Shri Amit Shah releases the action plan for the formation of 1100 new FPOs by PACS

Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah inaugurated the National Mega Conclave on FPO in the cooperative sector and released the action plan for the formation of 1100 new FPOs by PACS in New Delhi today
Shri Shah said that he said that if PACS becomes an FPO, then the benefits of FPO will reach to all the farmers of PACS. He said that FPOs formed through PACS have the maximum potential to make the farmers prosperous.
Shri Amit Shah said that the magnitude of this initiative is that today 11,770 FPOs are working in the country and through these and through these, lakhs of farmers of the country have been successful in increasing their income. He said that it was announced in the budget to set up 10,000 FPOs and the target is to achieve this by the year 2027. He said that under the leadership of Shri Modi, the Government of India has allocated Rs 6900 crore to achieve this goal.

The Push for Green Energy at Indian Airports

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) wants most airports in the country to be fully reliant on green energy by 2024 and Net Zero by 2030

India currently has more than 140 airports, and that number is set to rise to 230 by the end of this decade. According to the AAI, more than 40 airports in India have transitioned to using 100% renewable energy, and the country’s top two busiest airports – Delhi and Mumbai – are among them. Delhi Airport was the first in the country to use a combination of hydro and solar power for 100% energy, while Mumbai uses hydro, solar, and wind power.

He said, as the first overseas office of HAL, it symbolizes the potential for closer defence industrial collaboration between India and Malaysia and also, the South East Asian Region.

Civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia to inaugurate India’s first elevated cross taxiway at Delhi’s IGI Airport on July 13

Delhi International Airport (DEL) operator DIAL announced that the fourth runway and elevated eastern cross taxiway (ECT) at Delhi Airport will be operational starting July 13.This development aims to streamline air traffic and improve efficiency for incoming and outgoing flights. Further, Indian civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia Ji will inaugurate them.

The taxiing duration will be reduced to a mere seven minutes, compared to the current 12-15 minutes. This improvement will facilitate faster connectivity and smoother passenger transfers within the airport.

Gurugram: Indian real estate market has seen a remarkable upsurge in the sale of mid-segment and premium segment, with mid-segment homes increasing from 35% in the first half of 2022 to 38% this year and while premium homes have increased from 25% to 30% as the recent study report by Knight Frank.

The data in the report demonstrates a significant surge in demand for mid-segment and premium homes, reaching the highest levels seen since 2018. In the first half of 2023, 59,563 unit of mid-segment homes and 47,130 units of premium homes were sold, showcasing substantial growth compared to the previous year.

Delhi Airport: Dual Elevated Eastern Cross Taxiways, 4th runway to be operational from July 13, 2023

The dual elevated Eastern Cross taxiway and the fourth runway at the airport in the national capital will be operational from July 13, a senior official said on Friday. The Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in the national capital now has three runways. With the Eastern Cross Taxiways (ECT), the distance an aircraft has to travel after landing on the third runway and traveling to Terminal 1 will now be reduced from 9 kms to 2 kms.

This will also reduce the time passengers spend on the road before and after take off and landing. GMR Group Deputy Managing Director I Prabhakar Rao said on Friday that the fourth runway and ECT would be operational from July 13. Bharat times
