The awareness programme attracted the attention of shoppers and visitors, using an engaging and satirical performance to deliver the message of keeping public spaces clean and adopting responsible civic behaviour.

The Nukkad Natak highlighted the importance of maintaining clean surroundings and practising good hygiene in everyday life. Through entertaining performances and relatable situations, the actors encouraged people to make cleanliness a daily habit rather than a one-time effort.

A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for the project was signed on July 2, 2026, at REC Limited’s Corporate Office in Gurugram between Shri L. B. Nautiyal, HoD (CSR), REC Limited, and Shri B. Vinod Kumar, Director, Indo German Institute of Advanced Technology (IGIAT). The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Shri Arun Kumar Tyagi, Executive Director (CSR), REC Limited, and other officials from REC Limited and IGIAT.

Through its CSR initiatives, REC Limited continues to make meaningful investments in education, healthcare, skill development, environmental sustainability, and community development, contributing to inclusive and sustainable socio-economic growth across the country.

Poornima holds profound spiritual significance in the Hindu calendar, symbolizing peace, prosperity, and selfless service. Aligned with these timeless values, Bikanervala Bangalore embraced the sacred principle of “Annadanam Mahadanam”—the belief that feeding the hungry is the highest form of charity—by serving freshly prepared, nutritious meals to more than 500 underprivileged people.

Nourishing the Body and Soul:

The food distribution drive, which took place between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, saw a joyful turnout of poor women, children & the old. Prioritizing hygiene, quality, and taste, the culinary experts at Bikanervala curated a traditional, wholesome menu that resonated deeply with the values of the company.

The beneficiaries were served a hearty spread consisting of fluffy, golden Puris, a rich and savory Mixed Vegetable Curry, a fragrant Vegetable Pulao accompanied by a refreshing Pachadi and a traditional sweet finale of rich Besan Chakki along with Clean, packaged Drinking Water

Both scholars have established themselves as dominant forces in Indian swimming, representing Maharashtra with distinction. Ms. Saanvi Deshwal, based in Mumbai, is a national record holder in multiple events and holds the distinction of being the youngest national champion at the Senior Nationals, specializing in individual medley and breaststroke. Meanwhile, Ms. Anvi Deshwal has emerged as a top-tier talent in the freestyle and backstroke categories, consistently securing medals across the Senior Nationals, National Games, Junior Nationals, and School Nationals. This interaction highlights EIL’s continued commitment to fostering young athletic talent and driving national sports development through its corporate scholarship initiatives.

Bengaluru, 24 June 2026: ACC, along with the Adani Foundation is creating pathways to livelihood and economic independence for persons with disabilities through its Adani Skill Development Centre (ASDC) at its Thondebhavi plant.

For years, Channamma K.S., 36-year-old woman with a physical disability and speech disorder, carried a determination that far exceeded the opportunities available to her. She had worked hard to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree, hoping education would open the door to meaningful employment. Yet despite her qualifications, finding a job proved to be difficult.

At home, Channamma relied on the support of her family. Her father worked as a farmer and her brother earned a living as a daily wage labourer. While they stood by her through every challenge, she wanted the chance to contribute financially and build a life defined by independence.

Her turning point came when she enrolled in the Saksham programme at the Adani Skill Development Centre (ASDC). Over the course of three months, she received training designed to strengthen her employability, workplace readiness and confidence. This programme equipped her with practical skills while helping her navigate the challenges that had previously limited her access to opportunities.

As her capabilities grew, so did her confidence. With the support of the programme and guidance from the ASDC team, Channamma successfully secured employment as a back-end executive in Marathahalli. Today, she earns Rs. 15,000 per month and receives free food and accommodation, providing her with both financial security and professional stability.

Reflecting on her journey, Channamma says, “ASDC gave me the skills and confidence I needed.”

For Channamma, this job along with a steady income is a testament to her resilience, determination and belief in her own potential. Adani Foundation at ACC Thondebhavi, demonstrates how targeted skill development and inclusive opportunities can help individuals overcome barriers and participate more fully in the workforce.

A key milestone of the initiative was the flagging off of a 40-seater school bus on 19 June 2026 by Sh. Jitendra Srivastava, CMD, REC Ltd, in the presence of Joint Secretary, Transmission, Ministry of Power, GoI; Sh. Prince Dhawan, CEO, RECPDCL and distinguished key officials of the UT Administration of Ladakh and  Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil.

By establishing safe, reliable, and consistent transportation, the newly deployed school bus aims to bridge geographical gaps for youth in the rugged terrain, bringing children closer to essential learning opportunities and a brighter academic future.

This infrastructure support underscores RECPDCL’s core mission to empower remote and underserved communities through sustainable, impactful development.

To further spread the message of cleanliness and civic responsibility, POWERGRID organized a *Nukkad Natak* (street play) to engage the public and create awareness about sanitation and environmental stewardship. The observance reflects the organization’s broader commitment to sustainable development and community participation. As of 30 May 2026, POWERGRID operates 291 substations, over 185,102 circuit kilometres of transmission lines, and 628,516 MVA of transformation capacity. Leveraging advanced technologies, automation, and digital solutions, the company continues to maintain an average transmission system availability of more than 99.78%, underscoring its leadership in India’s power transmission sector.

The team of doctors of RSP who examined the patients were Dr. Sonia Joshi, (Opthalmology), Dr. Goutam Das (ENT), Dr. Manoj Kumar Pradhan (Surgery), Dr. Manabhanjan Mund (Pediatrics), Dr. Divya (O&G), Dr. Leeza Deo (Dental), and Dr. Nilakantha Sahoo (Medicine). They were assisted by Ms. Mousumi Kishan, Ms. Bhagyashree, Ms. Sasmita Oram, Miss Purnima Thakur and Mr. B K Mohapatra, CSR Coordinator.

261 patients were examined in the camp and were provided free medicines and consultation. Besides, 5 patients were identified for further treatment at Ispat General Hospital under various CSR schemes.

It is worth mentioning here that the Medical camps are being organised by RSP in peripheral villages not only reach out to the people living in remote villages but also extend expensive surgical interventions for free treatment at IGH to the identified people suffering from grave ailments.
