NEW DELHI – The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Shri Arvind Kumar, currently serving as General Manager at Indian Oil Corporation Limited, for appointment as Director (Finance) at National Fertilizers Limited (NFL). The recommendation was made after interviews of shortlisted candidates, which included Shri Hrishikesh Kumar, Senior Executive Director (Finance), NBCC (India) Limited; Shri Ashok Kumar Mali, Chief General Manager (CFO–NUPPL), NLC India Limited; Shri Amit Rautela, Chief Financial Officer, Meja Urja Nigam Pvt. Ltd., NTPC Limited; and Shri Neeraj Kumar, Additional General Manager (Finance), BHEL.

SAIL, RSP signs Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) with Indian Oil Corporation Limited for the supply of Bulk Explosives to SAIL mines

SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) on 11^th April, 2025, for the supply of Bulk Explosives to SAIL mines.

The Memorandum was signed in the presence of Mr. Anil Kumar, ED (MM) and Mr. M P Singh, ED (Mines). Senior officials from both SAIL and IOCL were present on the occasion. From RSP’s side the Senior Officers present were, Mr. Rajiv Sehgal, CGM(MM), Mr. Samir Kumar Ray, GM(F&A), Mr. M. Sreenivas, GM(MM), Mr. Ajay Shukla, GM(MM), Mr. Gautam S. Gaswami, GM(MM), Mr. M. K. Dash, DGM(MM) and Mr. B. R. Mandal, DGM (MM). From IOCL, the event was attended by Mr. Ajay Gatlewar, GM (Marketing), Mr. Alok Kumar, DGM (Marketing) and Mr. Manish Kumar, Assistant Manager (Marketing).

This collaboration is aimed at ensuring a steady and uninterrupted supply of Bulk Explosives for the next three years, which is critical for the smooth operation of SAIL’s mining activities. The MoC is a step forward in strengthening the supply chain and ensuring timely availability of essential materials for mining operations. The partnership between these two Maharatna PSUs will help in achieving operational excellence and resource security in the mining sector.

RINL and IOCL Sign MoU for Lubricants Supply

Bagchi, Director (Projects) and Director (Operations) at RINL, highlighted the collaboration as a benchmark in nation-building through industrial partnership. Sri R. Uday Kumar, ED (Lubes) at IOCL, described the agreement as a “Milestone day,” celebrating the three-decade-long association between the companies. The MoU ensures uninterrupted lubricant supply to RINL, along with technical support, condition monitoring, and training to optimize lubricant use and efficiency.

INDIAN OIL hands over hydrogen bus to INDIAN NAVY

A collaborative effort by the Indian Navy and Indian Oil Corporation Limited has resulted in handing over of a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Bus by the IOCL to Indian Navy for trials and performance testing. The hydrogen powered bus unveiled today represents collective efforts by the IOCL and Indian Navy to reduce carbon footprint, improve air quality and achieve the national environmental goals.

An MOU has been signed between IOCL and Indian Navy, under which IOCL has undertaken to provide the Hydrogen Fuel Cell Bus to the Indian Navy, for running and trial purposes.
