EIL and MRPL inked a Memorandum of Agreement for mutual cooperation

NEW DELHI. The MoA was signed in the presence of C&MD EIL, Ms. Vartika Shukla and MD MRPL, Shri Mundkur Shyamprasad Kamath, along with other Senior Officials of EIL & MRPL at EIL’s in New Delhi.

The MoA shall provide a robust framework for fast-track implementation of various Engineering and Consultancy projects in Refineries, Petrochemicals, Biofuels, Renewable energy, Marketing terminals and Depots, and other projects of MRPL in India. The MoA shall further strengthen the association between EIL and MRPL in the Hydrocarbon and Renewable Energy space.

CMD EIL, Ms. Vartika Shukla, led the EIL team in a productive meeting with the NMDC Energy (Abu Dhabi) Leadership — Mr. Hanna Dahdah (Chief Engineering & Commercial Director), Dr. Faris Kamal (Vice President, Engineering), and Mr. Ramachandran Laxminarayanan (BD Director). The teams explored promising opportunities for collaboration across the hydrocarbon value chain.

EIL Directors Mr. Atul Gupta (Commercial), Mr. Rajiv Agarwal (Technical), and Mr. S. Balakumar (Projects) also participated in the discussion, sharing insights and aligning on the path forward. The meeting marked a significant step towards impactful energy partnerships, innovation-driven projects, and global collaboration.

CMD, EIL dedicated a Medical Van for extending healthcare services to underprivileged people

As part of EIL’s CSR initiative and under the aegis of ‘Project Sanjivani’, a Medical Van for extending primary healthcare services to underprivileged people in rural areas around Barmer, Rajasthan was inaugurated by CMD, Smt. Vartika Shukla in presence of Shri. Rajiv Agarwal, Director (Technical), Shri. Subhas Balakumar, Director (Projects) and Shri. R. K. Singh Director (HR) (virtually) along with other senior officials. The medical van equipped with medical staff, medicines etc. is an initiative by EIL to bring the healthcare services to the doorstep of poor and BPL persons living in remote areas of the country.

CMD, EIL, inaugurated the Make In India Pavilion

Ms. Vartika Shukla, CMD, EIL, inaugurated the Make In India Pavilion at India Energy Week 2025, an international conference and exhibition. Hosted by EIL, the pavilion showcases India’s manufacturing excellence in the energy sector.

Interacting with participating manufacturers, she encouraged them to drive innovation and enhance India’s industrial capabilities. The pavilion features 50 manufacturers specializing in static equipment, rotating machinery, electrical and instrumentation systems, piping materials, line pipes, and more. Located in Hall No. 2 of Yashobhoomi, Delhi, the MII Pavilion showcases India’s growing self-reliance in manufacturing.
