]]> In the august presence of Union Minister of Power & Housing & Urban Affairs Shri Manohar Lal, the 2nd Unit (660 MW) of 1320 MW Khurja Super Thermal Power Project was inaugurated & declared commercially operational through virtual mode. The Hon’ble Minister congratulated CMD of THDC, Shri R.K Vishnoi and the team for their dedicated efforts towards this project. With the 1st Unit operational since 26 Jan 2025, both units are now running, adding 1320 MW to the nation’s power capacity. Despite challenges like COVID-19, this milestone reflects the dedication of our engineers & the spirit of New India in delivering projects on time and strengthening energy security.
