According to the exit poll, 2024 General Elections is expected to see BJP alone crossing the half-way mark. INDIA bloc, the principal opposition alliance led by the Indian National Congress is likely to secure 125-140 seats, according to News18’s Mega Exit Poll.

While BJP is likely to get 305-315 seats, INC is expected to get 62-72 seats. Other parties are projected to secure 42-52 seats.

News18’s Exit Poll went live on Saturday (June 1), offering the most accurate projections of the likely outcomes of General Elections 2024. Featuring the largest sample size of more than 100,000 respondents, News18 Mega Exit Poll covered 518 Lok Sabha constituencies across 21 major states, making it one of India’s most extensive surveys.

With a structured questionnaire translated into 11 regional languages, the survey used mixed methodology for News18 Mega Exit poll. Unlike traditional exit polls conducted immediately after voters cast their votes, this survey was conducted the day after polling. This approach was chosen for its ability to yield more reliable responses and eliminate bias.

Fieldwork for the survey was carried out by ten different fieldwork agencies with strict quality control measures in place, including on-the-spot quality checks to validate the entire process.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the day he differentiated between Hindus and Muslims, he would not be fit for public life, pointing out that any discussion about people having more children must not be linked with Muslims as there are many poor families whose children are unable to receive education regardless of which community they belonged to.

When asked during an interview about what was the need to describe Muslims as infiltrators and those who produce more children, the Prime Minister said  “I am surprised. Who told you to link Muslims with overpopulation when there is a discussion on childbearing? Why do you unfairly treat Muslims? The situation is the same in poor families here as well. Their children are also unable to receive an education regardless of which community they belong to. I have not said Hindu or Muslim; I have said that you should only have as many children as you can afford to raise. Do not create such a situation,” he added.

To a question whether the Muslims would vote for him this time, PM Modi said he strongly believed that the people of the country would vote for him. “The day I differentiate between Hindus and Muslims, I will not be fit for public life. If I provide a house, I don’t see caste or religion. If there are 60 lakh beneficiaries, then all of them should receive 100% sanitation. True social justice means 100% sanitation, and true secularism means that if someone gets something on Monday, then next Monday my number should come up,” he added.

Replying to a question about the perception of his relation with the Muslim community, particularly when many Muslims are supporting him, the Prime Minister said, “This issue is not about Muslims. Individual Muslims might be with Modi to some extent, but there is a certain influence, which orders them what to do, and what not to do, based on which they make decisions. As far as Modi is concerned, many Muslim families are living next to my house. We used to celebrate Eid at our home, and other festivals too,” he added.

“In our house, food would come from all the Muslim families during Eid. During Muharram, there used to be a procession, like circumambulating temples. Even today, I have many old Muslim friends. After the 2002 Godhra incident, my image was greatly tarnished,” the prime minister said.

Pointing out that once he had trained 30 workers and taught them how to conduct surveys, not just number-based surveys but also how to communicate, PM Modi said there is a place called Manek Chowk in Ahmedabad where people used to go to eat. “All the traders there are Muslims, and the buyers are Hindus. It’s a very unique market. It gets so crowded that you can’t walk. If you go inside during Diwali, you can’t get out in less than two hours. All kinds of things are sold in that market. I said I wanted to survey that market. Send the boys there, and I used to take reports every day. They used to go there and ask, “How is Diwali?” They used to say, “If Modi is there, how can Diwali be good?” They would say, “Don’t take Modi’s name; this is a child, isn’t it? If his mother hears, she won’t feed him at night.”

“They said, Modi didn’t come; until then, he didn’t go to school. Modi came, so he’s going to school. These are Diwali holidays, so he came to my shop.” He never used to come to the shop before. His mother was so happy that her children’s lives were improving. They say, “Don’t speak against Modi in my house.” Around 90% of the shopkeepers may have different arguments, but the answer was the same,” he added.

Recounting a meeting with some Muslim women from Johapura, a locality inhabited by 3-4 lakh Muslims, PM Modi said they came to him to express their appreciation and discuss certain matters. He said they commended his actions regarding electricity management, to which he responded by admitting his initial scepticism. Despite his reservations, they insisted that his actions were commendable, citing the improved electricity situation in their area.

He elaborated that they explained how the presence of unauthorized persons in each neighbourhood facilitated the illicit extraction and resale of electricity, by laying illegal cables, leading to financial losses for the residents. They asserted that there has been a noticeable improvement in the regularity of electricity supply, which they attributed to the measures implemented by his administration.

PM Modi pointed out that his actions were, in fact, beneficial to the community. He emphasized that while numerous incidents shaped his experiences, he refrained from publicizing them for personal gain. “In my life, there have been hundreds of incidents, but I don’t market them. Why? Because my mantra has always been “Development for all.” I don’t work for vote banks, which is wrong. I will call it wrong,” he added.

Replying to a question as to what the opposition would do if his government were to secure 400 seats in the ongoing general election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has maintained that he is deeply committed to democracy and wants a strong opposition but they may not secure enough seats to constitute a recognized opposition, leading to suggestions that smaller parties could merge into the Congress.

“Strength doesn’t equate to obstructing Parliament or causing chaos, or engaging in undemocratic activities. Unfortunately, over the past decade, the opposition has failed significantly. They haven’t achieved much, even in their role as the opposition. If they couldn’t succeed in opposition, how could they govern effectively? India requires a robust democracy with strong opposition”.

He said that Sharad Pawar had proposed a constructive idea for strengthening the opposition, which he welcomed. “He suggested consolidating all small parties into the Congress. Whether these parties choose to merge with the Congress or not, and where such a merger would occur, is not my concern,” Modi remarked. “However, this suggestion itself implies their uncertainty about securing enough seats, and if such a merger were to happen, it would establish them as a legitimate opposition,” he asserted.

“I’ve introduced changes to the law. We have numerous schemes and committees where the leader of the opposition can participate, and important decisions are made. I’ve amended the law to ensure there is an opposition leader, who will be the head of the largest opposition party. This demonstrates my commitment to democracy; otherwise, I wouldn’t have taken such steps,” he added.

In response to a question, the Prime Minister expressed his belief that the ghats of Kashi are the identity of Kashi. He emphasized the need for modernity at the ghats, which led to the conception of the Namami Gange Ghat project. He noted that these days, a large number of people gather at the ghats in the evening, bridging the old and the new. People visit to witness the transformation, understanding the significance of Namami Gange, he added.

Addressing why he doesn’t tire, PM Modi reflected on his past, stating that as long as his mother was alive, he felt his existence was biological. “After my mother’s passing, I see all these experiences combined. I am convinced that I have been sent by the Parmatma. Leftist people might ridicule me, but I am certain that this level of energy didn’t come from the biological body. This energy wants to work through me, hence I have been endowed with abilities, capabilities, kindness, and inspiration. It also provides the capacity to make efforts.”

“I am nothing but a tool chosen by the divine to work through me. Therefore, whenever I act, I believe it is the divine’s will being accomplished through me. Forget worrying about your name, I am solely dedicated to the divine. Since I cannot physically see the divine, I am also a worshipper, a devotee. I consider the 140 crore countrymen as manifestations of the divine. They are my gods,” he concluded.

देश में इस समय चल रहे लोकसभा चुनाव में सबसे दिलचस्प चुनाव महाराष्ट्र का हो रहा है . इसकी एक बड़ी वजह यही है कि उत्तरप्रदेश के बाद देश में सबसे ज्यादा 48 सीट वाला ये राज्य ही तय करेगा कि किसकी केंद्र में सरकार बनेगी और किसकी विरासत को लोग असली मानते हैं. पिछली बार एनडीए जिसमें बीजेपी और तब की उदधव ठाकरे की अगुआई वाली अविभाजित शिवसेना शामिल थी दोनों ने मिलकर 41 सीट जीत ली थी . लेकिन अब हालात बदल गये हैं.

राज्य में इस बार चुनाव बड़ा दिलचस्प है इस बार कुल छह दल चुनाव मैदान में तीन तीन दो तरफ . इसमें से भी शिवसेना एकनाथ शिंदे को पुराना चुनाव चिन्ह और नाम मिला है और शिवसेना उदधव ठाकरे को नया चुनाव चिन्ह मिला है . इसी तरह एनसीपी भी दो भागों में बंट गयी है पहली अजित पवार की एनसीपी जिसको घड़ी का पुराना चुनाव चिन्ह मिल गया वहीं दूसरी तरफ शऱद पवार की एनसीपी को तुतारी मिला है . बीजेपी और कांग्रेस दोनों अब तक अविभाजित है. इसलिए मतदाता को तय करना है कि वो पुरानी पार्टी और नेता को चुनेगा या फिर नये बने गुट को .कुछ लोग इसे गददारी और लायल्टी के बीच का चुनाव भी कह रहे है.
भ्रष्टाचार कोई मुददा नहीं.

महाराष्ट्र के चुनाव में भ्रष्टाचार कोई मुददा ही नहीं . क्योंकि जो कल तक 70 हजार करोड़ के घोटाले के आरोपी थे उन अजित पवार को एनडीए ने ले लिया है . एकनाथ शिंदे से लेकर नारायण राणे तक कई नेता जो भ्रष्टार के आरोपी थे और कुछ पर ईडी की जांच चल रही है वो सब बीजेपी के साथी हो गये हैं. तो इस बार जनता को तय करना है कि वो जिनको वोट दे रही है वो सही है या वो भी चले जायेंगे . वोटर सबसे ठगा महसूस कर रहा है . नेता केवल सत्ता को ही सबसे बड़ा मान रहे हैं अब वोटर की बारी है .

मोदी लहर का नही है असर

देश में मोदी ने सबसे ज्यादा रैलियां करीब 20 महाराष्ट्र में ही की है जबकि पिछले चुनाव में वो केवल चार या पांच बार ही आये थे इससे साफ हो रहा है कि एनडीए के लिए कितनी बड़ी चुनौती है .बीजेपी इस बार केवल 28 सीट लड़ रही है जबकि शिवसेना शिंदे को 15 सीट दी गयी है. मोदी की इतनी सभाओं के बाद भी चुनाव बहुत ही लोकल और उम्मीदवार पर आ गया है . मोदी लहर का असर बहुत ज्यादा नहीं दिखायी दे रहा है .

जातियों में बंट गया है चुनाव

महाराष्ट्र में बहुत दिनों बाद पूरा चुनाव जातियों में बंट गया दिखायी दे रहा है .सबसे ताकतवर कहे जाने वाले मराठा समुदाय को आरक्षण के मुददे ने बांट दिया है.उनके नेता मनोज जरांगे पाटिल सरकार के खिलाफ बोल रहे हैं तो मराठा नेता बहुत से एनडीए के साथ है ऐसे में मराठा वोटर कन्फ्यूज है कि वो समुदाय या जाति का साथ दे कि नेताओं के साथ जाये . इसका बहुत सा असर वोटिंग और चुनाव पर दिखायी दिया है.

पहले और दूसरे दौर में विदर्भ की जिन 11 सीटों पर मतदान हुआ वहां कुनबी जो ओबीसी है उसको लेकर कई दावे सामने आ रहे है . कहा जा रहा है कि कुनबी इस बार पूरी तरह से कांग्रेस के साथ गया है इसलिए कांग्रेस विदर्भ में बेहतर नजर आ रही है .
तीसरे दौर के बाद से गैर कुनबी ओबीसी में बीजेपी ने बहुत मेहनत की और ओबीसी बनाम मराठा का एकजुटीकरण करने में बीजेपी को फायदा होते दिख रहा है .लेकिन ये ओबीसी बीजेपी के तो साथ है मगर एकनाथ शिंदे के साथ नहीं.

दलित वोट बैक की नयी चाल

इस बार दलित वोट बैंक को पहले वंचित बहुजन आघाड़ी ने साधने की कोशिश की लेकिन उनके नेता के पलटीमार बयानों के कारण ये संदेश गया कि वो तो असल मे बीजेपी का काम कर रहे है.उसके बाद वो अकेले रह गये और दलित वोट बैंक भी उनके साथ नहीं दिखायी दे रहा है ऐसे में दलित वोट बैंक का बड़ा हिस्सा छिटककर महाविकास आघाड़ी यानि विपक्ष के साथ जाता दिख रहा है . आरक्षण और संविधान को बचाने का मुददा नीचे तक जाते दिख रहा है .

मुस्लिम वोट बैंक एक तरफा .

इस बार राज्य का 11 से 13 प्रतिशत तक कहा जाने वाला मुस्लिम वोट बैंक पूरी तरह से उदधव ठाकरे और कांग्रेस के साथ दिखायी दे रहा है इससे सीटों में बहुत उलटफेर हो सकता है. मुस्लिम समाज ने इस बार ओवेसी को घास नहीं डाली और हर सीट पर टेक्टिकली वोट कर रहा है . खासकर हर दौर मे वो विपक्ष के गठजोड़ के साथ दिखा इसे किसी ने दलित मुस्लिम कुनबी यानी डीएमके इफेक्ट कहा तो कहीं डीएमएम यानि दलित मुस्लिम मराठा गठजोड़ दिख रहा है .

जातियों में बंट गये चुनाव में ये कहा जा रहा है कि बीजेपी तो काफी हद तक अपनी 23 में से ज्यादातर सीटें बचाने में कामयाब हो सकती है लेकिन एकनाथ शिंदे को 15 और एनसीपी अजित गुट को मिली 4 सीटों में सबसे ज्यादा नुकसान हो सकता है. परिणाम जो भी होगा उसका देश के साथ साथ महाराष्ट्र पर असर दूरगामी होगा क्योकिं चार महीने बाद ही विधानसभा के चुनाव भी होने हैं.

चुनाव आयोग में नियुक्ति को लेकर जो बिल आ रहा है उसमें चीफ जस्टिस को हटाने की बात हो रही है और केंद्र का एक मंत्री रहेगा, इस पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जब सारी बात आएगी तो उसमें हर कोई अपनी बात रखेगा। अभी कुछ भी कहना जल्दबाजी होगी। जदयू और राजद का गठबंधन तेल और पानी के समान है, आपलोग कभी नहीं मिल सकते हैं, इस पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जो ऐसा कहते हैं उन्हें बता दीजिए कि यहां कितना विकास हुआ है। गांधी मैदान में बापू की कितनी अच्छी मूर्ति बनी है। शिव सागर रामगुलाम जी की मूर्ति बनी है, इनके लड़के भी यहां आए थे। पूरे बिहार का विकास देखिए। बिहार में कितनी अच्छी सड़कें बन गई हैं, पुल बना है। लोगों के हर घर तक नल का जल पहुंच गया। हर घर तक बिजली पहुंचा दी गई है और इसका संचालन बेहतर ढंग से हो रहा है। गरीब राज्य रहते हुए हमलोगों ने मेहनत करके बिहार में विकास का काम किया है।

बिहार के बारे में आज कुछ लोग उल्टा-सीधा बोलते हैं। हमलोग एक साथ हैं तो कुछ लोगों को बेचैनी हो रही है। हमलोग एक-एक चीज पर योजना बनाते हैं और फिर उसपर विकास का काम होता है। हर चीज का मेंटेनेंस समय पर होना चाहिए। आपलोगों की मजबूरी है। जितना काम हमलोग करते हैं उतना आपलोग प्रचार नहीं करते हैं। जब आपलोगों को मौजूदा केंद्र की सरकार से मुक्ति मिलेगी तो आपलोग आजाद होकर अपने मन का लिखिएगा। जो अच्छा लगेगा वो बोलिएगा। हम आपलोगों के पक्ष में हैं। यह आपलोगों का अधिकार है। जैसे लोगों को राजनीति करने का अधिकार है वैसे ही जितने पत्रकार हैं उनको भी अधिकार है जो देखते हैं उसको लिखने-बोलने का। उनको अपनी बात रखने का अधिकार है। उनलोगों ने सबलोगों को नियंत्रित कर लिया है। जब हम कॉलेज में पढ़ते थे उसी समय से आपलोगों से मेरा रिश्ता है। जब हमलोग लोकनायक जयप्रकाश नारायण जी के नेतृत्व में आंदोलन चलाए तो आपलोगों ने कितना साथ दिया था। आपलोग नये लोग हैं, हम चाहते हैं कि आपलोग खूब आगे बढ़िए लेकिन आपलोगों पर जबरदस्ती वे लोग कब्जा किए हुए हैं। मुंबई में ‘इंडिया’ गठबंधन की जो बैठक हुई उसमें 2500 से ज्यादा पत्रकार थे। जब हमने अपनी बात कही तो सारे लोग ताली बजाने लगे और पत्रकार खुश हो रहे थे। जब इनलोगों से मुक्ति मिल जाएगी तो पत्रकार लोग भी आजाद हो जाएंगे। भारतीय जनता पार्टी के लोग ‘इंडिया’ गठबंधन को कोई चुनौती नहीं मानते हैं। पत्रकारों के इस सवाल पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हम जनता के सेवक हैं। हम किसी को चुनौती नहीं देते हैं। हम जनता के बीच में सारी बात कहते हैं। जो अच्छा काम नहीं करेगा लोग उसके बारे में फैसला लेंगे। ‘इंडिया’ गठबंधन पूरी तरह एकजुट हैं, कोई दिक्कत नहीं है।

मुंबई में होनेवाली ‘इंडिया’ गठबंधन की बैठक के सवाल पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हमारा काम अधिक से अधिक पार्टियों को एकजुट करना है। व्यक्तिगत रूप से मुझे किसी पद या किसी चीज की इच्छा नहीं है। हम तो कल भी इस बात को दोहरा चुके हैं। इंडिया महागठबंधन में कुछ और पार्टियों के शामिल होने के सवाल पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि अभी इस पर बोलना ठीक नहीं होगा। आपलोग देखते रहिए, जब बैठक में लोग आएंगे तो आपलोगों को पता चल जाएगा। इसपर पहले से बोलना ठीक नहीं होगा।

उद्घाटन के बाद मुख्यमंत्री ने नालंदा खुला विश्वविद्यालय के भवन का निरीक्षण किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने विश्वविद्यालय के पुस्तकालय, एकेडमिक भवन, एडमिन भवन आदि का निरीक्षण किया। निरीक्षण के क्रम में मुख्यमंत्री को नालंदा खुला विश्वविद्यालय के नवनिर्मित भवन में विद्यार्थियों के पठन-पाठन, उनके आवासन एवं अन्य उपलब्ध कराई जाने वाली सुविधाओं के संबंध में अधिकारियों ने विस्तृत जानकारी दी। कुलपति केसी सिन्हा ने मुख्यमंत्री को बताया कि यहां अतिथियों के ठहरने के लिए 24 कमरों के गेस्ट हाउस की सुविधा भी उपलब्ध कराई गई है।

निरीक्षण के क्रम में मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया कि यहां परीक्षा भवन की क्षमता 1500 विद्यार्थियों की है। उसका विस्तार करें और परीक्षा भवन को 2500 विद्यार्थियों की क्षमता के रुप में विकसित करना सुनिश्चित करें। इसका इस्तेमाल ऑडिटोरियम के रूप में भी हो सकेगा। इस विश्वविद्यालय परिसर में कुलपति, प्रतिकुलपति, प्रोफेसर, विद्यार्थियों एवं विश्वविद्यालय के अधिकारियों एवं कर्मियों के आवासन की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई गई है। इसे ध्यान में रखते हुए सुरक्षा का पुख्ता प्रबंध रखें। उन्होंने कहा कि नालंदा खुला विश्वविद्यालय का काफी सुंदर एवं भव्य भवन बन गया है। बड़ी संख्या में यहां विद्यार्थी शिक्षा ग्रहण कर सकते हैं। विद्यार्थियों के लिए हर प्रकार की बुनियादी सुविधाएं यहां उपलब्ध कराई गई है। बेहतर ढंग से इसका निर्माण हुआ है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यहां काफी जगह है। इसके एक हिस्से को विश्वविद्यालय के कॉन्सेप्ट के रुप में भी विकसित करें। एक तरफ खुला विश्वाविद्यालय के कॉन्सेप्ट पर विद्यार्थी शिक्षा ग्रहण कर सकेंगे। वहीं, इसके दूसरे हिस्से में विश्वविद्यालय की तर्ज पर भी विद्याथी शिक्षा ले सकेंगे।

पत्रकारों से बातचीत करते हुये मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि नालंदा खुला विश्वविद्यालय का कामकाज पटना में छोटी.-सी जगह से होता था, लेकिन अब बड़गांव में इसके भवन का बड़े स्तर पर निर्माण करवाया गया है। हमने इसके लिए यहीं पर जगह देखी थी और अधिकारियों से कहा था कि नालंदा खुला विश्वविद्यालय का निर्माण यहीं पर करवाइए। नालंदा खुला विश्वविद्यालय का भवन अब बहुत सुंदर बन गया है। अब बड़ी संख्या में छात्र-छात्राएं यहां नामांकन करा सकते हैं। इस विश्वविद्यालय में राज्य के बाहर के भी छात्र-छात्राएं नामांकन कराते हैं। इसीलिए हमने सलाह दी है कि अगर यहां पर आकर कोई पढ़ना चाहे तो उसके रहने-खाने और अन्य सुविधाओं का भी पर्याप्त इंतजाम होना चाहिए। यहां पढ़ानेवाले शिक्षकों, कर्मचारियों और छात्र-छात्राओं के रहने के लिए बड़े-बड़े कमरों वाले भवनों का भी निर्माण करा दिया गया है। इससे बढ़िया ओपन यूनिवर्सिटी इस देश में कहीं भी देखने को नहीं मिलेगी। इसका निर्माण अपने आप में अद्भुत है। हमने वर्ष 2019 में इसका शिलान्यास किया था और आज ये बनकर तैयार हो गया है। आज हमने इसका उद्घाटन भी कर दिया है। अब जब यह बनकर तैयार हो गया है तो एक-दो दिन में पटना से यहां पर सारा कुछ शिफ्ट कर दिया जाएगा। अब नालंदा खुला विश्वविद्यालय का सारा काम यहीं से होगा। अगर जरूरत होगी तो इसका विस्तार भी किया जाएगा।

जाति आधारित गणना को लेकर केंद्र सरकार द्वारा सुप्रीम कोर्ट में हलफनामा वापस लिए जाने के सवाल पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जनगणना का काम करवाना केंद्र सरकार का अधिकार है, लेकिन हमलोग जाति आधारित गणना करवा रहे हैं। सब पार्टियों की सहमति से यह काम करवाया जा रहा है। जाति आधारित गणना का काम लगभग पूरा हो गया है। अब इसकी रिपोर्ट प्रकाशित की जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार सभी राज्यों में जनगणना करवाती है। राज्य सरकार जनगणना नहीं करवा सकती, इसीलिए हमलोग गणना करवा रहे हैं। गणना का काम राज्य के अधिकार में आता है। केंद्र सरकार द्वारा जनगणना के दौरान अनुसूचित जाति-जनजाति और अल्पसंख्यकों की गणना का प्रावधान है, लेकिन हमलोग बराबर कह रहे थे कि अन्य सभी जाति-धर्म के लोगों की भी गणना करवा लीजिए। यह काम अबतक हो जाना चाहिए था, लेकिन कहां हुआ? हमलोग जनगणना नहीं बल्कि गणना का काम करवा रहे हैं। हमलोग सभी जाति-धर्म, चाहे वे उच्च जाति के हों या पिछड़े-अति पिछड़े जाति के हों, अनुसूचित जाति-जनजाति के हों, दलित-महादलित हों या फिर हिंदू-मुस्लिम, किसी भी धर्म के हों, किसकी कितनी संख्या है उनकी गिनती के अलावे सबों की आर्थिक स्थिति की भी जानकारी जुटा रहे हैं। हमलोग आर्थिक स्थिति की जानकारी इसीलिए जुटा रहे हैं ताकि कोई किसी जाति-धर्म का हो, उसके विकास के लिए काम कर सकें। हमलोग राज्य के हित में काम कर रहे हैं। इसके विरोध का कोई मतलब नहीं है। हमलोग अच्छा काम कर रहे हैं। इसीलिए बहुत लोगों को ऐतराज होता है।

बता दें कि नालंदा खुला विश्वविद्यालय का यह परिसर दस एकड़ में फैला है। इस नये भवन में आधुनिक सुविधाओं से युक्त कार्यालय के साथ-साथ सेमिनार, सम्मेलन एवं कार्यशाला आयोजित करने की सुविधायें उपलब्ध करायी गयी है। इसमें छात्र-छात्राओं के लिये अलग-अलग छात्रावास तथा अतिथिशाला भी बनाये गये हैं। इससे विश्वविद्यालय में कला-संस्कृति एवं खेलकूद से संबंधित कार्यक्रमों के आयोजन में शामिल होने के लिये दूर से आनेवाले विद्यार्थियों को रहने में सहूलियत होगी। अतिथिशाला की सुविधा से सेमिनार एवं कार्यशालाओं में भाग लेने के लिए देश-विदेश से आनेवाले विद्वानों को रहने में सुविधा होगी। यहां पत्रकारिता पाठ्यक्रम के छात्रों के अध्ययन के लिये स्टूडियो भी तैयार किया गया है। लाइब्रेरी और कंप्यूटर लैब भी अलग-अलग तल पर बनाये गये हैं। वर्तमान में नालंदा खुला विश्वविद्यालय में 105 पाठ्यक्रम चलाये जा रहे हैं। इनमें से अनेक पाठ्यक्रम रोजगारोन्मुखी, व्यावसायिक एवं कौशल विकास से संबंधित हैं। अभी नालंदा खुला विश्वविद्यालय में विद्यार्थियों की कुल संख्या लगभग एक लाख 20 हजार है।
