Bengaluru, September 16, 2024: Continuing their robust performance throughout the race, the Indian duo, Kavin Quintal and Mohsin Paramban of IDEMITSU Honda Racing India team, tackled challenges in Race 2 of Round 5 of 2024 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship in Malaysia.

After securing a point for the team in yesterday’s race, Chennai’s Kavin Quintal started strong from the 18th position in today’s race, fiercely competing with other international riders. Despite tough competition and extreme weather conditions, Kavin maintained his pace and advanced to 16^th position. With consistent performance, he finished today’s race in 16^th position with a total time of 20:02.086.

In today’s demanding race, Mohsin Paramban displayed resilience, holding his own against other international riders. Starting from 21^st on the grid, Mohsin remained calm and advanced carefully. Drawing on his past experience, he tackled the challenges and crossed the chequered flag in 23^rd position. He completed the race with a total time of 20:25.709.

Despite the intense competition and challenging weather conditions today, both riders demonstrated strong determination but, unfortunately, were unable to secure any points for the team. The team concluded this round with a total of 13 points for the season in the Asia Production 250cc (AP250) class.

Following a tough third round, the competition intensifies as India’s promising young riders battle it out on the track. As the second–last round approaches, the young guns are ready to display their skills and determination to emerge as the next generation of racing guns.

The previous round saw a great display of racing prowess in the NSF250R Open Class. In Race-2, Siddesh Sawant clinched the first position, displaying remarkable consistency and control that came with previous experiences. Savion Sabu finished a close second, pushing the pace throughout the race, while Beedani Rajender secured the third position.

The upcoming round in Chennai will be another action-packed racing spectacle filled with high-speed and intense competition. The IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup NSF250R will have the grid of 11 young guns riding on the Moto3 race machine platform – NSF250R including a female rider of Honda Racing India – Jagathishree Kumaresan.

 Bengaluru, 05 August 2024: After witnessing an action-packed Race 1 yesterday, the young riders of Honda Racing India displayed an adrenaline-pumping performance in Race 2 of Round 3 of the 2024 IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup NSF250R at Madras International Circuit (MIC, previously known as Madras Motor Race Track) today in Chennai.

With engines revving and hearts racing, young riders displayed their racing prowess on the racetrack today. Race 2 was an amalgamation of action and excitement showcased by Siddesh Sawant, the 22 year old from Kolhapur emerging as the undisputed leader of IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup NSF250R category. He displayed his best skills on the track today and secured the first position with a total race time of 15:11.679 for 8 laps. He executed strategic maneuvers overtaking the other riders with precision, skill, and perfect timing.

Following closely was Savion Sabu, the 16 year old from Bangalore. From the start of the race, he displayed a strategic approach, pushing his limits and challenging his competitors with every lap. His aggressive racing style, combined with his strategic mind, made him secure the second position with a total race time of 15:14.661.

Finishing at third position was Beedani Rajender, the 19 year old from Hyderabad. His ability to maintain a high pace while strategically overtaking competitors demonstrated his understanding of race dynamics. He completed the 8-lap race with a total time of 15:25.784.

Unfortunately, four riders Mohsin Paramban, Prakash Kamat, Shyam Shundar and Rakshitha S Dave could not finish the race.

Starting strong from the 27th position on the grid, Chennai’s 19-year-old rising star, Kavin Quintal, swiftly moved up after the first lap and maintained consistency throughout the race. Leveraging his experience and executing strategic moves effectively, he gave tough competition to international riders and continued to elevate his performance despite an injury. He finished the race at 19^th position with a total time of 18:37.226.

Kavin’s teammate, Mohsin Paramban from Mallapuram, started today’s race from 21^st on the grid and delivered a good performance on international soil. He maintained consistency throughout the race, navigating the track and crossing the chequered flag at 22^nd position with a total time of 18:44.784.

Both riders from Honda Racing India team showcased true dedication with their performance, but unfortunately, they could not secure any points for the team in Race 1 of Round 4.

After securing valuable points for the team in race 1 yesterday, the Indian duo, Kavin Quintal and Mohsin Paramban, faced the challenges well and maintained steadiness in today’s race, but unfortunately, they couldn’t bag any points for the team.

In Race 2, Mohsin Paramban utilized his skills well to secure the position. Starting 20th on the grid, Mohsin remained consistent throughout the race. He applied his experience effectively and remained competitive among all the international riders. Executing strategic moves, he throttled well and finished the race in 17th position with a total time of 22’20.928. Unfortunately, he couldn’t earn any points for the team.

On the other hand, young talent Kavin Quintal, who started 18th on the grid, maintained steadiness throughout the race. Demonstrating his resilience and skills, he pushed harder to pose tough competition in this race as well. However, due to some mechanical issues with his machine, he had to leave the track in the 6th lap.
