Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) reinforced its dedication to employee welfare and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by offering 50 new job appointments during a ceremony held on 4th July 2025 at Sankalp Hall, ECL Headquarters.

Of these, 38 appointments were made under the Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R) Policy, while 12 were granted under the Dependent Employment Scheme as per the National Coal Wage Agreement (NCWA). With over 34 years experience, in the coal mining industry and a strong background both in underground and opencast mining, Shri Nair is a distinguished professional in the coal mining industry. He began his career with us in 1990 at our subsidiary, SECL, and has also held various key positions at our subsidiary BCCL over the years.
