Bengaluru, February 17, 2025: Gujarat Titans celebrated the successful finale of the ‘Junior Titans’ Season Two in Ahmedabad, which also marked their first collaboration with Pokémon, one of the most beloved global brands. The initiative, themed ‘Let’s Sport Out,’ is designed to spark a love for outdoor sports among children under 14. The Season Two finale was held at the St. Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall, Ahmedabad. The innovative initiative travelled across five cities in Gujarat, starting from Junagadh, then Bhavnagar, Bharuch, Palanpur, and finally culminating in Ahmedabad today. Children came out in huge numbers across the five cities with a participation of over 5000 children from 106 schools.

A unique initiative by Gujarat Titans, Junior Titans encourages children to participate in outdoor activities and seeks to establish a vibrant sports culture by nurturing a lifelong passion for outdoor sports from an early age. One of the key highlights of this season was the partnership with Pokémon. As a part of the association, children were given a chance to meet Pikachu, their beloved Pokémon, and participate in thrilling activities with exciting merchandise as prizes. In Palanpur and Ahmedabad, Pokémon also distributed goodie bags and stickers. This partnership will extend into Gujarat Titans’ cricketing season, allowing selected children to experience a live match day in association with Pokémon. Gujarat Titans’ fans would also get a chance to interact with Pikachu in the team’s home stadium – Narendra Modi Stadium’s fan zone, through a digital integration set to be launched during the upcoming cricket season.

The children engaged in several activities during the event across the five cities that include Titan Says – an interesting warm-up activity, a LALIGA masterclass, a showcase of glorious moments of Gujarat Titans, and a fun quiz. They also took part in exciting challenges such as fitness exercises, facing the bowling machine, hitting the stumps, bowling and penalty kicks. Overall, the children had enriching physical as well as interactive exercises to improve their sports acumen. The grand finale in Ahmedabad not only celebrated the achievements of the past weeks but also reinforced the initiative’s commitment to encouraging a healthy, energetic and active lifestyle among children.

Bengaluru, February 10, 2025: Following the successful conclusion of the Junagadh, Bhavnagar, and Bharuch legs, Gujarat Titans brings the exciting second season of Junior Titans to Palanpur. The initiative, themed ‘Let’s Sport Out,’ is designed to spark a love for outdoor sports among children under 14 and was held at the School Of Science (SOS), Palanpur. The event saw an enthusiastic turnout, with over 950 children from 22 schools participating, including 12 government schools and two NGOs.

A unique initiative by Gujarat Titans, Junior Titans encourages children to participate in outdoor activities. The program seeks to establish a vibrant sports culture by nurturing a lifelong passion for outdoor sports from an early age. With four cities successfully taking part in the ongoing second season, the initiative will now move to Ahmedabad for its final stop. The inaugural edition reached over 5,000 children from 117 schools, inspiring children to actively participate in various sports, including cricket, football, and athletics.

Bengaluru, January 15, 2025: Following the resounding success of its inaugural season, Gujarat Titans is thrilled to announce the second season of ‘Junior Titans’, its unique initiative dedicated to nurturing a passion for outdoor sports among children under-14. ‘Junior Titans,’ embodying the ethos of ‘Let’s Sport Out’ will rekindle the excitement of outdoor activities for young children, giving them exposure in various sports and making it a delightful experience for them. Junior Titans events will be held in five key cities of Gujarat: Ahmedabad, Junagadh, Bhavnagar, Bharuch, and Palanpur.

LALIGA, the top tier of the Spanish football league, continues their association for the second season of the program, undertaking the football workshops at these events. This season will see LALIGA’s expert technical coaches offering young talents a chance to learn from the best in the field. This collaboration will provide the participating children with invaluable insights and expand their sporting horizons.

The second season also sees one of Japan’s most loved brands Pokémon, collaborating with Junior Titans, giving children a chance to meet their beloved Pokémon characters and participate in exciting activities at the venues and take home amazing merchandise.

This edition will also see Bisleri supply children with drinking water, while SG will provide the necessary sports equipment.

Kicking off on January 18th in Junagadh, each city will host a one-day community sports event designed to celebrate the joy of outdoor play and sportsmanship. The events will feature a variety of engaging activities, including cricket and football challenges, quizzes and a walk through the history of Gujarat Titans. Participants can also look forward to exciting giveaways and delicious food, all aimed at fostering community engagement and camaraderie.

This edition, ‘Junior Titans’ will include participation from around 25 schools in each city, including 10 private schools and 5 government schools. In addition to the schools, 5 NGOs will participate, ensuring a diverse and inclusive environment for all young athletes. With an expected turnout of around 900 participants in each city, the program promises to be a grand celebration of sports and community spirit.

The successful first edition had seen successful events across five cities in Gujarat from Vadodara to Bhuj and Surat to Rajkot with the enthusiastic participation of over 5000 children from 117 schools.
