The long-term agreement ensures a reliable supply of power to Uttar Pradesh for a period of 40 years, commencing from the project’s commercial operation date. The contract was formally signed by the General Manager of Commercial at NHPC and the Chief Engineer of PPA at UPPCL, with senior organizational officials in attendance.
