Bengaluru, September 8, 2025: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), India’s leading SUV manufacturer, today announced that it will pass on the full GST benefits to customers across its entire ICE SUV portfolio. This follows the announcement of GST 2.0 at the 56th GST Council meeting held on September 3, 2025, and headed by Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of Finance, Government of India.

The benefits will be available to customers on the ICE portfolios starting from September 6, 2025.

Domestic sales in August 2025 were at 26,201 units, as against 20,518 units in August 2024, reflecting a 28% year-on-year growth.

Total tractor sales (Domestic + Exports) during August 2025 were at 28,117 units, as against 21,917 units for the same period last year. Exports for the month stood at 1,916 units.

Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, “We sold 26,201 tractors in the domestic market during August 2025, a growth of 28% over last year. The above-normal monsoon and improved reservoir levels augur well not only for Kharif crops but also for the upcoming Rabi season in October. While the IMD’s forecast of surplus rainfall in September – especially in certain pockets – may pose risks to Kharif harvests, it needs to be managed with caution. All these factors, along with continued government support through financing schemes for farmers could potentially drive tractor demand during the upcoming festive season. In the exports market, we have sold 1,916 tractors, a growth of 37% over last year.”

In the Utility Vehicles segment, Mahindra sold 52,431 vehicles in the domestic market, a growth of 21% and overall, 54,819 vehicles, including exports. The domestic sales for Commercial Vehicles stood at 21,392.

According to Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., “In May, we achieved SUV sales of 52,431 units, a growth of 21%, and total vehicle sales of 84,110 units, a 17% growth compared to the same month last year. Thanks to continued demand for our products, we were able to deliver industry-leading growth across our ICE and BEV portfolio.”

After a good Kharif crop, Rabi crop outlook is also looking positive due to favourable weather conditions. Increase in Agri credit limit, continued Government support to increase farmer incomes and a bumper Rabi harvest will help boost tractor demand going forward. In the exports market we have sold 1647 tractors, at a growth of 6% over last year.”

Bengaluru, February 25, 2025: Gromax Agri Equipment Ltd. (erstwhile Mahindra Gujarat Tractor Ltd.), a joint venture between Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and the Government of Gujarat celebrates its 25^th anniversary, marking a significant milestone in the tractor makers journey towards empowering Indian farmers with affordable mechanized solutions.

Rechristened to Mahindra Gujarat Tractor Ltd. with Mahindra acquiring a major stake in the company 1999 and renamed to Gromax Agri Equipment Ltd. in 2017, this signaled a strategic shift for the brand towards providing a distinctive and affordable range of mechanization solutions for India’s farming community. In the last 25 years Gromax has expanded its tractor range from about only 4 tractor models to over 40 variants in the 20-50HP segment under the TRAKSTAR (launched in 2017) and HINDUSTAN brand of tractors, and farm implements under the TRAKMATE brand.

To commemorate the company’s 25^th anniversary Gromax has launched all-new 4WD tractor models – the Trakstar 525 and Trakstar 536 during the year. The company has also introduced

With the Kharif harvest season getting completed, farmers are progressing with Rabi sowing. The marginal decline in the industry is due to shift in festive season of Diwali and Dhanteras as compared to the previous year. With very good reservoir levels and higher MSP for key Rabi crops, farmers sentiments are positive and cash flows healthy. Good progress in Rabi sowing and a good Rabi crop is expected to further boost demand for tractors in coming months. In the exports market, we have sold 1632 tractors, a growth of 62% over last year.”

The winning bid of ₹1.31 crore was placed, outbidding 20 active bidders in an auction conducted on carandbike.com from 15th to 16th September 2024.

The auction, which saw over 10,980 registrations, concluded with the winning bid of ₹1.31 crore. Mr. Minda chose the colour Nebula Blue from a range of seven striking options. The SUV, delivered in New Delhi by Manjari Upadhye, CMO, Mahindra Automotive, features an exclusive badge signed by Mahindra Group Chairman Mr. Anand Mahindra and a decorative branding plate numbered 001—further solidifying its position as a collector’s item.

Monsoon rainfall has seen an increase of 7.5% over LPA and this has helped increase in Kharif sowing of all crops except cotton. Reservoir levels have recovered very well and are now at 13% higher than LPA, which augurs very well for a bumper Rabi crop. On the back of good kharif crop and likely strong Rabi crop, rural sentiments are positive. With positive terms of trade for farmers and upcoming festivals, we expect robust demand for tractors going forward.   In the exports market, we have sold 1055 tractors.”
