Domestic sales in February 2025 were at 23880 units, as against 20121 units during February 2024.

Total tractor sales (Domestic + Exports) during February 2025 were at 25527 units, as against 21672 units for the same period last year. Exports for the month stood at 1647 units.

Commenting on the performance, Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said “We have sold 23880 tractors in the domestic market during February 2025, a growth of 19% over last year. After a good Kharif crop, Rabi crop outlook is also looking positive due to favourable weather conditions. Increase in Agri credit limit, continued Government support to increase farmer incomes and a bumper Rabi harvest will help boost tractor demand going forward. In the exports market we have sold 1647 tractors, at a growth of 6% over last year.”

Domestic sales in December 2024 were at 22019 units, as against 18028 units during December 2023.

Total tractor sales (Domestic + Exports) during December 2024 were at 22943 units, as against 19138 units for the same period last year. Exports for the month stood at 924 units.

Commenting on the performance, Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said “We have sold 22019 tractors in the domestic market during December 2024, a growth of 22% over last year. Sentiments have remained positive in December on account of positive cash flow momentum from Kharif harvest. Additionally, favourable reservoir levels have resulted in strong sowing for the rabi season, further bolstering demand for tractors. Looking ahead,  the tractor industry is poised for significant growth, underpinned by positive agricultural sentiments and favourable terms of trade for farmers. In the exports market, we have sold 924 tractors.”

Domestic sales in November 2024 were at 31746 units, as against 31069 units during November 2023.

Total tractor sales (Domestic + Exports) during November 2024 were at 33378 units, as against 32074 units for the same period last year. Exports for the month stood at 1632 units.

Commenting on the performance, Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said “We have sold 31746 tractors in the domestic market during November 2024, a growth of 2% over last year. With the Kharif harvest season getting completed, farmers are progressing with Rabi sowing. The marginal decline in the industry is due to shift in festive season of Diwali and Dhanteras as compared to the previous year. With very good reservoir levels and higher MSP for key Rabi crops, farmers sentiments are positive and cash flows healthy. Good progress in Rabi sowing and a good Rabi crop is expected to further boost demand for tractors in coming months. In the exports market, we have sold 1632 tractors, a growth of 62% over last year.”
