										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>NEYVELI.</strong> Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli relinquished the office of the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of NLC India Limited (NLCIL) on June 30, 2026, upon the successful completion of his tenure. Having assumed charge on January 12, 2023, his three and a half years at the helm marked a highly transformative phase for the company. Through visionary leadership and strategic direction, he guided NLCIL to new milestones across its mining, power generation, and renewable energy sectors, significantly enhancing operational performance, financial strength, and project execution.</p>
<p>Under his leadership, NLCIL aggressively expanded its green footprint by launching initiatives in Green Hydrogen, Battery Energy Storage Systems, and Pumped Storage Projects, while also venturing into the critical minerals sector to secure long-term assets. This clear focus on sustainable growth and energy transition resulted in an unprecedented rise in market capitalization, reflecting deeply reinforced trust from investors, financial institutions, and business partners. Long-pending projects were expedited, and a strong culture of project management excellence, mine productivity, and digital transformation was successfully established.</p>
<p>Beyond business growth, Shri Motupalli emphasized safety, environmental sustainability, employee welfare, and community development. His dedication to fostering a safety-first culture and team innovation boosted workforce morale and earned the company numerous prestigious national and international accolades. In his farewell address, he expressed deep gratitude to the workforce and voiced his absolute confidence that NLCIL&#8217;s strong institutional foundation would enable it to continue driving India&#8217;s energy security and sustainable development under future leadership.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In a significant step towards fostering sustainable energy development and ensuring energy accessibility for all, NHPC Limited, a Navratna enterprise under the Government of India, has signed a ‘Intent for Investment’ Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar. The agreement was formalized during the ongoing Bihar Business Connect 2024 (Global Investor Summit), held in Patna.</p>
<p>The MoU was exchanged between Shri R.K. Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director of NHPC, and Smt. Bandana Preyashi, IAS, Secretary of the Department of Industries, in the presence of distinguished dignitaries including Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha, Hon&#8217;ble Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Hon&#8217;ble Minister of Energy and Planning &amp; Development, and Shri Nitish Mishra, Hon&#8217;ble Minister of the Department of Industries and Tourism.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As part of its plan to position itself as the focal funding agency for energy transition, the Power Finance Corporation Ltd (PFC), executed various MOU of more than ₹ 2.37 Lakh Crore with 20 companies both in public and private sector.</p>
<p>These MoU were signed with Solar, Wind Power, Green Hydrogen, Battery Storage, Electric Vehicle companies as well as the manufacturers of green energy equipment among others in the clean energy space. Adani, Greenco, ReNew, Continuum, Avaada, JBM Auto, Megha Engineering &amp; Infrastructure Limited, Rajasthan Renewable Energy were some of the companies with whom PFC signed the MoU. PFC is a leading financier of Energy Transition in India and these MoU highlight PFC’s commitment to consistently increase its energy transition portfolio and steer Nation’s drive of Energy Transition Goals.</p>
<p>The MoU assume significance in the backdrop of ongoing deliberations on energy transition under India’s G20 presidency.</p>
<p>PFC enjoys the unique advantage of providing funds for longer tenure at competitive rates and taking larger exposures. PFC is looking to fund projects like offshore wind, pumped hydro storage, solar modules and cells, among others in the clean energy space.</p>
<p>The MoU were exchanged in the presence of Smt. Parminder Chopra, Director (Finance) &amp; CMD (Addl. Charge), PFC, Shri Rajiv Ranjan Jha, Director (Projects) and Shri Manoj Sharma, Director (Commercial) at an event held on the side lines of G20 summit in Goa.</p>
<p>PFC recently diversified its loan portfolio by foraying into infrastructure projects such as refineries, ports, roads, metro, biofuels, waste to energy etc.</p>
