The facility has been constructed to benefit the contract labourers associated with the Coke Ovens unit.

The cycle stand was inaugurated by Mr. Rakesh Joshi, CGM (CO&CC) on 12th May, 2025. Present on the occasion were Mr. K Srinivasulu, GM(CO); Mr. B. Majhi, GM (CO-O); along with other senior executives and employees from the Coke Ovens department.

The inauguration program was coordinated by Mr. J.K. Mishra, Assistant Manager (CO-O).
