Shri Uday Anant Kaole, Chairman and Managing Director, launched the fortnight-long initiative by administering the Swachhata Pledge at the MCL Headquarters in Sambalpur, motivating workforce members to contribute to a cleaner and greener nation.

Amplifying the campaign’s reach, female employees flagged off a dedicated Swachhata Rath to spread message-driven awareness regarding safety, personal hygiene, and environmental care. Throughout the fortnight, MCL plans to host a series of clean-up drives, plantation activities, and community outreach programs to firmly embed the spirit of collective responsibility and sustainable hygiene practices across all its mining zones and administrative segments.
