Mumbai, 30th July 2026: JSW Sports, the sports arm of the JSW Group, has announced the signing of Bengaluru FC forward Ryan Williams, further strengthening its growing roster of elite sporting talent.

One of the Indian Super League’s most exciting attacking players, Williams has established himself as a key figure for Bengaluru FC since joining the club in 2023. Renowned for his pace, creativity and relentless work ethic, he has been instrumental in the club’s resurgence, consistently delivering match-winning performances and emerging as one of the league’s standout forwards.

Born in Australia, Williams brings over a decade of professional experience across Australia, England and India. Having represented clubs including Fulham, Barnsley, Portsmouth, Rotherham United and Oxford United across League One, League Two and Championship football, he has made more than 350 senior professional appearances, building a reputation as one of the most consistent forwards across the leagues he has played in.

Earlier this year, Williams officially switched his nationality from Australia to India. He made an immediate impact on his debut in March 2026, scoring just four minutes into India’s match against Hong Kong—the fastest debut goal in the history of the Indian men’s national team. Since then, he has continued to establish himself as one of the country’s most exciting attacking talents.

As part of the partnership, JSW Sports will exclusively manage Williams’ commercial engagements, brand partnerships and off-field opportunities, supporting him in building a long-term personal brand alongside his football career.

Speaking about the signing, Himanshu Sharma, Head of Brand Consulting and Talent Sales at JSW Sports, said, “Ryan has earned a strong reputation through his consistency, professionalism and the standards he sets for himself. His journey across Australia, England and India reflects the ambition and resilience that we value at JSW Sports. As our first-ever footballer to join the JSW Sports talent roster, Ryan’s signing marks an important milestone for us. We believe he has all the attributes to become one of the most recognizable faces in Indian football, and we’re excited to partner with him as he continues to grow both on and off the field. We look forward to helping him unlock new opportunities while supporting him through the next phase of his career.”

Speaking about the partnership, Ryan Williams said, “This is an exciting new chapter for me, and I’m really looking forward to working with the team at JSW Sports. They’ve built a strong reputation for supporting athletes beyond their performances on the field, and I’m looking forward to working with a team that understands the importance of long-term career development. My immediate focus is on continuing to perform consistently for Bengaluru FC and the Indian national team, while also growing as a professional off the pitch. I hope this partnership will help me connect with more fans, create meaningful opportunities beyond football, and build a strong foundation for the years ahead as I continue to evolve both as a player and as a person.”

Williams joins a distinguished talent roster at JSW Sports featuring some of India’s biggest sporting names across cricket, football and other disciplines, including Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Axar Patel, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Niki Prasad and Kartik Sharma. His addition further strengthens JSW Sports’ position as one of India’s leading athlete management agencies, representing a diverse portfolio of elite and emerging talent. Through strategic career management, commercial partnerships and long-term brand building, JSW Sports continues to empower athletes to maximize their potential on the field while creating enduring opportunities beyond the game.

Consolidated Financial Performance

Q4 FY2025

During the quarter, the Company handled cargo volumes of 31.2 million tonnes which is higher by 5% over the last year.

The volume increase was mainly due to robust performance at the coal terminals in Mangalore, Ennore, and Paradip, along with contributions from interim operations at the Tuticorin Terminal and the JNPA Liquid Terminal. However, this growth was partially offset by reduced cargo volumes at the Iron Ore terminal in Paradip.

The increase in the third-party volume was stronger with 11% year-on-year growth and the share of Third Party in the overall volumes stood at 50% vs 47% a year ago.

The higher volumes and consolidation of Navkar Corp’s business translated to 14% year-on-year growth in the total revenue which stood at ₹1,372 Crore. EBITDA increased to ₹730 Crore (+7% yoy) with a robust margin of 53.2%. Consequently, PAT stood at ₹516 Crore, reflecting a growth of 57%.

FY2025

During the year, the company handled cargo volumes of 117 million tonnes which is higher by 9% over the last year. The increase in the volume is primarily on the incremental volumes from the acquired assets (Fujairah Liquid Terminal and PNP Port) and increased capacity utilisation across the coal terminals at the Paradip, Ennore and Mangalore.

The third-party volumes stood at 57.3 million tonnes, implying a healthy growth of 34% Year on Year. As a result, the share of third-party in the overall volumes increased to 49% as compared to 40% a year ago.

The higher volume translated to 20% growth in the total revenue including consolidation Navkar Corp from 11th Oct, 2024 which stood at ₹4,829 Crore. Increased revenue, the benefit of operating leverage and cost control meant EBITDA of ₹2,615 Crore (+17% YoY) with a strong margin of 54.2%. As a result, PBT grew at 23% to ₹1,803 Crore, while PAT stood at ₹1,521 Crore representing a 31% year-on-year growth.

Growth Strategy

As previously announced, the Company has embarked on a growth plan to increase its cargo handling capacity to 400 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) by FY 2030 or earlier, up from the current capacity of 177 mtpa. To achieve this, it has outlined a comprehensive capital expenditure (capex) plan of ₹30,000 crores.

Additionally, the Company has earmarked ₹9,000 crores for expanding its logistics segment. This expansion aims to build on the Navkar acquisition to develop a robust pan-India logistics network. The Company is targeting a top line of ₹8,000 crores for its logistics segment, with a 25% EBITDA margin, resulting in industry-leading Return on Capital Employed (ROCE).

With a strong balance sheet, the Company is well-positioned to pursue both organic and inorganic growth without compromising its leverage ratios.
