Prem Daryanani, an elderly social worker of South Mumbai and head of Radha Kalindas Daryanani Trust, has once again taken the initiative of giving his ownership land to the army. On this land, Maharashtra’s first and countries second Army La College will be expanded.
Prem Daryanani, who has a passion for military service, has donated this for the second time through the trust. Prem Daryanani is known as the largest individual donor to the army on a personal level in the country.

he had donated total Rs 40 crore which included six finished buildings and six acres of land.
With this land and building, Army La College will be expanded and students of second and third year will get the opportunity to study. There are only two colleges for army people in the country. The first one Mohali was built several years ago in Chandigarh, while the second college was built in Kanhe village near Poona in collaboration with Daryaani Trust. It has already had a successful year of operation.
The program of Bhoomipujan of the second phase of La College was completed by GOC IN CHIEF Lt. Gen. SK Saini of Southern Command. AVSM,YSM,VSM . Several officers of Southern Command were present on this occasion. Lieutenant General Saini said on this occasion that the army is always ready for the country and in this way the morale of the army increases manifold by the common people joining hands with the army. He thanked Prem Daryani and Trust for helping the army and said that more people like this Should come forward

Prem Daryanani believes that the courage of the Indian army who sacrificed for the country is indomitable and incomparable. We citizens also have a responsibility to contribute for them. It is only in this spirit that it is time for the common public to become aware of this. It is our duty that we stand with the soldiers and their families. Every Indian, whether individual or corporate or social organisation, has an obligation to imbibe the spirit of being connected with the Indian Army so that the Army is confident that The entire country is united with him.

PPL together with Feeding India has started serving surplus food to needy children around IGI Airport’s T1 Lounge. Now, with the success of the first phase, the plan is to redirect the excess food from the other lounges too. There remains a surplus amount of food that can be of great help to feed the undernourished segments of society. Although, it has started from T1, but they soon plan to expand to all the terminals in Delhi, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.

Presently, the food is picked straight from the kitchen of IGI Airport -T1 by the Feeding India Hunger Heros during lunch hours after a thorough scrutiny of food safety including safety and hygiene, afterwards, it is delivered to the children of Delhi in need, within a stipulated time, to keep  its freshness.

“We are enthralled to collaborate along with Plaza Premium Lounge in this mission to eradicate hunger and poverty. With the help of Feeding India’s Magic Wheels (food recovery vehicles), the entire process is managed end-to-end wherein the food from all the lounges is collected and donated to the people in need. This idea ensures almost zero food wastage and supports all those who cannot get a supply of adequate or regular access to fresh and healthy food. Feeding India serves over 1.1 million people a day. Food delivery platform Zomato has acquired Feeding India, a non-profit organisation with an aim to serve at least 100 million underprivileged people every month. Plaza Premium Lounge is a part of this noble cause and determined to serve people who have little or no access to food.
