The Ministry of Finance said that gross enrollments during the last financial year have crossed over one crore thirty five lakh subscribers, marking the highest-ever enrollments recorded in a single financial year since the inception of the scheme.

The Atal Pension Yojana was launched in the year 2015, with the vision of establishing a universal social security system for all Indians. The scheme is a voluntary, contributory pension scheme primarily focused on the poor, the underprivileged, and workers in the unorganized sector.
