करवा चौथ और पूजा विधि

करवा चौथ शुभ मुहूर्त, मंत्र, चंद्रोदय अपनी अपनी जगह का, पूजा विधि एवं पूजा सामग्री,
सौभाग्यवती नारियों का सुंदर सुहाग पर्व करवा चौथ इस साल 4 नवंबर 2020 को है.

इस दिन महिलाएं निर्जला व्रत रखती हैं और रात में चांद देखने के बाद अपना व्रत खोलती हैं.
इस दिन अगर सुहागिन स्त्रियां उपवास रखें तो उनके पति की उम्र लंबी होती है और उनका गृहस्थ जीवन सुखी रहता है.
ये व्रत सूर्योदय से पहले शुरू होता है जिसे चांद निकलने तक रखा जाता है.
इस व्रत में सास अपनी बहू को सरगी देती है इस सरगी को लेकर बहुएं अपने व्रत की शुरुआत करती हैं.
इस व्रत में शाम के समय शुभ मुहूर्त में चांद निकलने से पहले पूरे शिव परिवार की पूजा की जाती है.
चांद निकलने के बाद महिलाएं चंद्रमा को अर्घ्य देती हैं और अपने पति के हाथ से पानी पीकर व्रत को संपन्न करती हैं.
हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार कार्तिक मास के कृष्ण पक्ष में चतुर्थी तिथि के दिन करवा चौथ मनाया जाता है.
करवा चौथ का व्रत सुहागन स्त्रियों के लिए बहुत खास होता है.
कार्तिक मास के कृष्ण पक्ष की चतुर्थी तिथि को आने वाली संकष्टी चतुर्थी व्रत को ही करवा चौथ का व्रत है, इस साल करवा चौथ 4 नवंबर 2020 दिन बुधवार को मनाया जा रहा है,
पति की दीर्घायु, यश-कीर्ति और सौभाग्य में वृद्धि के लिए इस व्रत को विशेष फलदायी माना गया है.

करवा चौथ शुभ मुहूर्त

शाम 05 बजकर 34 मिनट से शाम 06 बजकर 52 मिनट तक करवा चौथ की संध्या पूजा का शुभ मुहूर्त है.

करवा चौथ व्रत की पूजा विधि.

सुबह सूर्योदय से पहले उठ जाएं सरगी के रूप में मिला हुआ भोजन करें पानी पीएं और भगवान की पूजा करके निर्जला व्रत का संकल्प लें. करवा चौथ में महिलाएं पूरे दिन जल-अन्न कुछ ग्रहण नहीं करतीं फिर शाम के समय चांद को देखने के बाद दर्शन कर व्रत खोलती हैं.
पूजा के लिए शाम के समय एक मिट्टी की वेदी पर सभी देवताओं की स्थापना कर इसमें करवे रखें.
एक थाली में धूप, दीप, चंदन, रोली, सिन्दूर रखें और घी का दीपक जलाएं.
पूजा चांद निकलने के एक घंटे पहले शुरू कर देनी चाहिए.
पूजन के समय करवा चौथ कथा जरूर सुनें या सुनाएं.
चांद को छलनी से देखने के बाद अर्घ्य देकर चंद्रमा की पूजा करनी चाहिए.
चांद को देखने के बाद पति के हाथ से जल पीकर व्रत खोलना चाहिए.
इस दिन बहुएं अपनी सास को थाली में मिठाई, फल, मेवे, रुपए आदि देकर उनसे सौभाग्यवती होने का आशीर्वाद लेती हैं.

चंद्र को अर्घ्य दें तो यह मंत्र अवश्य बोलें…

करकं क्षीरसंपूर्णा तोयपूर्णमयापि वा।
ददामि रत्नसंयुक्तं चिरंजीवतु मे पतिः॥
इति मन्त्रेण करकान्प्रदद्याद्विजसत्तमे।सुवासिनीभ्यो दद्याच्च आदद्यात्ताभ्य एववा।।
एवं व्रतंया कुरूते नारी सौभाग्य काम्यया। सौभाग्यं पुत्रपौत्रादि लभते सुस्थिरां श्रियम्।।

पूजन सामग्री में करवा चौथ के ‘पूजा का पाना’ तथा ‘करवा चौथ कथा की पुस्तक’ तो अवश्‍य होनी ही चाहिए.
लेकिन कुल मिलाकर ऐसी 34 चीजें और भी हैं, जो इस व्रत की शुरुआत से लेकर व्रत खोलने तक उपयोग में आती हैं.

Images sent by Chandrayaan-1 indicate possible impact of Earth’s atmosphere on Moon

Disclosing this here today, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and MoS Space, Dr Jitendra Singh said that ISRO’s maiden mission to the Moon has sent images which show that Moon may be rusting along the poles. The sign of this finding is that even though the surface of the Moon is known to have iron – rich rocks, it is not known for the presence of water and oxygen, which are the two elements needed to interact with iron to create rust, he said.

Scientists at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) say that this could be because the Earth’s own atmosphere is lending a helping hand which, in other words, means that the Earth’s atmosphere could be protecting the Moon as well. Thus, the Chandrayaan-1 Moon data indicates that the Moon’s poles are home to water, this is what the scientists are trying to decipher.

Dr Jitendra Singh said, as for Chandrayaan-3 is concerned, the launch may now take place somewhere in early 2021. Chandrayaan-3 will be a mission repeat of Chandrayaan-2 and will include a Lander and Rover similar to that of Chandrayaan-2, but will not have an orbiter.

Meanwhile, preparations are going on for India’s first ever Human Space Mission Gaganyaan, said Dr Jitendra Singh. The training processes and other procedures are also in place.

Constraints due to Covid pandemic led to some disruptions in the plan for Gaganyaan but efforts are going on to stick to the timeline of around 2022, he said.

The decision taken is in line with the long-term vision of the Prime Minister of transforming India and making the country self-reliant and technologically advanced.

India is among a handful of countries with advanced capabilities in the space sector. With these reforms, the sector will receive new energy and dynamism, to help the country leapfrog to the next stages of space activities.

This will not only result in an accelerated growth of this sector but will enable Indian Industry to be an important player in global space economy. With this, there is an opportunity for large-scale employment in the technology sector and India becoming a Global technology powerhouse.

Key Benefits:
Space sector can play a major catalytic role in the technological advancement and expansion of our Industrial base. The proposed reforms will enhance the socio-economic use of space assets and activities, including through improved access to space assets, data and facilities.

The newly created Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) will provide a level playing field for private companies to use Indian space infrastructure. It will also hand-hold, promote and guide the private industries in space activities through encouraging policies and a friendly regulatory environment.

The Public Sector Enterprise ‘New Space India Limited (NSIL)’ will endeavour to re-orient space activities from a ‘supply driven’ model to a ‘demand driven’ model, thereby ensuring optimum utilization of our space assets.

These reforms will allow ISRO to focus more on research and development activities, new technologies, exploration missions and human spaceflight programme. Some of the planetary exploration missions will also be opened up to private sector through an ‘announcement of opportunity’ mechanism.

ISRO efforts to establish communication with Vikram

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has been making all efforts to establish communication with Vikram Lander, days after Chandrayaan-2 Orbiter located it on the Moon’s surface.

Taking to micro-blogging platform Twitter on Tuesday morning, ISRO updated that though the lander was located but no communication with it has been made yet. “Vikram Lander has been located by the orbiter of #Chandrayaan2, but no communication with it yet. All possible efforts are being made to establish communication with lander,” tweeted ISRO.

ISRO chief K Sivan had on Sunday announced that the Orbiter had taken a thermal image of Vikram. The battery of Vikram Lander, which is carrying the Pragyan Rover, has an expected life of 14 days, so ISRO has another 12 days to establish communication with the craft. “We have found the location of Vikram Lander on lunar surface and orbiter has clicked a thermal image of Lander. But there is no communication yet. We are trying to have contact. It will be communicated soon,” Sivan had said on Sunday.

Vikram Lander was just 2.1 kilometres above the lunar surface when it lost contact with ISRO, throwing a pall of gloom over the Indian space agency, but Sunday’s development has rekindled hopes.

ISRO had released a statement on Saturday, a few hours after Vikram lander lost contact, stating that the Orbiter would continue with its mission. The perfect launch of Chandrayaan-2 and the technological capabilities developed by ISRO also ensured that the Orbiter’s life was now seven years and not just one year.

Chandrayaan 2 has been successfully manoeuvred into lunar orbit

India’s moonshot Chandrayaan 2 has been successfully manoeuvred into lunar orbit today, after nearly 30 days of space travel. This was one of the trickiest operations in the mission.

A higher-than-expected approach velocity would have bounced off the spacecraft into deep space, while a slow approach would have led to the moon’s gravity to pull Chandrayaan 2 and crash it on the lunar surface.

The approach velocity had to be just right and the altitude over the moon rather precise. Even a small error would have killed the mission.

“Following this, a series of orbit manoeuvres will be performed on Chandrayaan 2 spacecraft to enable it to enter its final orbit passing over the lunar poles at a distance of about 100 km from the moon’s surface,” the Indian Space Research Organisation said in a post on its website today.

“Subsequently, the lander will separate from the orbiter and enter into a 100 km x 30 km orbit around the moon. Then, it will perform a series of complex braking manoeuvres to soft land in the south polar region of the moon on September 7, 2019,” ISRO said.

The process of landing Chandrayaan 2 on the moon is very complex since it blasted off at a velocity of 39,240 kilometres per hour, which is almost 30 times the speed at which sound travels through air.

The former director of the ISRO satellite centre M Annadurai, who was the head of India’s first moon mission Chandrayaan 1, described the complexity of the operation: “It is like a gentleman with a rose in hand proposing to a lady who is dancing at a stunning speed of 3,600 kilometres per hour (almost five times the speed of an airplane), and not next door, but at a distance of 3.84 lakh kilometres away. If the couple have to meet, then the precision and accuracy is of utmost importance.”

India’s most ambitious space mission to date, Chandrayaan 2 had lifted off from the spaceport at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh on July 22.

Pictures of Earth captured by Chandrayaan-2

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has released the first set of pictures of Earth captured by Chandrayaan-2 Vikram Lander. The images were released on Sunday by ISRO on microblogging site Twitter.

Earth has been beautifully captured in the pictures by Chandrayaan-2 LI4 camera. They pictures were taken on Saturday.

Chandrayaan-2 had successfully carried out the fourth Earth bound orbit-raising manoeuvre for its lunar mission two days back.

ISRO had said in a statement, “Fourth earth bound orbit-raising manoeuvre for Chandryaan-2 spacecraft has been performed successfully today (August 2, 2019) at 1527 hrs (IST) as planned, using the onboard propulsion system for a firing duration of 646 seconds. The orbit achieved is 277 x 89472 km. All spacecraft parameters are normal.”

The next orbit-raising manoeuvre is slated on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, between 2.30 pm and 3.30 pm (IST).

The first, second, and third orbit raising manoeuvres were successfully carried on July 24, July 26, and July 29 respectively.

ISRO’s ambitious second unmanned Moon mission was put into motion on July 22, when the Chandrayaan 2 was injected into an elliptical orbit of 170×45,475 km by India’s heavy-lift rocket Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle-Mark III (GSLV Mk III) in a textbook style.

The spacecraft Chandrayaan 2 comprises of three segments — the Orbiter (weighing 2,379 kg, eight payloads), the lander ‘Vikram’ (1,471 kg, four payloads) and rover ‘Pragyan’ (27 kg, two payloads).

Chandrayaan 2 is scheduled to reach the Moon by August 20 and land on its surface on September 7. According to ISRO, the lander Vikram will land on the Moon on September 7.

The Chandrayaan 2 lunar mission will make India only the fourth nation in the world – behind US, Russia and China – to have reached the surface of the Moon.

India’s second mission to Moon, Chandrayaan-2 onboard GSLVMkIII-M1 was called off due to a technical snag on Monday, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) said.

“A technical snag was observed in launch vehicle system at T-56 minute. As a measure of abundant precaution, #Chandrayaan2 launch has been called off for today. Revised launch date will be announced later,” the ISRO tweeted.

The lift-off of the three-component spacecraft weighing 3,850 kg and comprising an orbiter, the lander and the rover was scheduled for 2.51 am from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) here.

In a first for India, ISRO will deposit a lander and rover on the surface of the Moon on 6 September 2019. The orbiter-lander-rover composite is expected to make a soft-landing on a previously unexplored region just 650 kilometres from the lunar South Pole.

This will be the first time any mission touched down so far away from the equator.

One of the primary objectives is to demonstrate the ability to soft-land on the lunar surface. Among the mission’s other scientific objectives are experiments to map the Moon’s surface, its mineral and element content, moonquakes and signatures of water-ice on the lunar surface

The mission is designed to hunt for deposits of Helium-3 — a waste-free nuclear energy that could answer many of Earth’s energy problems.

The isotope of Helium, which is abundant on the moon, could theoretically meet global energy demands for three to five centurie.

A Deccan Chronicle report said. This kind of energy is also expected to be worth trillions of dollars . There are approximately 1 million metric tons of Helium-3 embedded in the moon, the report said, although only about a quarter of that can realistically be brought to Earth.

The countries which have the capacity to bring that source from the moon to Earth will dictate the process. We don’t want to be just a part of them, we want to lead them,” ISRO chairman K Sivan said.
