One of Bollywood’s favourite couples Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora have been reportedly spending the quarantine period with each other. Soon after the news of the ‘Panipat’ actor testing positive for COVID-19 broke out, Malaika Arora also confirmed that she has tested positive too while in conversation with a leading daily.

Malaika told Times Of India that she has tested positive for the virus and have quarantined herself as she is asymptomatic. She assured that she will bounce back healthier and stronger. She was quoted saying, “Yes, I have tested positive. I am asymptomatic and have self-quarantined at home. I will bounce back healthier and stronger.”

Arjun Kapoor also wrote in his social media, “It is my duty to inform all of you that I have tested positive for coronavirus. I’m feeling ok and I’m asymptomatic. I have isolated myself at home under the advice of doctors and authorities, and will be under home quarantine.”

Many Bollywood celebrities including his sister Sonam Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana and others wished the actor a healthy and a speedy recovery.

Chakraborty was on Sunday questioned on the medical treatment and medicines administered to Sushant Singh Rajput and mention of drugs in her chats. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team has been questioning Rhea daily since the last three days as her answers “have not been satisfactory”.

According to the CBI officials, Rhea, accompanied by brother Showik, arrived at the DRDO guest house around 10.15 a.m. on Sunday and left at 7 p.m. A CBI source said that the agency questioned her again about the expenses made by her from Sushant’s credit card and his medical treatment.

The source said that the CBI team was keen on getting more details on the treatment of Sushant, what medicines were being administered to him, and since how long he was getting treatment. The source said that when the questions about the medical treatment and medicines were asked, Rhea was “evasive”. She was also not “comfortable” when asked about the problems of Sushant and why she was talking about drugs in her chats, according to the source.

The source said that she was also questioned about the reasons for replacing the personal staff at Sushant’s residence and reportedly keeping the late actor away from his family.

The CBI team also grilled her about the financial transactions and plans of investments. The CBI team was not satisfied with Rhea’s responses and plans to summon her again. Till date, the CBI has questioned Rhea for over 25 hours. She was questioned for over 10 hours on Friday and seven hours on Saturday.

The CBI also grilled her brother separately on Friday and Saturday besides questioning Sushant’s personal staff Neeraj Singh, and Dipesh Sawant, flatmate Siddharth Pithani and others.

The CBI team had arrived in Mumbai along with the forensic team last Thursday, a day after the Supreme Court gave the nod for a probe by the federal agency, and was exempted from mandatory quarantine by the BMC.

The CBI team has till date twice visited the Cooper Hospital, Sushant’s Bandra flat and Waterstone resort. The team has also collected all the documents from the Mumbai Police related to the case.

श्वेता सिंह ने एक साथ कई ट्वीट करते हुए कहा कि ‘सुशांत का परिवार हमेशा उनके साथ मजबूती के साथ खड़ा था.’ उन्होंने #Godiswithus #JusticeForSushantSinghRajput और #ArrestRheaNow जैसे हैशटैग इस्तेमाल करते हुए कहा कि रिया की हिम्मत है कि वो ‘मीडिया के सामने आकर उनके भाई के खिलाफ ऐसी बातें कर रही हैं.’

श्वेता सिंह ने आरोप लगाए कि रिया चक्रवर्ती ने मीडिया का इस्तेमाल करके और उनपर ड्रग्स के इस्तेमाल का आरोप लगाकर उनके भाई की इमेज खराब करने की कोशिश की है. उन्होंने रिया पर सुशांत को ‘ड्रग देने, बंद रखने और दूसरों से अलग-थलग’ कर देने के आरोप फिर दोहराए. उन्होंने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि रिया ने सुशांत सिंह को चंडीगढ़ में अपने परिवार के साथ ज्यादा वक्त बिताने से रोका था और वापस मुंबई जाने पर मजबूर किया था.

श्वेता सिंह ने लिखा, ‘जनवरी में भाई ने रानी दी से मदद मांगी थी. उसे ड्रग दिया गया था और वो अकेला था. इसके कुछ वक्त बाद ही वो चंडीगढ़ आया था, जहां रिया ने उन्हें दो-तीन दिनों के भीतर 25 कॉल किए. उसे बुलाने की ऐसी भी क्या जल्दी थी?’ उन्होंने दावा किया कि वो सुशांत की सेहत की बात सुनकर अमेरिका से भारत आईं लेकिन रिया की कॉल बार-बार आने के चलते सुशांत पहले ही मुंबई जा चुके थे.

उन्होंने कहा कि ‘मैं सोचती हूं कि काश भाई उस लड़की से कभी मिला ही नहीं होता. किसी को उसकी बिना सहमति के ड्रग देना और फिर उसे बताना कि वो मानसिक रूप से ठीक नहीं है और फिर उसे साइकाइट्रिस्ट के पास ले जाना…ये कैसा मैनिपुलेशन है?’

रिया ने इंटरव्यू में ये भी कबूला कि उन्हें लगता है कि वे सुसाइड कर लें. उन्होंने बताया कि पिछले कुछ महीनों में उनके मन में सुसाइड के ख्याल आए. जानते हैं रिया ने क्यों सुसाइड का जिक्र किया.

राजदीप: अब मामला आ रहा है नारकोटिक्स का. नारकोटिक्स ड्रग्स कंट्रोल भी आपसे सवाल कर सकती है क्योंकि कहीं ना कहीं ये सवाल उठ रहा है कि क्या रिया का ड्रग पैडलर्स, ड्रग डीलर्स के साथ कोई कनेक्शन है?

रिया: ये यही बचा था ना अब मेरे ऊपर डालने के लिए, कि इस लड़की को इतना क्रूसिफाई कर दो. मैं तो बोलती हूं एक बंदूक ले आओ, मेरी फैमिली लाइन से खड़ी हो जाएगी. गोली मारकर उड़ा दो हमें. नहीं तो हम ही सुसाइड कर लेते हैं फिर कौन जिम्मेदार होगा. मैं इन सभी आरोपों को नकारती हूं. ये बेबुनियाद हैं. मैं इनके डीटेल्स में सिर्फ एक वजह से नहीं जाना चाहूंगी कि ये मेरे आगे के इंवेस्टिगेशन को तंग कर सकता है.

राजदीप: क्या आप मुझे कह रही हैं कि आपने पिछले कुछ महीनों में सुसाइड का सोचा.

रिया: जरूर.

राजदीप: आपने सोचा है कि शायद मुझे आत्महत्या करनी चाहिए. आप ये कह रही हैं मुझे आज.

रिया: जी. शायद मुझे या मेरे पूरे परिवार को कर लेनी चाहिए. या फिर कोई हमें गोली मार दे. ऐसे घुट-घुटकर जीने से इस तरह की बेइज्जती, हम लोग मिडिल क्लास लोग हैं इज्जत नहीं है तो कुछ नहीं है. आज मैं ड्रग डीलर हूं, कल मैं मर्डरर थी फिर और कुछ और.. ये एंडलेस और बेसलेस है. इसलिए मैंने अब तक बात नहीं की, क्योंकि कहने का क्या मतलब है जब सब लोग अपनी मनगढंत कहानियां बना रहे हैं बिना किसी प्रूफ के. अंकिता लोखंडे जैसे लोग आपको ये सहानूभुति नहीं होगी कि मुझे दर्द हुआ होगा. आप मनगढ़ंत कहानियां बना रही हैं. आपने 4 साल से बात नहीं की है. अब मैं इतने सारे लोगों से कैसे लड़ूं.

इसके अलावा भी राजदीप सरदेसाई ने रिया से सुशांत केस को लेकर कई तीखे सवाल पूछे. जानते हैं उनके बारे में.

राजदीप: आपको लगता है कि मीडिया ट्रायल चल रहा है?

रिया: लगता? (दबी हुई हंसी में) मीडिया ट्रायल है. और बहुत ही बुरा व्हिच हंट (डायन का शिकार) जिसे कहते हैं. वो भी चल रहा है. वो भी चल रहा है. किसी को प्यार करना एक मोस्ट वांटेड क्राइम हो गया है. मुझे लगता है कि हर उस इंसान को गिरफ्तार कर लीजिए जो रिलेशनशिप में है. क्यों नहीं करते?

राजदीप: मैं एक मिनट रिलेशनशिप पर आऊंगा लेकिन उससे पहले मैं पूछना चाहता हूं, मैंने आपको इंटरव्यू में कहा इंडियाज मोस्ट वांटेड. एक बॉलीवुड एक्टर. आप आए बॉलीवुड में, आपके सपने होंगे कि मुझे बड़ा स्टार बनना है. बड़ा स्टार आज इंडियाज मोस्ट वांटेड कहा जाता है, एक तरह से विलेन कहा जा रहा है इस पूरे मामले का. किस तरह से आप देखती हैं? आपका वो सपना, और आज ये हकीकत.

रिया: मुझे तो कभी-कभी विश्वास भी नहीं होता है कि ये मेरी लाइफ है. (सोच में पड़ते हुए) तथ्यों से दूर एक सच ये भी है कि सुशांत आज यहां नहीं है… और वो सबको सच नहीं बता सकता. मेरे सपने तो अब इतने कोसों दूर हैं कि मैं गहरी सांस लेना चाहती हूं जहां चार पांच एजेंसीज मेरे पीछे ना पड़ी हों. मैं सिर्फ एक नॉर्मल दिन देखना चाहती हूं जहां मैं सुबह उठकर बस नाश्ता कर सकूं अपने माता-पिता के साथ और मेरे परिवार में किसी एक इंसान को एंग्जायटी अटैक ना हो. तो सपने तो मेरे कब के पिछड़ गए…. पर…. मैं लड़ूंगी.

राजदीप: आप लड़ेंगी?

रिया: हां, मैं लड़ूंगी.

राजदीप: आपने कभी हिम्मत नहीं खोई है, क्योंकि जिस तरह से आरोप लगे हैं. कुछ लोग कहेंगे कि अब तो रिया चक्रवर्ती की हिम्मत भी गई होगी?

रिया: तोड़ने की तो पूरी साजिश है…. पहले मेरी फैमिली को तोड़ने की. फिर…. मुझे तोड़ने की. अब, मेरे हौसले को तोड़ने की, कि इस लड़की को ऐसा कर दो कि ये अपने आप को भी डिफेंड नहीं कर पाए.

क्या बोलती हैं कंगना जी? कि सिस्टमैटिक ब्रेकडाउन ऑफ ए फ्रेजाइल माइंड सुशांत के साथ हुआ है. तो मेरे साथ क्या हुआ है? मेरे साथ क्या हुआ है? सिस्टमैटिक ब्रेकडाउन ऑफ ए इनोसेंट फैमिली? एन इनोसेंट गर्ल? जिसने एक मासूम लड़के को प्यार किया? He was sent Mumbai on the basis of a complaint filed by the late actor’s father in Patna.

“IPS officer Vinay Tiwari reached Mumbai today from Patna on official duty to lead the police team there but he has been forcibly quarantined by BMC officials at 11 PM today,” Pandey tweeted.

Meanwhile Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh again condemned the demand for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. He shared on social media that
“@MumbaiPolice already began investigating allegations about @itsSSR’s unfortunate alleged suicide. Even if Bihar Police registered an offence in Patna, under Ch. 12 & 13 of the #CrPC it has to be investigated, inquired and tried by police and courts within whose jurisdiction…,” Deshmukh said in a tweet.

“…the offence is committed. I condemn the demand for the @itsSSR case to be handed to #CBI. The case is now being politicised for political gains. #MaharashtraPolice is inquiring into the case professionally and are competent in digging out the truth, leaving no stone unturned!” he added.

Rajput’s father lodged a police complaint against actor Rhea Chakraborty and her family members and the department registered a first information report (FIR) under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including abetment to suicide.

Rajput’s father alleged that Chakraborty and her family kept his son away from his family, handled his bank accounts and took away crores of rupees. His FIR mentioned that when she found Rajput’s bank balance was depleting, she left his house on June 8 and took cash, jewellery and his medical reports along with her, and also blocked his mobile number.

Both Amitabh Bachchan, 77, and his son Abhishek, 44, were admitted to Nanavati hospital on Saturday after testing positive for Covid-19. They have undergone rapid antigen testing, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said on Saturday.

“Both Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan underwent Antigen test and they have tested positive for COVID-19. Other family members including Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were also tested and their results will come tomorrow (Sunday),” he said.

“As Bachchan ji has specifically said in his tweet that all people who came in contact with him past five to seven days should get tested and quarantine themselves. I pray to god that Amitabh Bachchan Ji recovers from this soon,” he added.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan and Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri wished the actor a speedy recovery.

The legendary choreographer had severe diabetes and related illness. She had tested negative for coronavirus. She was 71. Saroj Khan is survived by her husband B. Sohanlal, son Hamid Khan and daughters Hina Khan and Sukyna Khan.

Saroj Khan was admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital at Bandra in Mumbai on June 17 after complaining of breathing issues. Her daughter Sukyna Khan informed that her mother has tested negative for Covid-19 and, said that the breathlessness was caused due to cold. Furthermore, she added that Saroj Khan is likely to be discharged from the hospital in the next two to three days.

In a career spanning more than four decades, Saroj Khan choreographed more than 2000 songs.

Saroj Khan, who began working as a background dancer at the age of three, got her first break as an independent choreographer with Geeta Mera Naam in 1974. The three-time National Award winner has been credited with choreographing over 2000 songs, including iconic numbers such as Hawa Hawai from Mr India (1987), Ek Do Teen from Tezaab (1988), Dhak Dhak Karne Laga from Beta (1992) and Dola Re Dola from Devdas (2002).

She last choreographed Madhuri Dixit in the song Tabaah Ho Gaye from Karan Johar’s production Kalank in 2019.

Also Sushant sister Shweta Singh Kirti has penned down an open letter on Facebook for her ‘baby’ brother and said that she knew he was in a lot of pain and was a fighter. Sharing a photo of a handwritten note by Sushant for her, she wrote, “Mera baby, mera Babu mera Bachcha is not physically present with us anymore and it is ok… I know u were in a lot of pain and I know u were a fighter and u were bravely fighting it. Sushant shared a really close bond with his mother which became even more evident when it came to light that he had dedicated his last social media post to his departed mom. “Blurred past evaporating from teardrops, unending dreams carving an arc of smile, and a fleeting life, negotiating between the two,”

Sushant had written on June 3 as he posted a picture of himself alongside his late mother.
