Mumbai, August 20, 2026: Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research (WeSchool) has launched ‘Aarogya WeChaar’, a biannual e-newsletter by its PGDM Healthcare Program, aimed at creating a meaningful platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange and thought leadership across the healthcare ecosystem.

Conceived as a bridge between academia and the healthcare industry, Aarogya WeChaar brings together diverse perspectives from healthcare leaders, practitioners, policymakers, academicians, researchers, alumni, faculty and students. The platform seeks to facilitate informed conversations around emerging developments in healthcare, while encouraging evidence-based thinking, innovative practices and stronger industry-academia collaboration.

The inaugural edition features a curated collection of expert viewpoints, alumni contributions, student perspectives, faculty insights, articles and program highlights, offering a multi-dimensional view of healthcare management and the evolving needs of the sector. Through these diverse voices, the newsletter reflects WeSchool’s focus on nurturing future-ready healthcare management professionals and creating opportunities for knowledge sharing beyond the classroom.

Starting with its second edition, Aarogya WeChaar will adopt a contemporary theme for every issue, allowing for a deeper exploration of critical developments and emerging priorities within healthcare. Each themed edition will bring together expert opinions, research insights, policy perspectives, industry experiences and best practices, making the platform a relevant knowledge resource for healthcare professionals, management practitioners, policymakers, researchers and academicians.

The meetup was thoughtfully curated to encourage meaningful interactions and practical industry exposure. Faculty members from Welingkar Institute of Management actively represented the institution throughout the day by participating in discussions, workshops, and networking sessions centered around healthcare innovation and emerging trends shaping the industry.

Further strengthening the institution’s participation, five students from the PGDM Healthcare Management programme attended the evening sessions: Anviti Kulshrestha, Yash Singh, Varunraj Gharge, Varun Bothe, and Swastik Khade.
