The collaboration will initially assess the project’s technical and commercial feasibility, implementation modalities and potential applications of syn-gas. CIL is considering establishing the gasification facility adjacent to or at the Paradip plant. The companies will also prepare a Preliminary Feasibility Report. Details regarding project capacity, investment, technology, coal source, timeline and equity structure have not yet been disclosed.
