Building on the first chapter that encouraged women to embrace fashion on their own terms, this year’s You Go, Girl! goes beyond what women wear — to how they move through the world unbothered by labels and guided by their own choices. It celebrates the ease of being yourself and moving with belief in who you are, not who you are told to be.

The campaign film captures something every woman knows — that quiet, familiar weight of being labelled, and the choice to simply rise above it. Kriti steps into a bright lobby, only to be surrounded by floating labels that echo familiar stereotypes: Too ambitious. Too bold. Opinionated. The 54-year-old actor, who will playing the titular role in the movie, an official remake of Tom Hanks’ “Forrest Gump”, took to Twitter to express his gratitude to the team of “Bachchan Pandey”.

“Sometimes all it takes is one conversation. Thank you to my friends @akshaykumar and Sajid Nadiadwala for their warm gesture of moving the release date of their film Bachchan Pandey at my request. I wish them the very best for their film. Looking forward to it,” Aamir tweeted.

Akshay, 52, also posted the new release date and poster of “Bachchan Pandey” on the microblogging site, saying he is always there for his industry friends.

“Anytime @aamir_khan, we’re all friends here. Presenting – new look, new release date. Coming on 22nd January, 2021. In and as #BachchanPandey!” he tweeted.

“Laal Singh Chadha” features Kareena Kapoor Khan opposite Aamir, while Kriti Sanon stars alongside Akshay in “Bachchan Pandey”.

In another tweet, Akshay announced that his film “Bell Bottom”, which was earlier scheduled to come out on January 22, 2021, will now hit the theatres April 2, 2021.

“I know there are enough memes out there about me clashing with myself one day but 22nd January, 2021 is not that day #BellBottom will now release on 2nd April, 2021,” the actor wrote alongside a poster of the Ranjit M Tewari-directed film.

Meanwhile Hundreds of protesters who gathered at Mumbai’s iconic Gateway of India since Sunday night in anger against the mob attack in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) were forced out by the police this morning and moved to Azad Maidan, 2 km away. This after the police were told by the students that there was no leader of the protest and no one would listen to the requests to shift to Azad Maidan.

Policemen then physically removed from the popular tourist site that became the epicentre of the “Occupy Gateway” protest. The police say while some moved voluntarily, some had to be dragged away from the site after they refused to comply.

A police officer told there are no toilet or water facilities at the Gateway of India and it was becoming a challenge to control the crowd at what is one of the busiest sites in Mumbai.

Actor Anil Kapoor has strongly condemned the violent attack on the students and faculty members of Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) by masked assailants on Sunday night.

The actor said, “It has to be condemned. It was quite sad and quite shocking. What I saw was very disturbing. In fact, main poori raat soya nahi yeh soch soch ke ki what is happening. (In fact, I did not sleep all night because I was thinking about what is happening.) It has to be condemned. Violence se kuch hone wala nahi hai. Jinhone yeh kiya, they should be punished, absolutely.

A Boxofficeindia report claimed that the remake of the 1978 BR Chopra film made Rs 13.5-14 crore on Sunday, a slight jump from its Rs 12.33 crore collection on the second day.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh had earlier tweeted figures for the first two days of the film’s box office performance. “#PatiPatniAurWoh hits the bull’s eye… Witnesses all-round growth on Day 2… Wins over youngistaan as well as family audience, metros as well as mass markets… Eyes ₹ 36 cr [+/-] total in its *opening weekend*… Fri 9.10 cr, Sat 12.33 cr. Total: ₹ 21.43 cr. India biz,” he tweeted.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is a remake of the 1978 film of the same name that starred Ranjeeta, Vidya Sinha and Sanjeev Kumar in lead roles.

Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor-starrer Panipat performed slightly better at the box office on Sunday, with an estimated earning of Rs 7.5-8 crore on the third day of the release, the report added. The film stands at a Rs 17.9 crore total in three days.

Taran had shared details of box office performance of the Ashutosh Gowariker directorial. “#Panipat shows an upward trend on Day 2… #Maharashtra [#Mumbai circuit especially] is performing best… Needs to cover lost ground on Day 3, especially in circuits with strong presence of multiplexes… Fri 4.12 cr, Sat 5.78 cr.
