CMD Shri Manoj Dubey shared the performance highlights of Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) for FY 2024-25 at its 38th Annual General Meeting, reporting revenue of Rs. 27,152 crore, a profit after tax of Rs. 6,502 crore, and a net worth of Rs. 52,667 crore. He noted that the company achieved a CRAR of 672.85%, earnings per share of Rs. 4.98, and a book value of Rs. 40.30 per share, while paying a dividend of Rs. 3,005 crore, reflecting IRFC’s strong financial performance and consistent growth.

DPE has announced the grant of Navratna status to the IRCTC and IRFC

The Government has approved the upgradation of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to Navratna CPSE, making it the 25th #Navratna among CPSEs!” the department said in a post on X.

The 36th AGM of the Indian Railway Finance Corporation Limited was held under the chairmanship of Smt. Shelly Verma, CMD (Additional Charge) and Director (Finance) of the company.

While addressing the AGM, Smt. Shelly Verma said: “IRFC reported a strong financial performance during the year under review, with all-time high revenue and profits. The net profit of IRFC for FY23 stood at ₹6,337.01 crore, an increase of 4.06% against ₹6,089.84 crore in the last fiscal.”

IRFC posts revenue of Rs. 6,679 Crore; PAT of Rs. 1,556 Crore for Q1 FY24

Indian Railway Finance Corporation Limited, Schedule ‘A’ Public Sector Enterprise (“IRFC” or the “Company”), the dedicated market borrowing arm of the Indian Railways, has announced its un-audited financial results for Q1 FY2023-24.

The revenue from operations of the company for Q1 FY24 grew by 18.69% to Rs. 6,679.17 Crore as against Rs. 5,627.44 Crore reported in Q1 FY23. The Company also reported PAT of Rs. 1,556.57 Crore for Q1 FY24 vis-à-vis Rs. 1,661.58 Crore reported in Q1 FY23.

Commenting on the financial results, Ms. Shelly Verma, CMD (Addl. Charge) & Director (Finance) said: “IRFC envisions to further expand its horizons and diversify its lending portfolio by venturing further into the railway ecosystem and leverage its financial expertise to contribute significantly to the nation’s infrastructure development.”
