The facility has real-time monitoring of energy and water usage and is in a path towards attaining the goal of zero waste to landfill. On the product side, GEG’s intralogistics innovations are transforming warehouse operations nationwide, with RoHS-compliant raw materials like steel and powder. Sustainable practices have doubled energy productivity and slashed specific energy consumption by 60%.

Meanwhile, the MHE division has embedded sustainability across its Vikhroli (Mumbai) operations, with notable gains in energy productivity, carbon footprint reduction, and adoption of renewable energy and water conservation practices. Meanwhile, as pioneers of electric forklifts in India, the MHE division recently introduced the country’s first lithium-ion battery-powered forklift, equipped with an indigenously developed Battery Management System (BMS) that enhances performance, safety, and battery life in demanding Indian conditions.
