अंदर की कहानी ये है कि हार्दिक पटेल जब से कार्याध्यक्ष बनाये गये उसके बाद से ही कांग्रेस में खुद को अकेला पा रहे थे लेकिन उनकी मुश्किलें पिछले साल उस समय से और बढ़ गयी जब लोकल बाडी चुनाव में उनके समर्थकों को टिकट ही नही दिया गया. सबसे बड़ा झगड़ा हुआ सूरत में टिकट को लेकर जब उस समय के गुजरात प्रभारी और अब दिवंगत राजीव सातव ने अपने तरीके से हार्दिक को साइडलाइन करना शुरु किया . करोना काल में केवल सातीव ही ऐसे कांग्रेसी थे जो लगातार राहुल गांधी से मिल रहे थे . राजीव सातव ,के सी वेणुगोपाल और शक्तिसिंह गोहिल की तिकड़ी ने राहुल गांधी के ऐसे कान भरे कि राहुल ने हार्दिक को तरजीह देना बंद कर दिया .इसके बाद हार्दिक ने प्रियंका गांधी से करीबी बढाने की अपील की लेकिन वो भी हार्दिक को न्याय नहीं दिला सकी और आखिर में जब चार महीने पहले से प्रशांत किशोर ने सलाह देना शुरु किया तो राहुल को ये समझा दिया कि हार्दिक की कोई बखत नहीं और प्रशांत किशोर ने खोडियार धाम के प्रमुख नरेश पटेल जो खुद भी पाटीदारों के नेता है उनको बढाया .हार्दिक को लग गया कि अगर नरेश पटेल कांग्रेस में आ गये तो पाटीदारों के नेता नरेश पटेल होंगे हार्दिक नहीं .आखिरकार कांग्रेस की आपसी खींचतान के बीच दो महीने पहले जब बीजेपी के एक बड़े नेता ने हार्दिक से संपर्क किया तो हार्दिक को कांग्रेस छोड़ने के फायदे बताये गये . फिर हार्दिक के ऊपर चल रहे केस हटना शुरु हो गये और उनके जाने की भूमिका बन गयी. ये तभी हो गया था कि हार्दिक जायेंगे लेकिन राहुल ने ये अवसर भी गंवा दिया.

हार्दिक भले जा रहे थे लेकिन राहुल को सार्वजनिक तौर पर उनको बुलाकर मिलना चाहिये था और ये दिखाना था कि कांग्रेस को  हार्दिक की जरुरत है और तब हार्दिक जाते तो कहने को हो जाता कि वो तो बीजेपी के ट्रेप में चले गये . तब हार्दिक उपेक्षा का आरोपभी नहीं लगा पाते लेकिन राहुल के दरबार की हालत ये है कि कोई भी तेजतर्रार नेता को उनके दरबारी टिकने ही नहीं देते. आसाम के हेमंत विश्वशर्मा से लेकर हार्दिक तक ये फेरहिस्त लंबी है.

अब जाहिर है गुजरात चुनाव में कांग्रेस की मुश्किलों काअंत नहीं . एक तरफ तो अहमद पटेल जैसा अनुभवी नेता नहीं दूसरा अब कांग्रेस के पास कोई बड़ा चेहरा नहीं जिसकी दम पर वो सरकार बनाने का विकल्प भी दे सके . नरेश पटेल आ गये तो अलग बात लेकिन पार्टी की अंदरुनी लड़ाई तो उनका भी रास्ता रोक सकती है. .

Pointing to the fact that Maharashtra Udayagiri Mahavidyalaya of the Maharashtra Education Society is marking its Diamond Jubilee this year, the President congratulated the entire team of the college for making continuous contribution in the field of education for past sixty years. Noting that the college was established by the farmers and traders of Udgir region with their hard-earned money, he said that society and nation progress only with such extraordinary contribution of ordinary citizens. He said that we should gratefully remember the contribution of founders on this occasion.

Remembering the literary contributions of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Dr BR Ambedkar, the President said that Mahatma Jyotiba Phule wrote revolutionary books like ‘Gulamgiri’ and ‘Tritiya Ratna’. The play ‘Tritiya Ratna’ is considered as an important work of social theatre. Babasaheb Ambedkar enriched the thinking of Maharashtra as well as whole country with the ideals of modernity and equality through his publications like ‘Bahishkrit Bharat’ and ‘Mooknayak’. On that egalitarian ideology and spirit, talented writers of the deprived classes, in modern era, have composed literature in Marathi which is called Dalit literature.

The President said that equality and valour are the identity of Maharashtra. In the 17th century, by flowing the streams of bravery and knowledge, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Samarth Guru Ramdas and Sant Tukaram, endowed Marathi identity and literature with extraordinary splendour which created a new self-respect in India.

Speaking about valuable and extraordinary contributions of women-power in Maharashtra, the President remembered Queen Naganika of Satavahana dynasty who lead her empire after the untimely demise of her husband; Veermata Jijabai who had not only built the character and personality of her son Veer Shivaji but also gave new heights to the Maratha pride through her able leadership; Janabai who composed a number of musical abhangas challenging caste and gender-based discrimination in the 14th century; Baija Bai who fought against British 40 years before the struggle of 1857. He also mentioned the contributions of Savitribai Phule, Sagunabai Kshirsagar, Fatima Shaikh, Mukta Salve and Tarabai Shinde to society, literature and education in 19th century’s Maharashtra. He said that Tarabai Shinde wrote a book ‘Stree-Purush Tulna’ in the year 1882 which is considered to be the first article written on the topic of women’s liberation in India. He said that the example of Dr. Anandibai Joshi who was among the first women of India to become a doctor, gives an introduction to a progressive society. In the 20th century, social workers like Pramila Tai Medhe have contributed nationwide.

The President said it is a matter of concern that the women of Maharashtra, who have been leading since ancient times in the fields of politics, social reform, thinking and literature, are lagging behind today. He noted that according to the 2011 census, Maharashtra was ranked 14th in terms of female literacy and 22nd on the sex-ratio parameter. He urged progressive citizens participating in the Literary Conference to take a pledge to encourage women to take lead in areas like health, education and literature.

शिव को बेलपत्र चढ़ाने की कथा माता पार्वती से जुड़ी है. करते हैं कि भगवान शिव को पति रूप में पाने के लिए माता पार्वती ने कठोर तपस्या की थी. साथ ही उन्होंने कई व्रत किए थे. एक बार भगवान शिव बेलपत्र वृक्ष के नीचे बैठकर तपस्या कर रहे थे. माता पार्वती जब शिव पूजा के लिए सामग्री लाना भूल गई तो उन्होंने वृक्ष के नीचे गिरे हुए बेलपत्र से शिव को ढक दिया. जिससे भगवान शिव बहुत अधिक प्रसन्न हुए. तब से शिवजी को बेलपत्र चढ़ाने की परंपरा है.

महाशिवरात्रि भारतीयों का एक प्रमुख त्यौहार है। यह भगवान शिव का प्रमुख पर्व है। फाल्गुन कृष्ण चतुर्दशी को महाशिवरात्रि पर्व मनाया जाता है। माना जाता है कि सृष्टि का प्रारम्भ इसी दिन से हुआ। पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार इस दिन सृष्टि का आरम्भ अग्निलिंग (जो महादेव का विशालकाय स्वरूप है) के उदय से हुआ। इसी दिन भगवान शिव का विवाह देवी पार्वती के साथ हुआ था। साल में होने वाली 12 शिवरात्रियों में से महाशिवरात्रि को सबसे महत्वपूर्ण माना जाता है|भारत सहित पूरी दुनिया में महाशिवरात्रि का पावन पर्व बहुत ही उत्साह के साथ मनाया जाता है|

कश्मीरी ब्राह्मणों के लिए यह सबसे महत्वपूर्ण त्योहार है। यह शिव और पार्वती के विवाह के रूप में हर घर में मनाया जाता है। महाशिवरात्रि के उत्सव के 3-4 दिन पहले यह शुरू हो जाता है और उसके दो दिन बाद तक जारी रहता है।

महाशिवरात्रि को नेपाल में व विशेष रूप से पशुपति नाथ मंदिर में व्यापक रूप से मनाया जाता है। महाशिवरात्रि के अवसर पर काठमांडू के पशुपतिनाथ मन्दिर पर भक्तजनों की भीड़ लगती है। इस अवसर पर भारत समेत विश्व के विभिन्न स्थानों से जोगी, एवम्‌ भक्तजन इस मन्दिर में आते हैं।

शिव जिनसे योग परंपरा की शुरुआत मानी जाती है को आदि (प्रथम) गुरु माना जाता है। परंपरा के अनुसार, इस रात को ग्रहों की स्थिति ऐसी होती है जिससे मानव प्रणाली में ऊर्जा की एक शक्तिशाली प्राकृतिक लहर बहती है। इसे भौतिक और आध्यात्मिक रूप से लाभकारी माना जाता है इसलिए इस रात जागरण की सलाह भी दी गयी है जिसमें शास्त्रीय संगीत और नृत्य के विभिन्न रूप में प्रशिक्षित विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से कलाकारों पूरी रात प्रदर्शन करते हैं। शिवरात्रि को महिलाओं के लिए विशेष रूप से शुभ माना जाता है। विवाहित महिलाएँ अपने पति के सुखी जीवन के लिए प्रार्थना करती हैं व अविवाहित महिलाएं भगवान शिव, जिन्हें आदर्श पति के रूप में माना जाता है जैसे पति के लिए प्रार्थना करती हैं।

Taking into account the impact of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic particularly on vulnerable groups, the MHA has again reiterated to States/ Union Territories to focus on vulnerable sections, especially children who may have been orphaned due to loss of parents due to COVID-19. The MHA has asked States/Union Territories to undertake an immediate review of existing facilities for vulnerable groups, especially for children who have been orphaned, senior citizens who may require timely assistance and support (medical as well as safety and security), and members of the Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes who may need guidance to access Government support facilities.

The MHA has requested States/ Union Territories forsensitization of police personnel, coordination with various line Departments/ Agencies concerned to effectively deploy the Women Help Desk in Police Stations and Anti-Human Trafficking Units in Districts. The NCRB has released several tools to States/Union Territories to facilitate in this activity, such as the Crime Multi Centre Agency (Cri-MAC) for police to share inter-state information; online National Alert Service for police on missing and found persons using the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS), and an automated photo matching web-based application UNIFY that uses the Machine Learning model to enable police personnel to search photographs of missing persons, unidentified dead bodies etc. against the national image repository in the CCTNS. The MHA has requested the States / Union Territories to create greater awareness on the central citizen servicefor missing personswhich is available online. The MHA has also referred to the recent SOPs issued for safety of Transgendersduring COVID-19.

States/ Union Territories have been using these facilities for the benefit of citizens.
