IIPA Launches Innovative Online Courses on Population Dynamics and Parliamentary Procedures

The Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) recently launched its new online course titled “Dynamics and its Implications for Public Policy” at the IIPA GOT. The course, developed in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and CYSD, Bhubaneswar, aims to dispel myths surrounding population dynamics in India. The launch event was graced by Shri Saurabh Garg, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Government of India; Ms. Andrea Wojner, India Chief, UNFPA; and Shri SN Tripathi, DG, IIPA.

In addition to the population dynamics course, IIPA also kicked off a pioneering course on Parliamentary Procedures, Disciplinary Proceedings, and more, in collaboration with the National Academy of Human Resource Development. This course is a first for IIPA, offering a unique blend of participants from senior public sector officials, financial institutions like SEBI, CAG, and the corporate sector. The overwhelming response to this course marks a significant step toward enhancing public administration knowledge across various sectors.

Launch of Online Course on “Population Dynamics and its implications for Public Policy

IIPA introduced a new online course on “Population Dynamics and its Implications for Public Policy” on the iGOT platform. Developed by IIPA in collaboration with UNFPA and CYSD, this course aims to clarify misconceptions about population dynamics in India for the benefit of policymakers. Shri Saurabh Garg , IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Ms Andrea Wojner , India Chief, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Shri SN Tripathi, DG Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) addressed the participants.

IIPA has also introduced a new course on Parliamentary Procedures and Disciplinary Proceedings, developed with the National Academy of Human Resource Development (NAHRD). This unique course has attracted a diverse group of participants, including senior officials from public sectors and financial institutions, highlighting the growing demand for interdisciplinary training. The positive response indicates a promising future for additional educational offerings in this area.

IIPA organised “Leading with Excellence’ Programme for Education Administrators

Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) organised Capacity Building Programmes in new and innovative areas like Programme for newly appointed Dy. Directors of Employees State Insurance Corporation (Esic) and “Leading with Excellence’ Programme for Senior Principals of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). In the meantime, another big group of Assistant prosecuting Officers (APOs) of Bihar commenced their Programme at Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA).

The occasion was graced by Shri K. K. Pathak, Director General, Bihar Institute of Public Administration & Rural Development, BIPARD Gaya and Addl. Chief Secretary (ACS), Revenue and Land Reforms, Govt. of Bihar.
