It is worth mentioning here that, the Outbound Learning initiative focused on a holistic development approach, addressed key aspects such as leadership, communication skills, performance enhancement, planning, change management, delegation, teamwork, and motivation. The tailored curriculum was designed to bring about positive changes in the participants’ professional skill sets and foster a collaborative work environment.

The outdoor adventurous setting included a 40-feet high rappling tower, wooden planks for Australian walk, tunnel for crawling, parallel rope, rope for monkey jumping and several other  team building games.

The valedictory function conducted for different batches on 23^rd, 26^th, 28^th and 30^th November was attended by Mr. Etwa Oraon, CGM (Plate Mill), Mr. R K Muduli, CGM (Electrical), Mr. S Praharaj, CGM (Vigilance) and ACVO and Mr. A C Patra, CGM (I&A) respectively. While the valedictory function on 10^th, 12^th and 14^th December were presided by Mr. Pinaki Chowdhury, CGM (Projects & Modernisation), Ms. Asha Kartha, CGM (Safety & Fire Services) and Mr. Sumit Kumar, CGM (Blast Furnaces). The dignitaries shared their Outbound Learning experience in relation to the Shop Floor issues and dynamics.

All the programs were conducted safely and successfully under the guidance of Mr. Himanshu Mishra, Senior Manager (HR- L&D) and Mr. S K Sukula, Deputy Manager (HR-L&D).
