Bengaluru, December 08, 2025: The Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) Season 2 witnessed an electrifying night of high-octane motorsport as Round 2 unfolded at the GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium, Gachibowli, with megastar and ISRL Brand Ambassador Salman Khan in presence. The event was officially flagged off by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Revanth Reddy, Government of Telangana.

Team Gujarat Trailblazers clinched the overall victory in Round 2. Anthony Bourdon from BB Racing (France) stormed ahead to win the 450cc International Class riding  a Honda CRF 450 R, while Calvin Fonvieille (France) claimed victory in the 250cc International Class aboard Yamaha YZ 250 . In the fiercely contested 250cc India-Asia Mix category, Nakami Makarim from team Bigrock Motorsports (Indonesia) powered through on a Kawasaki KX 250 to secure the chequered flag in front of roaring fans.

The stadium recorded a massive surge in attendance with over 18,000 fans packing the venue, creating an unforgettable spectacle of speed, skill and global racing excellence.

For the first time in Indian motorsport history, franchise teams are now permitted to retain a limited number of riders from their previous season’s roster, adding a new layer of strategic depth to team-building and auction dynamics.

Internationally, athlete retention is a practice with most established sporting leagues. Now, ISRL brings this competitive structure to Indian Supercross, reinforcing the league’s growing stature on the global motorsport stage. With a record-breaking 155 riders from 23 countries registered for the Season 2 auction, the retention mechanism provides teams with the opportunity to preserve core strengths while preparing for intense bidding battles in the weeks ahead.

What Does Rider Retention Mean for Teams?

The Rider Retention Mechanism allows each Season 1 franchise to retain up to two riders, limited to one per category, ahead of the auction. This cap forces even top-performing teams to make calculated choices, emphasizing continuity and long-term planning without compromising the competitive balance of the league.

BB Racing

BB Racing has retained Jordy Tixier, one of the league’s top performers from Season 1and winner of the All Stars category, marking himself as a dominant force on the track. With a refreshed squad being built around him, BB Racing aims to climb even higher in Season 2.

Bengaluru, 15^th April, 2025: The Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL), the world’s first franchise-based Supercross league, is back with a bang! The much-anticipated Season 2 kicks off with the opening of rider registrations on 24^th April, 2025 – promising even higher-octane action, new international faces, and the return of celebrated talent from across the globe.

Following a phenomenal inaugural run that brought together over 100 elite riders from nine countries and electrified fans across Indian cities, ISRL is rapidly becoming a sought-after destination for global motorsport talent and investors. The season 2 is poised to reach greater heights with enhanced ambition, a bigger format, and added star power—most notably with superstar Salman Khan joining hands with the league as the official brand ambassador to amplify its reach and visibility. With inquiries already pouring in from international athletes and a strong home grown line-up raring to go, the stage is set for a thrilling new chapter in the ISRL story.

The rider registration process covers four competitive categories:

• 450cc International Riders
• 250cc International Riders
• 250cc India-Asia Mix
• 85cc Junior Class

ISRL’s inaugural season set new benchmarks for motorsport events in India with a physical attendance of over 30,000 and a viewership of 11.5Mn in just 3 days of broadcast, establishing a new global record for a Supercross event.
