Bengaluru, 17 September 2025: The Security Solutions business of Godrej Enterprises Group today announced that it has become the first in the Physical security industry to receive the prestigious GreenPro certification for its lockers. This milestone reflects the brand’s deep commitment to delivering eco-conscious, high-security solutions that meet the evolving expectations of environmentally aware customers. The Sustainability ideology is embedded right from product design to manufacturing, supply chain upto the disposal stage. The business is thus ensuring that its customers don’t have to choose between safety and sustainability.

The GreenPro certification is granted based on stringent criteria including procurement strategy, manufacturing processes such as renewable energy use and water recycling, material sourcing from certified green vendors, eco-friendly packaging, recyclability and end-of-life management. The certification is renewed every two years, ensuring that products consistently meet the carbon emission criteria defined under the category.

The Security Solutions business has adopted multiple practices to qualify for this certification. On the product front, the company has aligned product design with its Eco Vision & Green Policy, and placed emphasis on product stewardship and life cycle aspects. It has transitioned from high energy-intensive barriers to environment friendly high strength barriers. Within its manufacturing plants, the company has implemented measures for energy efficiency, water conservation, greenhouse gas mitigation, waste management, material conservation and recycling, while also advancing a green supply chain, fostering environmental innovation, and adopting green infrastructure and ecology initiatives.

The GreenPro certification has been awarded to their product offerings like the Strong Room Doors (CLASS  C & B), High Security Class A Safes, it’s range of Home Lockers and Safe Deposit Locker Cabinets. ~ Tata Agrico is Tata Steel’s oldest brand in the agricultural tools segment ~

Bengaluru, August 19, 2025: Tata Agrico, Tata Steel’s oldest brand in the agricultural tools segment, has been awarded the prestigious GreenPro Certification for its range of agricultural tools, making it the first brand to receive this recognition in the Indian agriculture sector.

The GreenPro Certification conferred by the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) Green Products and Services Council acknowledges Tata Agrico’s commitment to promoting sustainable and environmentally responsible agricultural tools. The certification was presented to Tata Steel at an event held in Chennai on August 13, 2025, in the presence of industry leaders, sustainability experts, and dignitaries from CII.

The GreenPro Certification is a Type-I eco-label that helps customers choose products that meet strict environmental performance standards. Products certified under this programme undergo rigorous evaluation process covering raw material sourcing, manufacturing processes, product performance, recycling potential, and overall environmental impact.

This certification will strengthen Tata Agrico’s leadership in the agri-tool industry by integrating sustainability with product innovation. Farmers and dealers of farm implements across India can now benefit from tools that are both durable and environmentally sustainable, thus supporting India’s shift towards sustainable agriculture.
