On Independence Day 2024, “The Cottage” joined the nation in celebrating with a series of patriotic activities. Shri Manoj Lal, Managing Director of the Central Cottage Industries Corporation Ltd (CCIC), hoisted the National Flag to honor the nation’s spirit.

The event featured several activities, including the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, a painting competition among employees, and a special initiative titled “एक पेड़ माँ के नाम” (A Tree in Mother’s Name). Employees also participated in a selfie campaign with a cutout of Prime Minister Modi.

During his address, Shri Manoj Lal emphasized the importance of every employee’s contribution towards making CCIC a self-sustaining corporation. The celebrations reflected the corporation’s dedication to the nation and its goals.

NTPC Bongaigaon Celebrates 78th Independence Day with Enthusiasm and Unity

NTPC Bongaigaon celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm at the 750 MW power station’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Stadium, embracing the “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Shri Debabrata Kar, General Manager (O&M), followed by a CISF parade inspection. Shri Kar highlighted NTPC Bongaigaon’s achievements, including its highest-ever generation of 5058.1 Million Units in FY 2023-24 and record coal receipt. The celebrations featured cultural performances and CISF demonstrations. Shri Kar awarded the Suraksha Mitra awards to 12 workers for their safety practices. The event was attended by senior officials, employees, and their families, reflecting the station’s commitment to excellence and unity.

The event was graced by the presence of Smt. Sangeeta Singh, President, Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club, Shri Asutosh Biswas, General Manager (Operations), Shri G M Thangzom, Commandant, CISF, Shri Onkar Nath, AGM (HR), Shri Ashish Kumar, Dy. Commandant, CISF Shri M S Kandari, Asst. Commandant, CISF along with HODs of various departments, union and association members, welfare bodies and other senior officials of the station.

The Government of India celebrated Har Ghar Tiranga Program from 11th August – 15 August, 2022. Under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav year, the Government of India under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister is celebrating the event at 400 iconic sites across the country.

Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India in collaboration with Uttar Pradesh State Government celebrated the Har Ghar Tiranga Program at Jhalkari Bai Statue, Agra, Uttar Pradesh on 15th August, 2022.

Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, Hon’ble Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India graced the event with his presence as Chief Guest in august presence of various Dignitaries. Hon’ble Minister of State, FAHD hoisted the National Flag at Jhalkari Bai Statue, Agra, Uttar Pradesh and felicitated the family members of Martyrs/Freedom Fighters. The Minister motivated people to actively participate in Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign.
