मैं उदधव बाला साहेब ठाकरे संविधान का पालन करने की शपथ लेता हूं . ये शपथ खुद राज्यपाल भगत सिंह कोशियारी ने ही दिलाई थी और अब वो खुद ही मुख्यमंत्री को पत्र लिखकर कह रहे हैं कि क्या आप धर्मनिरपेक्ष होने का सवाल कर रहे हैं. समझ नहीं आता कि राजभवन में रहकर राज्यपाल साहेब ने शायद बहुत दिनों से भारत के धर्मनिरपेक्ष होने का पैरा नहीं पढा और वो खुद ही हिंदुत्ववादी होने की सलाह भी दे रहे हैं.

वैसे अगर राज्यपाल साहेब ये मानते है कि भारत अब धर्मनिरपेक्ष नहीं रहा और उसको हिंदुत्ववादी हो जाना चाहिये तो संविधान में बदलाव कर देना चाहिये और किसी भी मुख्यमंत्री को संविधान की शपथ नहीं दिलाना चाहिये . ये तो सीधे सीधे संवैधानिक पद पर बैठे राज्यपाल साहेब अभी अपनी जिम्मेदारी भूल रहे हैं. अगर वो अपना हिंदुतववादी ऐजेंडा चलाना चाहते तो उन्हें पद छोड देना चाहिये .

शिवसेना ने राज्यपाल भगत सिंह कोश्यारी साहेब को सही संदेश दिया कि वो ऐसा कैसे कह सकते हैं. शिवसेना राजनीतिक दल के दौर पर हिंदुत्ववादी है और ये जगजाहिर है .उसका भाजपा की तरह दोहरा चेहरा नहीं है जो हिंदुत्व के सवाल पर बदलती रहती है लेकिन मुख्यमंत्री को तौर पर तो उदधव जी को संविधान का पालन करना ही होगा .एक तरफ खुद प्रधानमंत्री कह रहे है कि महाराष्ट्र में कोरोना का खतरा बढा हुआ है और दूसरी तरफ राज्यपाल साहेब मंदिर खोलने का दवाब बना रहे है .तुर्रा ये कि उत्तराखंड में मंदिर खुल गये. कौन समझाये की मुंबई में अकेले सिदधी विनायक में हर रोज जाने वालो की संख्या ही कई मंदिरो की सामूहिक भीड से ज्यादा होगा खास तौर पर त्यौहारी सीजन में संभालना मुश्किल हो जायेगा .ऐसा नहीं कि सरकार मंदिर खोलने के खिलाफ है लेकिन वो समझदारी से और पूरे एहतियात के साथ करना चाहती है .मुश्किल ये है कि राज्यपाल साहेब पूरी तरह से बीजेपी का ऐजेंडा चला रहे है .ये संयोग नहीं कि राज्यपाल साहेब ने सलाह उस दिन दी जिस दिन बीजेपी मंदिर का आंदोलन करने वाली थी और साथ में पत्र भी बीजेपी नेताओं के ही दिये .

ये प्रकरण राज्यपाल साहेब के लिए उलट साबित हो गया . बीजेपी नेताओं के दवाब में वो चिटठी लिख बैठे और संविधान को ही भूल गये  . अब भी वक्त है कि सभी अपनी अपनी संवैधानिक जिम्मेदारियों को समझें .

Dvendra Fadnavis, addressing the press conference said, “Maybe there was a prior understanding in the Shiv Sena that the party must try to join the Congress and NCP after the results. Our doors for communications have always been open, but the Shiv Sena took a stand of cutting off talks with the BJP but continuing discussions with the Congress and NCP.”

“I will not say anything about Uddhav Thackeray, but the statements being made by the party leaders around him have been disappointing. We also have the ability to reply to all these statements, but that is not what the people expect from us.”

“We have never said anything against Shiv Sena stalwart Bal Thackeray, even when we contested against the party in 2014, but in the last ten days they have made comments against the party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and that is disappointing.

“Shiv Sena is not an Opposition party, but an ally of the BJP in the Centre and the state, and such statements from them are not acceptable to us. Even Congress or any Opposition party has not criticised Modi like the Shiv Sena has in the last ten days.”

Devendra Fadnavis, addressing a press conference amid the power tussle with the Shiv Sena, said that Uddhav Thackeray’s statement on the day of the results when he said that ‘all options were available to form the government’, was “shocking”.

“People have voted for the Mahayuti government together, but now allies are looking for their own interests. I want to make one thing clear about their demand for a rotational chief minister, that I have no knowledge of such an understanding or deal between the two parties. If Uddhav Thackeray has spoken to Amit Shah in my absence, then I am not aware of it.

“Whatever the issues were, they should have been resolved by talks, but that has not happened. In the past five years, there has been mutual respect between the allies, but now Uddhav Thackeray has not taken my calls,” Fadnavis said.

Former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, addressing a press conference soon after submitting his resignation from the post to the Maharashtra governor, said that he was grateful to the electorate and his colleagues for the governance made possible in the first term of the government under him.

He lauded the Cabinet, administration, and officials for the work done for the development of the state, including implementing schemes for roads and the Metro project. He also thanked the BJP’s allies, under the umbrella of Mahayuti alliance which includes the Republican Party of India (RPI).

Mr Raut, who is leaving no stone unturned to come out with a solution on Sena’s demand of 50:50 division of power in the state, shared a popular couplet by poet Wasim Barelvi on Twitter on Sunday, taking a veiled jibe at the BJP. 

The 57-year-old leader wrote: “ऊसूलों पर जहां आंच आये टकराना जरूरी है .जो जिंदा हो तो फिर जिंदा नजर आना जरुरी है.

Meanwhile, Mr Raut along with other senior party leaders is likely to meet Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Monday at 5 pm.

“Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, along with other senior party leaders, is scheduled to meet Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at 5 pm tomorrow,” 

Mr Raut has also said that he will meet the Governor on Sunday and ask him to invite the single largest party to form the government in Maharashtra.

Mr Raut has claimed that Shiv Sena has the support of 170 MLAs and is capable of forming the next government in Maharashtra.

“We have more than 170 MLAs supporting us, the figure can even reach 175,” he had said while addressing a press conference in Mumbai.

The development comes at a time when the BJP and its ally Shiv Sena are engaged in a bitter tug-of-war over the equal distribution of Cabinet portfolios and the term of chief minister’s post for 2.5 years each.

While the BJP is firm on their stand that Devendra Fadnavis will become the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shiv Sena is seeking an equal term for chief minister”s post.

On Sunday, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar had said that Mr Raut dropped a text message to him. “This is the first time after elections that he has contacted me. I do not know why he messaged me. His message reads ”Jai Maharashtra Saheb, I am Sanjay Raut”. I will call him in a while to know about it,” Mr Pawar had said.

The current term of Maharashtra government ends on November 8. State Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar had earlier said the state might head for the President’s rule if the government is not formed before November 7.

The decision was taken days after the government announced election for the Block Development Council, the second tier of the Panchayat Raj system in the state soon.

Asked if the Kashmiri leaders will also be released from detention, Farooq Khan, advisor to Governor Satya  Pal Malik, said, “Yes, one by one after analysis of every person, they will be released,” 

Around 400 political leaders of the state — including former Chief Ministers 83-year-old Farooq Abdullah, his son Omar Abdullah and People’s Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti — were placed under detention or house arrest as the government announce its move to end special status granted to the state under the Article 370 .

It was part of the stringent security measures – that included prohibitory orders and switching of phone and internet facilities — to prevent any backlash of govt steps.
