She kicked off the dialogue on celebrating individuality with powerful and empowering words at Colorbar’s headquarters. Rani stated, “People ask me why I don’t choose to be either male or female. I am both, what do I do? I am Trans, but I am not asking you to be Trans.” She concluded the conversation with a rendition of her debut song, ‘Pari Hoon Main,’ performing in different voices and flaunting all her shades. On the occasion, the Chairman released margin money grant of about Rs.25 crores to 237 beneficiaries of Western Zone under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) scheme. He congratulated KVIC officials and lakhs of Khadi artisans working in rural areas of country for achieving the historic turnover of Rs.1.34 lakh crores in the financial year 2022-23.

KVIC Chairman further added that under the leadership of Prime Minister  KVIC has taken the concept of “Vocal for Local” and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ campaign to new heights. For the first time in the history of independent India, the turnover of KVIC products has crossed Rs.1.34 lakh crores, while 9,54,899 new employment opportunities also have been generated in rural areas. He further said that the ‘Khadi Yoga Mat’ launched today is a completely indigenous product prepared by the skills of Khadi artisans. He said we all have to be vocal for this new local product. And when we become ‘Vocal for Local’ for our products, then only our products will be able to reach the category of ‘Local to Global’.

The BJP Government has done remarkable work towards the welfare and empowerment of people by launching a number of schemes with total number of beneficiaries crossing 22 crore, but we need to further advance the reach by creating awareness and ground level engagement with the potential beneficiaries, says BJP National Spokesperson for Economic Affairs Gopal Krishna Agarwal on launch of a nation-wide campaign “Meri Sarkar Mera Abhiman” at New Delhi.

Mr Agarwal who is also the chief mentor of the campaign launched a book with 75 flagship schemes of the government in the areas of health, housing, financial inclusion, agriculture, entrepreneurship which will further strengthen the foundation of our socio-economic development with people-centric approach.
“The objective of this campaign is to reach the people at grass root level through right content with robust awareness drive. This is the first publication of the campaign, and we will come out with a number of such publications including audio/video content and disseminate the same though social media and organising events at district level”. Gopal Kumar, the Convenor of the Campaign said.

The publication covers 74 schemes in a nutshell with the name of the Scheme, launch date, objective, benefits, eligibility, and link to the Scheme’s website. To help people to take the benefits of the scheme, we have also launched our first Namo Seva Kendra in Noida and a help desk ( C 62, Sector 65, Noida. Helpline no; 9891408720 ) where we engage with potential beneficiaries and help them enrol for the various scheme in the gautam buddha nagar constituency, this model is replicable in other constituencies, Said Mr Agarwal. Prime minister Shri Narendra Modi ji 9 years of good governance was also discussed, how has made big difference with his goal of Seva, Sushasan and gareeb kalyan. Under Modi ji Indian economy has become the growth engine for the world.

Madan Sahni, Social Welfare Minister, Government of Bihar, expressed his wholehearted support, stating, “The ‘Dahej Naa Dem’ campaign is an essential endeavour that addresses the deep-rooted issue of dowry in our society. Renowned folk singer Bhavani Pandey, an active participant in the campaign’s launch show, shared his thoughts, saying, “As an artist, I believe it is our responsibility to use our voice for meaningful causes. I am immensely proud to have joined the ‘Dahej Naa Dem’ campaign, contributing towards ending the practice of dowry, which has inflicted pain on countless lives.”

Shilpi Singh, a dedicated social worker, added, “The ‘Dahej Naa Dem’ campaign has successfully challenged societal norms that perpetuate the dowry system. I extend my gratitude to News18 Bihar/Jharkhand for spearheading this campaign and providing a platform to raise awareness and bring about change.”

One of the campaign’s key segments featured a comprehensive report showcasing alarming statistics on dowry-related murders and harassment.
