city of Mecca and the Kaaba, the building at the centre of the Great Mosque. It also said travel was suspended to Prophet Muhammad’s mosque in Medina.

This year’s Hajj, which usually brings about three million people to Mecca, is expected to take place from July 28 to August 2. Authorities have not yet announced any restrictive measures; more than 60,000 people have applied to participate in this year’s event already.

The kingdom has two reported cases of coronavirus.

Iran is also struggling to contain the virus, with a rising number of cases and deaths each day. As of Wednesday evening, those totalled 2,922 and 92, respectively.

Friday prayers in all provincial capitals have been halted.

“This disease is a widespread one,” Iranian President Hassan Rouhani told his cabinet, according to a transcript. “It encompasses almost all of our provinces and is, in a sense, a global disease that many countries in the world have become infected with, and we must work together to tackle this problem as quickly as possible.”

“The citizenship law or the NRC have nothing to do with Indian Muslims. They have nothing to worry,” he said, accusing the Congress, its allies and “urban naxals” of spreading the rumour that Muslims will be sent to detention centres.

The citizenship law, he added, has in fact nothing to do Indian citizens.

In a clear justification of having a nationwide National Register of Citizens, he said infiltrators never “reveal” themselves unlike refugees who never “hide” their identities.

Actor and former BJP MP Paresh Rawal has also condemned the protest over the appointment of a Muslim professor in the Sanskrit faculty, saying he is “stunned by the protest” against Firoze Khan.

“Stunned by the protest against professor Feroze Khan. What has language to do with religion? Irony is professor Feroze has done his masters and PhD in Sanskrit (sic),” Paresh Rawal tweeted.in another tweet Paresh Rawal said : By same logic great singer late Shri Mohammad Rafi ji should not have sung any bhajans and Naushad Saab should not have composed it.”

The AIMPLB also said that it was against accepting the five-acre alternative land given for a mosque as it “will neither balance equity nor repair the damage caused” and claimed the verdict had several contradictions.

The Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, whose former Uttar Pradesh General Secretary M Siddiq was one of the original petitioners, said it will file the review petition soon as the verdict is “not based on evidence and logic”.

Jamiat chief Maulana Arshad Madani said in a statement in Delhi that the apex court accepted most of the arguments and evidence of the Muslim parties, but delivered the judgment against them in favour of the Hindu parties.

“It is not a prestige issue. This is a matter of Sharia. We can neither give the mosque, nor take anything in lieu of it,” Madani told reporters in Lucknow.

“The committee was of the view that our review petition will be dismissed, but we have to take this step (of filing the review),” Madani told reporters.

AIMPLB secretary Zafaryab Jilani told reporters after the meeting, “The land of the mosque belongs to Allah and under the Sharia, it cannot be given to anybody.” “The Board has also categorically stated that it was against taking five-acre land in Ayodhya in lieu of the mosque. The board is of the view that there cannot be any alternative to the mosque,” he said.

23 दिसंबर 1949: करीब 50 हिंदुओं ने कथित तौर पर भगवान राम की मूर्ति रख दी.
16 जनवरी 1950: गोपाल सिंह विशारद ने फैजाबाद अदालत में एक अपील दायर कर रामलला की पूजा-अर्चना की विशेष इजाजत मांगी.
5 दिसंबर 1950: महंत परमहंस रामचंद्र दास ने हिंदू प्रार्थनाएं जारी रखने और बाबरी मस्जिद में राममूर्ति को रखने के लिए मुकदमा  निर्मोही अखाड़ा ने विवादित स्थल हस्तांतरित करने के लिए मुकदमा दायर किया. मस्जिद को ‘ढांचा’ नाम दिया गया.     17 दिसंबर 1959: निर्मोही अखाड़ा ने विवादित स्थल हस्तांतरित करने के लिए मुकदमा दायर किया.
18 दिसंबर 1961: उत्तर प्रदेश सुन्नी वक्फ बोर्ड ने बाबरी मस्जिद के मालिकाना हक के लिए मुकदमा दायर किया.
1984: विश्व हिंदू परिषद (वीएचपी) ने बाबरी मस्जिद के ताले खोलने और राम जन्मस्थान को स्वतंत्र कराने व एक विशाल मंदिर के निर्माण के लिए अभियान शुरू किया. एक समिति का गठन किया गया.
1 फरवरी 1986: फैजाबाद जिला न्यायाधीश ने विवादित स्थल पर हिदुओं को पूजा की इजाजत दी. ताले दोबारा खोले गए. नाराज मुस्लिमों ने विरोध में बाबरी मस्जिद एक्शन कमेटी का गठन किया.
जून 1989: भारतीय जनता पार्टी (बीजेपी) ने वीएचपी को औपचारिक समर्थन देना शुरू करके मंदिर आंदोलन को नया जीवन दे दिया.
1 जुलाई 1989: भगवान रामलला विराजमान नाम से पांचवा मुकदमा दाखिल किया गया।
9 नवंबर 1989: तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री राजीव गांधी की सरकार ने बाबरी मस्जिद के नजदीक शिलान्यास की इजाजत दी.
25 सितंबर 1990: बीजेपी अध्यक्ष लाल कृष्ण आडवाणी ने गुजरात के सोमनाथ से उत्तर प्रदेश के अयोध्या तक रथ यात्रा निकाली, जिसके बाद साम्प्रदायिक दंगे हुए.
नवंबर 1990: आडवाणी को बिहार के समस्तीपुर में गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया. बीजेपी ने तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री वी.पी. सिंह की सरकार से समर्थन वापस ले लिया.
अक्टूबर 1991: उत्तर प्रदेश में कल्याण सिंह सरकार ने बाबरी मस्जिद के आस-पास की 2.77 एकड़ भूमि को अपने अधिकार में ले लिया.
6 दिसंबर1992 : विवादित ढांचा गिरा दिया गया . अस्थायी मंदिर बना दिया गया.
16 दिसंबर 1992: मस्जिद की तोड़-फोड़ की जिम्मेदार स्थितियों की जांच के लिए लिब्रहान आयोग का गठन हुआ.
जनवरी 2002: प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी ने अपने कार्यालय में एक अयोध्या विभाग शुरू किया, जिसका काम विवाद को सुलझाने के लिए हिंदुओं और मुसलमानों से बातचीत करना था।
अप्रैल 2002: अयोध्या के विवादित स्थल पर मालिकाना हक को लेकर उच्च न्यायालय के तीन जजों की पीठ ने सुनवाई शुरू की.
मार्च-अगस्त 2003: इलाहबाद उच्च न्यायालय के निर्देशों पर भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण ने अयोध्या में खुदाई की. भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण का दावा था कि मस्जिद के नीचे मंदिर के अवशेष होने के प्रमाण मिले हैं. मुस्लिमों में इसे लेकर अलग-अलग मत थे.
सितंबर 2003: एक अदालत ने फैसला दिया कि मस्जिद के विध्वंस को उकसाने वाले सात हिंदू नेताओं को सुनवाई के लिए बुलाया जाए.
जुलाई 2009: लिब्रहान आयोग ने गठन के 17 साल बाद प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह को अपनी रिपोर्ट सौंपी.
28 सितंबर 2010: सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने इलाहबाद उच्च न्यायालय को विवादित मामले में फैसला देने से रोकने वाली याचिका खारिज करते हुए फैसले का मार्ग प्रशस्त किया.
30 सितंबर 2010: इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय की लखनऊ पीठ ने ऐतिहासिक फैसला सुनाया. इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट ने विवादित जमीन को तीन हिस्सों में बांटा जिसमें एक हिस्सा राम मंदिर, दूसरा सुन्नी वक्फ बोर्ड और निर्मोही अखाड़े में जमीन बंटी.
9 मई 2011: सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट के फैसले पर रोक लगा दी.
जुलाई 2016: बाबरी मामले के सबसे उम्रदराज वादी हाशिम अंसारी का निधन
21 मार्च 2017: सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने आपसी सहमति से विवाद सुलझाने की बात कही

The surprise development came on the last day of the hearings scheduled by the five judge-constitution bench of the Supreme Court. Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, had heard arguments from the two Hindu litigants in the case – the Ramjanmabhoomi Nyas, controlled by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, a front of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, and the Nirmohi Akhara – as well as the Sunni Waqf Board.

It is not clear why the Sunni Waqf Board has attached to its settlement proposal.

The Nyas and the Nirmohi Akhara wanted the land for the construction of a Ram temple, claiming the site as the birthplace of the Hindu god, and the former was reportedly unwilling to accept any of the conditions that the Waqf board had mooted as part of any compromise.

Chief among these was an assurance that the Hindutva groups would drop their demands that other Muslim places of worship, especially in Mathura and Varanasi, be converted to temples.
