In partnership with Aastha’s Centre of Excellence, the company has supported the establishment of a dedicated Occupational Therapy Unit and an Audiology Unit, designed to address critical developmental and therapeutic needs of children with disabilities.

Bengaluru, 5, 2025: Furthering its commitment to health and sustainability, Molbio has partnered with the Goa CSR Authority to donate ten electric garbage collection vehicles to the Sankhlim Municipal Council, Goa. In an event held today and attended by Dr. Pramod P. Sawant, Chief Minister of Goa, the vehicles were officially handed over to the Sankhalim Municipal Council. These vehicles will be used across the Sankhali constituency to support daily waste collection and promote a cleaner, greener environment. This initiative ties in with the Chief Minister’s push for sustainable, non-polluting technologies and is recognized under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.

The electric vehicles will transport domestic waste from various collection points to the main sanitary landfill, helping reduce fuel consumption and operating costs of up to several lakhs per annum. This move reflects a practical and responsible step toward lowering the environmental impact of essential municipal services while enabling cost-effective methods of keeping the state municipality machinery running smoothly.

Bengaluru, 23^rd April 2025: Molbio Diagnostics Limited, a pioneer in point-of-care molecular diagnostics, recently unveiled their latest innovation, Truenat® HPV-HR Plus, which enables expanded high-risk genotype detection. The chip-based RT-PCR test allows rapid and decentralized detection of eight high-risk genotypes of human papillomavirus (HPV) – which account for over 96% of cervical cancer cases globally. The multicentric validation was supported by the Grand Challenges India, Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) and the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India under its program “Validating Indigenous Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) Tests for Cervical Cancer Screening in India”, making it one of the most trusted, indigenously developed tools for cervical cancer screening in India.

India continues to bear a disproportionate burden of cervical cancer, accounting for nearly 25% of global cases. With more than 1,23,000 new diagnoses and around 77,000 deaths each year, the disease remains the second most common cancer among Indian women — despite being preventable through timely screening.

Highlighting the importance of developing homegrown solutions, Rajesh S.
