Cong respects regional parties : RAGA

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said his party respects regional outfits and does not want to be “the Big Daddy” while asserting that the fight against the BJP will be a “group effort”

During an interactive session at the ‘Ideas for India’ conference in London, he made a scathing attack on the BJP government alleging the “deep state” in India is attacking institutions and capturing them such as the media

Alleging that people’s voices are being stifled, Gandhi said the Congress will reach out to the masses and fight to save ‘the idea of India’

The former Congress chief asserted his party will coordinate with regional outfits to launch a nationwide movement against the ruling dispensation and will reach out to the people in a big way

“We have to coordinate with our friends in the opposition. I don’t view the Congress as the ‘Big Daddy’. It is a group effort with the opposition. But it is a fight to regain India,” he said at the conclave

A video of the event was released by the Congress on Saturday

“The point I made in Udaipur, which was misconstrued, is that this is an ideological battle now. It is a national ideological battle, which means that of course we respect the DMK as a Tamil political organisation, but the Congress is the party that has the ideology at the national level,” Gandhi said

So, the Congress will have to think about itself as a structure that is enabling the opposition, he said during the hour-long interaction

“In no way is the Congress superior to the other opposition parties, we are all fighting the same battle. They have their space, we have ours, but an ideological battle is taking place is between the national vision of the RSS and that of the Congress,” Gandhi added

Gandhi’s remarks on regional parties, which came in the presence of opposition leaders like Sitaram Yechury and Tejashvi Yadav, are in contrast to his comments at the Congress’ three-day ‘Chintan Shivir’ in Udaipur

There he had said that it is only the Congress that can fight the BJP at the national level and regional outfits cannot fight this battle as they do not have an ideology

No Hearing in Varanasi Court Today

The Supreme Court will hear the Gyanvapi matter tomorrow. The apex court has stayed proceedings in lower courts, which effectively means the Varanasi court, which was due to hear the matter today after the official survey report was submitted, will not hear the case today.

meanwhile Court commissioner Vishal Singh submitted the survey report in the Gyanvapi case before the court. The report is in a sealed cover and it has been presented in the court of Ravi Kumar Diwakar. Meanwhile, sources said the report mentions ‘Hindu engravings, idols and symbols’ found in the mosque.

Union Minister Kaushal Kishore commenting on the Gyanvapi has said ‘pooja’ should begin at the place where the Shivling has been found. “Where a shivling has been found, its meant that is a temple place only,” he said.

The court will also decide on multiple applications moved by the parties concerned. These include:

-Application by DGC to to ensure wazu facilities and proper arrangements for the Muslims coming for namaz at gyanvapi. The application asks the court to relook into its order ceiling the wazu pond area where the Hindu side has claimed that a Shivling has been found.

-The Other petitions include those by two sadhvi’s seeking right to worship of the claimed Shivling. One petition also fix to clear the wall and the debris in front of the Nandi located opposite the iron grill so that more evidence could be collected.

-A new application was filed in court on Wednesday seeking orders for submission of the survey done on May 6th and 7th under former advocate Commissioner Ajay Kumar Mishra Mishra was sacked from the post of Commissioner following complaints on 17th of May.

-Now as all eyes remain on the Commission report to be submitted By Vishal singh and Ajay Singh, it will be interesting to see what the Survey says about the structure that has been claimed as a Shivling by the Hindu side and a fountain by the Muslim side. The survey was done after the court orders during hearing of the petition filed by five Hindu women seeking right to worship Maha Shringar Gauri on the daily basis.

Amid the Gyanvapi mosque row, prominent Muslim organisation Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind on Wednesday appealed to the people, specially members of the community, not to hit the streets over the issue and avoid all kind of public demonstrations. The Gyanvapi mosque is adjacent to the iconic Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi and a local court is hearing a plea by a group of five Hindu women seeking the court’s permission for daily prayers before the idols on its outer walls. In a statement, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind president Maulana Mahmood Madani said some “mischievous elements and biased media” are trying to create strife between the two communities by fanning religious emotions. In such a situation, the Jamiat appeals to all the people of India, specially Indian Muslims, that they should not hit streets over the issue of the Gyanvapi mosque and all kinds of public demonstrations should be avoided, it said

हार्दिक गये नहीं भगाये गये कांग्रेस से

गुजरात कांग्रेस के कार्याध्यक्ष होकर भी पार्टी से ऐन चुनाव से पहले पाटीदार नेता हार्दिक पटेल ने कांग्रेस से इस्तीफा अपने मन से नहीं मजबूरी में दिया है .असल में वो कांग्रेस से गये नहीं गुजरात कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने ही उनको कांग्रेस से भगा दिया और आखिरी कील मारी थी खुद कांग्रेस में अपनी जगह खो देने वाले रणनीतीकार प्रशांत किशोर ने ..

अंदर की कहानी ये है कि हार्दिक पटेल जब से कार्याध्यक्ष बनाये गये उसके बाद से ही कांग्रेस में खुद को अकेला पा रहे थे लेकिन उनकी मुश्किलें पिछले साल उस समय से और बढ़ गयी जब लोकल बाडी चुनाव में उनके समर्थकों को टिकट ही नही दिया गया. सबसे बड़ा झगड़ा हुआ सूरत में टिकट को लेकर जब उस समय के गुजरात प्रभारी और अब दिवंगत राजीव सातव ने अपने तरीके से हार्दिक को साइडलाइन करना शुरु किया . करोना काल में केवल सातीव ही ऐसे कांग्रेसी थे जो लगातार राहुल गांधी से मिल रहे थे . राजीव सातव ,के सी वेणुगोपाल और शक्तिसिंह गोहिल की तिकड़ी ने राहुल गांधी के ऐसे कान भरे कि राहुल ने हार्दिक को तरजीह देना बंद कर दिया .इसके बाद हार्दिक ने प्रियंका गांधी से करीबी बढाने की अपील की लेकिन वो भी हार्दिक को न्याय नहीं दिला सकी और आखिर में जब चार महीने पहले से प्रशांत किशोर ने सलाह देना शुरु किया तो राहुल को ये समझा दिया कि हार्दिक की कोई बखत नहीं और प्रशांत किशोर ने खोडियार धाम के प्रमुख नरेश पटेल जो खुद भी पाटीदारों के नेता है उनको बढाया .हार्दिक को लग गया कि अगर नरेश पटेल कांग्रेस में आ गये तो पाटीदारों के नेता नरेश पटेल होंगे हार्दिक नहीं .आखिरकार कांग्रेस की आपसी खींचतान के बीच दो महीने पहले जब बीजेपी के एक बड़े नेता ने हार्दिक से संपर्क किया तो हार्दिक को कांग्रेस छोड़ने के फायदे बताये गये . फिर हार्दिक के ऊपर चल रहे केस हटना शुरु हो गये और उनके जाने की भूमिका बन गयी. ये तभी हो गया था कि हार्दिक जायेंगे लेकिन राहुल ने ये अवसर भी गंवा दिया.

हार्दिक भले जा रहे थे लेकिन राहुल को सार्वजनिक तौर पर उनको बुलाकर मिलना चाहिये था और ये दिखाना था कि कांग्रेस को हार्दिक की जरुरत है और तब हार्दिक जाते तो कहने को हो जाता कि वो तो बीजेपी के ट्रेप में चले गये . तब हार्दिक उपेक्षा का आरोपभी नहीं लगा पाते लेकिन राहुल के दरबार की हालत ये है कि कोई भी तेजतर्रार नेता को उनके दरबारी टिकने ही नहीं देते. आसाम के हेमंत विश्वशर्मा से लेकर हार्दिक तक ये फेरहिस्त लंबी है.

अब जाहिर है गुजरात चुनाव में कांग्रेस की मुश्किलों काअंत नहीं . एक तरफ तो अहमद पटेल जैसा अनुभवी नेता नहीं दूसरा अब कांग्रेस के पास कोई बड़ा चेहरा नहीं जिसकी दम पर वो सरकार बनाने का विकल्प भी दे सके . नरेश पटेल आ गये तो अलग बात लेकिन पार्टी की अंदरुनी लड़ाई तो उनका भी रास्ता रोक सकती है. .

Ex-Punjab Cong Chief Sunil Jakhar Quits

Punjab Congress former chief Sunil Jakhar on Saturday resigned from the party, hours after removing all references to the Congress from his social media handles. Jakhar had been upset with the Congress leadership ever since the party took action against him for alleged anti-party activities.

The party decided to remove Jakhar from all party posts for two years a fortnight ago on the recommendation of the disciplinary action committee. The Congress leader had since then been considering his political options.

Earlier on Saturday, he went live on Facebook with his ‘dil ki baat’, following which he dropped Congress from his social media handles.

Jakhar had accused the Congress high command of listening to a certain Punjab leader on the matter of the CM’s appointment after Captain Amarinder Singh’s departure. He said even after three generations of his family had served in Congress for 50 years, he was “stripped of all party posts” for “not toeing the party line.”

In March, Jakhar had called former chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi a liability for the party after the Congress had lost to the Aam Aadmi Party in the Assembly elections. “Not the top brass, but his [Channi’s] own greed pulled him and the party down,” Jakhar had said in a tweet.

Some party leaders, including former minister Raj Kumar Verka, had demanded action against him after accusing Jakhar of using objectionable language against Channi and the scheduled caste community during a TV interview. But Jakhar had rejected the charge saying his statement was twisted and taken out of context

Supreme Court puts sedition law on hold

The Supreme Court put a stay on the sedition law and ruled that no new FIRs will be lodged under this sedition law until the Centre reexamines the provisions of this British-era law, which has been challenged in the Supreme Court. Dictating the order, Chief Justice of India NV Ramana said it will be appropriate to not use the law while those already booked under Section 124A of the Indian Penal Code and are in jail can approach the courts for relief. “We hope and expect that Centre and states will restrain from registering fresh FIRs under Section 124A (sedition) of IPC,” the order said.

The apex court issued the order a day after it asked the Centre whether the pending sedition cases can be kept in abeyance. The Centre on Wednesday informed the Supreme Court that staying provision of the sedition law may not be a correct approach. Instead, the Centre can ask the states that only a police officer of the rank of SP or above must record in writing the reasons and compliance with the SC judgment in the Vinod Dua case before a fresh sedition case is to be lodged. There has to be a responsible officer for scrutiny and his satisfaction is subject to judicial review, solicitor general Tushar Mehta said.

No new FIRs will be filed for sedition and all pending cases will be on hold while the government reconsiders the law, the Supreme Court said, referring to petitions that challenged the law alleging its misuse in cases like in Maharashtra, where it was invoked over the chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa.

“It is clear that Centre agrees that the rigours of (sedition) are not in tune with the current situation. It will be appropriate not to use this provision of law till further re-examination is over. We hope and expect that centre and state will desist from registering any FIR under 124 A (sedition law) or initiate proceeding under the same till re-examination is over,” said Chief Justice NV Ramana.

If any fresh cases are filed, those charged can approach the court. “The Union of India is at liberty to pass directives to states to prevent misuse of the law,” the Chief Justice added.

In a sharp reaction, Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju said: “We respect each other, the court should respect government, legislature and the government should also respect the court. We have clear demarcation of boundary and that Lakshman Rekha should not be crossed by anybody.”

अब क्रिकेट नहीं हाकी का खेल बन गया है चुनाव

इन दिनों देश भर के तमाम चुनाव प्रोफेशनल हारी हुयी पार्टियों को सलाह देने में लगी है . कांग्रेस के नेता भी पीके के सामने हाथ जोड़ कर खड़े है कि वो कोई ऐसी जुगत बतायेंगे जिससे कांग्रेस की डूबती नैया पार लग जायेगी. पीके यानि प्रशांत किशोर ने अपने पुराने अंदाज में आंकड़ों के सहारे करीब 600 स्लाइड्स का प्रेजेंटेशन देकर कांग्रेस नेताओं को समझाने की कोशिश की है कि किस तरह 2024 की तैयारी की जाये . लेकिन असल सवाल तो कांग्रेस से जु़ड़ा जमीन का कार्यकर्ता पूछ रहा है कि कागजों पर रणनीती तो बना लोगे लेकिन काम करने वाले कार्यकर्ता कहां से लाओगे . नहीं तो यूपी की तरह ही हाल हो जायेगा और जहां पार्टी सबसे बड़ी थी वो अब एक सीट पर ही रह गयी है.
इन दिनों सभी ये जानने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं कि आखिर ऐसा क्या है जिससे बीजेपी चुनाव जीत जाती है. मेरी छोटी सी राजनीतिक समझ यही कहती है कि असल में बीजेपी ने चुनाव के खेल के नियम ही नहीं खेल ही बदल दिया है . पहले चुनाव क्रिकेट की तरह होते थे जहां पर चुनाव असल में कुछ बेहतरीन बल्लेबाजों यानि नेताओं की दम पर ही लड़ा जाता था . ये क्षेत्रीय और केन्द्रीय नेता अपनी दम पर ही चुनाव को जीत की तरफ खींच ले जाते थे . नरेंद्र मोदी ने भी 2014 का चुनाव अपने ही दम पर लड़ा और चुनावी जीत तक ले गये . पूरी टीम में अकेले वो ही ऐसे बल्लेबाज रहे जो ओपनिंग से लेकर अंत तक खेलते रहे .. लेकिन पांच साल बाद 2019 का चुनाव आते आते मोदी ने खेल ही बदल दिया .वो टीम के केप्टन तो रहे लेकिन क्रिकेट के बजाय अब वो हाकी के नियमों के हिसाब से खेल रहे हैं जहां पर पूरी बीजेपी मेन टू मेन मार्किंग के हिसाब से खेलती है. बस यही खेल कांग्रेस या बाकी दलों को समझ नहीं आ रहा वो अब भी किसी एक शीर्ष बल्लेबाज के भरोसे गेम जीतना चाहते हैं.
राजनीतिक विश्लेषक के तौर पर अब इस मेन टू मेन मार्किंग वाली हाकी की रणनीती को समझते हैं. इस रणनीति के तहत बीजेपी पहले अपनी टीम को इस तरह लगाती है जहां पर वो सेंटर से लेकर बैकफुट तक मजबूत होती है और उसके बाद के चरण में फारवर्ड को तय करती है. इस रणनीति में अपने हिसाब से खेलने के साथ साथ इस बात पर भी ध्यान देना होता है कि विरोधी किस तरह खेल रहा है . अगर कोई विरोधी ज्यादा तेज खेलता है तो उसे घेरकर उसकी बढ़त रोक दी जाती है . इसी तरह खेल में जीत की तरफ बढ़ते हुए लगातार गेंद को एक दूसरे को पास दिया जाता है यानि लगातार मुददे बदलते रहते हैं जिससे सामने वाले को संभलने का मौका कम ही मिल पाता है और वो बीजेपी के ही बनाये नियमों से केवल डिफेंड खेलता रहता है .
अभी हाल ही में मेरे एक मित्र ने मुझे एक ऐप दिखाया जिसमें कैसे मतदाता की पहचान बिना उसे बताये ही कर ली जाती है. इस ऐप मे सोशल मीडिया के ऐनालिसिस से सबसे पहले पता लगाया जाता है कि उस इलाके के हर मतदाता और उसके परिवार की क्या रुचि है और वो क्या देखता है. फिर मतदाताओं का वितरण समर्थक ,निरपेक्ष और विरोधी में कर दिया जाता है .उसी हिसाब से उनको सोशल मीडिया पर मेसेजिंग की जाती है. यहां तक कि चुनाव के दिन भी समर्थक और निरपेक्ष मतदाता पर जोर दिया जाता है और साथ ही विरोधी मतों को कैसे काटा जाये इस पर ध्यान दिया जाता है. मैने हाल ही में गोवा चुनाव बहुत करीब से देखा बीजेपी शुरुआत में कमजोर विकेट पर थी लेकिन बाद में मेन टू मेन मार्किंग से उसने मतदाताओं का वर्गीकरण किया . अंतिम दिन से ठीक पहले गोवा की एक लोकल पार्टी गोवा रिवोल्यूशनरी की तरफ विरोधी मतों को धकेल दिया .बीजेपी की जीती 20 सीटों में से 10 में अंतर 2000 से भी कम था यानि मतों का सहीं अनुमान और वितरण से बीजेपी जीत गयी जबकि कांग्रेस की बिखरी टीम ये भी नहीं पता लगा पायी कि बीजेपी का चुनाव मैनेजमेंट क्या है.
जाहिर है अब राजनीति के मैदान में उतरने और जमे रहने वाली विरोधी पार्टियों को समझना होगा कि अब खेल के नियम ही नहीं खेल भी बदल चुका है .अब ये केवल एक या दो खिलाडियों का नहीं बल्कि पूरी टीम का पूरे समय तक खेलते रहने का खेल है जिसमें अपने साथ साथ विरोधी को भी उलझाये रखने का तरीका आना चाहिये .जाहिर है केवल किसी बाहरी कोच के भरोसे टीम नहीं जीत सकती टीम को खुद भी बदलना होगा .

UP records 60.51% voter turnout

Polling for the first phase of assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh ended at 6 pm on Thursday, with the state recording a voting turnout of 60.51 per cent. Even as the overall voting process remained peaceful, there were reports of a technical error in EVMs at a few places. As many as 623 candidates were in the fray and around 2.27 crore people were eligible to vote in this phase in which a total of 58 constituencies spread across 11 districts in the western belt of the state went to polls.

Prime Minister MODI , while addressing an election rally in UP’s Saharanpur, said the Yogi Adityanath government has consistently worked towards preventing crimes against Muslim women, while the Opposition has stood in the way of their progress for the sake of votes.

A bulk of the UP seats, which went to polls today, are Jat dominated who had participated actively in the stir against the Centre’s three contentious agriculture laws in the national capital last year. The fiercely contested first round, where the ruling BJP is expected to face a stiff challenge from the resurgent alliance of (SP) and (RLD), will test the impact of the farmers stir.

Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Jayant Chaudhary faced backlash after saying he may skip voting because of election rallies. He later said he would vote in the evening at his constituency in Mathura, but failed to return in time from Bijnor, where he was campaigning with ally Akhilesh Yadav.

Their combine is seen as the big challenger to the Yogi Adityanath government. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has augmented his Muslim-Yadav support base with small parties have a following among the Other Backward Classes.

गोवा में फिर उछला 35 हजार करोड़ का जुमला बीजेपी बैक फुट पर
गोवा मे मुख्यमंत्री प्रमोद सावंत माइनिंग वाले इलाके साखलेम से फिर चुनाव लड़ रहे हैं लेकिन माइनिंग फिर से शुरु करने के मुददे ने उनकी मुसीबत बढ़ा दी है . यहां तक कि सावंत की मदद के लिए खुद गृहमंत्री अमित शाह को अपने दो दिन के दौरे में कहना पड़ा कि फिर से बीजेपी सरकार बनने के बाद गोवा में माइनिंग दोगुनी स्पीड से शुरु की जायेगी . अमित शाह एक बार गोवा में माइनिंग पर जी ओ एम का नेतृत्व कर चुके है लेकिन माइनिंग शुरु नहीं कर पाये.
इस बीच कांग्रेस के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष गिरीश चोदनकर ने खुलकर कह दिया है कि बीजेपी ने गोवा में कांग्रेस पर 35 हजार करोड़ रुपये घोटाले का जो आरोप लगाया था उसे साबित करे या माफी मांगे. असल में 2012 में चुनाव जीतने के लिए मनोहर पर्रीकर ने विपक्ष के नेता के तौर पर कांग्रेस पर 35 हजार करोड़ रुपये की अवैध माइनिंग का आरोप लगाया था .इसके लिए तब जस्टिस ए पी शाह समिती की रिपोर्ट का सहारा लिया था लेकिन बीते दस सालों में ये भी लाखों करोड़ो के टू जी घोटाले की तरह ही एक जुमला साबित हुआ .खुद सरकार बनाने के बाद मुख्यमंत्री बने मनोहर पर्रीकर को कहना पड़ा था कि ये 35 हजार करोड़ नहीं बल्कि 3500 करोड़ है. इतना ही नही जब इसके लिए चार्टर्ड अकाऊंटेंट की एक कमेटी बनी तो ये घटकर 350 करोड़ हो गया यानि बीजेपी ने चुनावी फायदे के लिए इसे 35 हजार करोड़ रुपये कर दिया था . बीजेपी इसके सहारे चुनाव जीत भी गयी दो बार लेकिन अब कांग्रेस ने खुलकर चुनौती देकर बीजेपी की मुश्किल भी बढ़ा दी है .
इसी 35 हजार करोड़ के आंकड़े के सहारे गोवा में माइनिंग का विरोध कर रहे एनजीओ गोवा फाऊंडेशन ने दावा किया था कि अगर ये पैसे वसूल लिये गये तो हर गोवा वासी के खाते में तीन लाख रुपये मिलेंगे लेकिन नंबर घटता गया तो अब हर खाते में 100 रुपये भी नहीं हो पा रहा . सोशल मीडिया पर बीजेपी से बार बार सवाल पूछा जा रहा है कि ये भी तो खाते में पंद्रह लाख रुपये के जुमले की तरह तो नहीं है .
चुनाव में भाजपा, कांग्रेस, आप और टीएमसी के साथ साथ क्षेत्रीय पार्टियां जोर आजमाइश कर रही हैं। राज्य के 70 नागरिक संगठनों ने एक जनता का घोषणापत्र भी जारी कर दिया है। सभी दलों का चुनाव अभियान कुछ खास मुद्दों के इर्दगिर्द है जिनमें खनन, बेरोजगारी, भ्रष्टाचार प्रमुख हैं। ये सभी ऐसे मसले हैं जिनको लेकर राज्य की जनता परेशान है। अन्य राज्य के लोग भले न समझ पाएं, लेकिन खनन, गोवा की एक बड़ी समस्या है। अन्य जगहों पर भले ही खनन को पर्यावरण की बर्बादी माना जाता हो लेकिन गोवा में खनन शुरू करने की मांग है।
दरअसल, पहले गोवा की अर्थव्यवस्था में लौह अयस्क के खनन की हिस्सेदारी करीब 75 फीसदी तक थी। 2012 से गोवा की कमाई में पर्यटन से ज्यादा हिस्सा खनन का होता था। लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट के एक आदेश के बाद राज्य में दस साल से खनन बंद है। इसलिए राज्य भर में खासकर दक्षिण गोवा में चुनाव का सबसे बड़ा मुद्दा खनन है। डिमांड है कि खनन फिर शुरू किया जाए। इसीलिए सभी पार्टियां सत्ता में आने पर खनन दोबारा शुरू कराने का वादा कर रही हैं। आम आदमी पार्टी ने तो ऐलान किया है कि सत्ता में आने के छह महीने के भीतर खनन शुरू करा दिया जाएगा।
अक्टूबर 2012 में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने गोवा के तमाम लौह अयस्क खनन और परिवहन पर रोक लगाने का आदेश दिया था। जस्टिस एमबीशाह आयोग की रिपोर्ट के बाद ये फैसला आया जिसमें बताया गया था कि लाखों टन लौह अयस्क अवैध रूप से निकाला जा रहा था। 2015 में राज्य सरकार ने 88 खनन कंपनियों की लीज को फिर से बहाल कर दिया था लेकिन 2018 में गोवा फाउंडेशन नाम के एनजीओ की याचिका पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने तमाम नई लीज रद्द कर दी थीं। बेरोजगारी देश के बाकी राज्यों की तरह गोवा में रोजगार की कमी एक बड़ा मुद्दा है। कोरोना वायरस महामारी से पर्यटन ठप है जिससे बेरोजगारी और भी बढ़ गई है। बंद पड़े खनन कारोबार ने भी इसे बढ़ाया है। लोगों का आक्रोश बेरोजगारी के चलते बहुत ज्यादा है। गोवा में खनन और पर्यटन, अर्थव्यवस्था के दो ही स्तंभ थे और दोनों ही बर्बाद हो चुके हैं।

राज्यसभा चुनाव को लेकर असमंजस में कांग्रेस
शरद पवार के हालिया बयान के बाद 4 अक्टूबर को होने वाले राज्यसभा चुनाव को लेकर कांग्रेस नेताओं में हड़कंप मच गया है।
अशोक चव्हाण ने बताया कि पार्टी नेतृत्व को लगता है कि पवार हाल ही में एक चैनल के साथ बयान दे रहे थे. क्या यह पूर्व योजना थी और पवार कांग्रेस से दूरी दिखाने की कोशिश कर रहे थे.
कांग्रेस के राजीव सातव की मृत्यु के कारण खाली हुई एक सीट के लिए राज्यसभा चुनाव 2 अक्टूबर को होगा। हालांकि यह खुला मतदान है, लेकिन कांग्रेस को डर है कि शरद पवार गड़बड़ कर सकते हैं जैसा कि उन्होंने राम प्रधान के चुनाव में बहुत पहले किया था। पवार समर्थको ने तब कांग्रेस के आधिकारिक उम्मीदवार के खिलाफ मतदान किया।
इस बार अगर बीजेपी ने किसी उम्मीदवार को भरा तो चुनाव होगा। इस सीट पर सभी एमएलए वोट देंगे। एमवीए के पास कुल 167 वोट हैं जबकि बीजेपी के पास 103 एमएलए हैं। अगर एनसीपी या शिवसेना के कुछ विधायकों ने चुनाव में हिस्सा नहीं लिया तो कुछ भी हो सकता है।
कांग्रेस किसी भी एमवीए पार्टनर के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करने की स्थिति में नहीं है। अगर एनसीपी वोट से दूर रहती है तो कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार हार जाएगा। फिर कांग्रेस समर्थन वापस लेने के लिए दबाव बनाएगी।
एनसीपी मंत्री के खिलाफ ईडी के कई मामलों के कारण कांग्रेस को लगता है कि पवार बहुत दबाव में हैं। यहां तक कि प्रफुल्ल पटेल ने भी कांग्रेस से दूरी बनाए रखने की सलाह दी। साथ ही राकांपा ने गोवा और गुजरात में कांग्रेस से दूरी बनाए रखने का फैसला किया।
यह सब राजनीतिक संभावना है और कांग्रेस पवार से अंतिम वक्तव्य का इंतजार कर रही है।
बीजेपी लोकमत संपादक विजय दर्डा या उद्योगपति संजय काकड़े जैसे निर्दलीय उम्मीदवार को दाखिल कर सकती है.
इस बीच कांग्रेस एमएलए ने मांग की कि उम्मीदवार केवल महाराष्ट्र से होना चाहिए और पार्टी को बाहरी लोगों को टिकट नहीं देना चाहिए। नाम संभावित हैं अविनाश पांडे। मुकुल वासनिक। मिलिंद देवरा और रजनी पाटिल।
बाहरी व्यक्ति राजीव शुक्ला और आनंद शर्मा भी इस सीट के लिए प्रयासरत हैं।

जहां कांग्रेस जन्मी वहीं सबसे बड़ा संकट

कांग्रेस का मूल जन्म सबसे पहले मुंबई में हुआ था . विचार था कि ऐसी पार्टी बनायी जाये जो सभी समाजों का प्रतिनिधित्व कर अंग्रेजों से बात करें. बाद में इसी कांग्रेस ने अंग्रेजों को देश से भगाया लेकिन अब हालात ये है कि कांग्रेस मुक्त भारत की तरफ खुद कांग्रेस ही तेजी से आगे बढ़ रही है .

अब सोनिया गांधी कांग्रेस के नाराज नेताओं से दो महीने बाद ही सही बात कर रही है लेकिन कांग्रेस के चापलूस नेताओं ने फिर राहुल को ही अध्यक्ष बनाने का नारा उछाल दिया है . सवाल यही कि अगर राहुल को ही अध्यक्ष बनना है तो फिर इतने दिन का पालिसी पैरालिसिस का क्या मतलब . बेहतर होता राहुल अध्यक्ष बनकर जैसा चलाना चाहते पार्टी का चलाते .

लेकिन यहां हम बात राहुल गांधी की नहीं महाराष्ट्र में कांग्रेस की हालत की कर रहे है . बीते एक साल से यहां भी सब कुछ एडहाक चल रहा है . पार्टी अध्यक्ष बाला साहेब थोरात एक साथ मंत्री और अध्यक्ष दोनों पद संभाले हुये हैं. तो मुंबई में 80 साल के एकनाथ गायकवाड को भी कार्यकारी के तौर पर ही अध्यक्ष बनाकर खींचा जा रहा है . महाराष्ट्र में कांग्रेस अपने सबसे निचले स्तर पर है .सत्तता से बाहर होने के बावजूद बीजेपी हमलावर है तो शिवसेना और एनसीपी मिलकर एक दूसरे को मजूबत कर रहे हैं.

कांग्रेस के नेता आपस में ही एक दूसरे को निपटाने में लगे हैं .कददावर नेता अशोक चव्हाण बस अपनी सीट नांदेड़ तक सिमटे हुये हैं तो बाकी नेता हाशिये पर हैं. चुनाव नहीं लडने के बाद भी राज्यसभा में चले गये राजीव सातव इन दिनों राहुल की नजदीकी का फायदा उठाकर लगातार महाराष्ट्र कांग्रेस में दखलंदाजी कर रहे हैं. वो प्रदेश अध्यक्ष बनना चाहते हैं लेकिन अगर बने तो उनका हाल भी हरियाणा के अशोक तंवर और मध्यप्रदेश के अरुण यादव की तरह ही होगा .

मुंबई में तो हाल और भी बुरा है संजय निरुपम और मिलिंद देवडा के बाद पार्टी को एक बेहतर अधयक्ष तक नहीं मिल पा रहा है. जबकि करीब डेढ़ साल बाद मुंबई महानगरपालिका का चुनाव होना है . अगर कांग्रेस अब नहीं चेती तो मुंबई में उसका सफाया हो सकता है. जहां उसका जन्म हुआ था .
