]]> Gurugram: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID),  has been honored with the prestigious Green World Award 2026 in the “Climate Change” category. The award was presented at a formal ceremony held at Cardiff Castle, Wales, U.K., recognizing POWERGRID’s sustained commitment to environmental stewardship and adoption of climate-responsive operational practices. The award was received by Sh. Vipul Singh, Sr. DGM (CSR), and Sh. Manu Sinha, DGM (CSR).

POWERGRID’s recognition in the Climate Change category reflects its initiatives promoting energy-efficient transmission infrastructure, and integrating sustainability into project execution.
