Sustainability is a recurring theme throughout the series. Most participants (51%) stated that design approach has the greatest impact on sustainability, more than materials or energy efficiency. Furthermore, 86% expressed a strong desire for more sessions focused on sustainable and innovative design practices. Looking ahead, 60% of respondents identified sustainable design as the single most important factor shaping the future of architecture, ranking it above smart technology and community-centered planning. When asked about priorities for the cities of tomorrow, 41% favored the creation of green and open spaces, followed closely by the need for climate-friendly infrastructure—underscoring a collective call for urban environments that balance growth with resilience and well-being.

Under the five-year agreement, Godrej will develop Titanium material-based complex ventilation assemblies for LEAP engines, one of the best-selling commercial aircraft engines in the world.

The LEAP engines, developed by CFM International[1], are powering next-generation narrow-body aircraft. This milestone reinforces Godrej’s commitment to advancing India’s aerospace manufacturing capabilities and aligns with its vision to become a key supplier to global aircraft engine OEMs. The production will involve complex machining, precision welding, and advanced non-destructive testing to meet the stringent standards of civil aviation.

The complex ventilation assemblies, located within the main turbine shaft of the engine require advanced manufacturing precision and stringent quality standards. With this order, Godrej Enterprises Group strengthens its longstanding partnership with Safran and expands its role in supporting global aero-engine programs.

Bengaluru, 12^th August 2025: The Energy Solutions business of Godrej Enterprises Group today announced the successful commissioning of its first solar carport installation at a leading IT company in Noida. This landmark project reflects the Group’s commitment to engineering innovative, sustainable infrastructure that supports India’s renewable energy ambitions and the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.

Spanning 31984 sq. mtr   and equipped with over 1,031 high-efficiency solar panels, the carport is designed to generate approximately 7,31,900 kWh (units) annually. It will offset nearly 6,00,158 kg of CO₂ emissions every year which is equivalent to planting over 27568 mature trees. The dual-purpose structure not only provides shaded parking for 400 vehicles but also transforms underutilised urban spaces into renewable energy hubs.
