Bengaluru, 5th December 2025: Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) Greater Noida, a leading AACSB-accredited business school in India, successfully conducted its series of last month CEO/CXO Talk sessions “A Conversation with Gen Z” getting the top CEO’s and CXO’s to campus to share their business insights on leadership, HR and digital transformation.

The event featured Kenji Inoue, CFO and COO, UNIQLO India; Mr. Swarup Mohanty, Vice Chairman and CEO, Mirae Asset Investment Managers (India) Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. Abhay Batra, Co-Founder and CFO, Clovia; and Mr. Vijay Ranjan Singh, HR Head, LG India. These sessions provided students with actionable insights on leadership, digital strategy, and HR best practices, marking a significant milestone in fostering industry–academia knowledge exchange.

Mr. Mohanty shared, “I made two mistakes that I regret. The first was not starting to invest early, and the second was not remaining invested. I thought I was smarter than the markets, but I soon realized that the markets are always smarter than you. In a country like India, which is set to double its economic growth in the next decade, investing in capital markets is one of the best ways to participate in the country’s growth.”

The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions about entrepreneurship, product innovation, and brand building. Mr. Abhay Batra’s practical insights helped them understand the real-world application of business concepts and the mindset needed to create impact.

Mr. Batra stressed that organic and guerrilla marketing often outperform heavy spending, stating, “Spending a lot of money doesn’t ensure success. What works is organic connection and doing things the right way.” This helped students understand the marketing domain and all the aspects associated with it.
The session concluded with an inspiring message: “The only difference between success and no success is doing.”

Mr. Vijay Ranjan Singh began the session with an energetic greeting, setting a lively and engaging tone that encouraged students to reciprocate with equal enthusiasm. He urged them to reflect deeply on their personal journeys, aspirations, and readiness to transition into the corporate world, emphasizing that “you can only defeat yourself,” quoting the movie Sultan to highlight that self-discipline, self-awareness, and personal responsibility are the biggest enablers of success.

BIMTECH is only one the very few B Schools in the country to have such a structured CEO /CXO talk series every month to make their students industry centric and ready. The objective is also to request CEO’s, CHRO’s and CXO’s to share their rich learnings back to the community of bright young future managers, so that we have a robust future leadership in corporate India. Through these presentations, panel discussions, and interactive exchanges, ICMC continued to emphasize the value of cases as a pedagogical bridge between theory and practice.

A notable feature of the conference was the 6th Case Master Development Workshop titled “Advance Your Case Writing with Ivey Publishing.” Conducted on 28 November 2025, the workshop was facilitated by Ms. Gallagher and guided participants through the process of crafting analytically rich and engaging cases and teaching notes. It also demystified Ivey Publishing’s submission and review procedures, offering practical insights and personalized feedback. The workshop drew enthusiastic participation, especially from early-career scholars and first-time case writers, reflecting the growing interest in case-based pedagogy across disciplines.

ICMC 2025 also hosted an enriching “Meet the Editors” forum featuring global editorial leaders such as Dr. Eric Dolansky (Editor-in-Chief, Case Research Journal), Dr. Mike Annett (Associate Editor, The Case Journal, Emerald), Dr. Virginia Bodolica (Editor-in-Chief, Emerging Markets Case Studies, Emerald), and Dr. Anjan Ghosh (Senior Associate Editor, FIIB Review and SAJBMC, Sage). Their candid reflections on what makes a case publishable, the nuances of editorial decision-making, and the future of case scholarship offered invaluable guidance to participants aiming to publish in international outlets.

As part of its commitment to recognizing excellence, ICMC 2025 conferred nine prestigious case awards sponsored by Ivey Publishing, SAGE, and The Case Centre. These awards celebrated creativity, methodological rigor, contextual richness, and real-world impact—qualities that lie at the heart of effective case writing and teaching.

The 14th edition of the International Conference on Management Cases concluded with renewed energy and inspiration, strengthening BIMTECH’s long-standing mission to promote a vibrant global community of case authors and educators. The workshop witnessed footfall of participants from Spain, Austria, Latvia, Nepal, and India who engaged in an enriching exchange of ideas. Led by eminent experts, this learning series featured an engaging session on “How to Integrate Generative AI into Teaching and Learning Processes” and highlighted strategies and examples of ‘Universal Design for Learning’ (UDL).

Across five days, the capacity building sessions covered topics including “Understanding disability and inclusion”, “Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities”, “Constitutional values & duties for inclusion”, “Disability and Inclusion in HEIs in India and Nepal”, “Competencies and tools for developing inclusive education”, “Universal Design of Learning”, and “Implementation of best practices through Digital Learning Platforms and their Impact on SDGs”.

Day one specifically focused on learning from best practices in Spain to adapting globally tested models of inclusion, and exploring how Generative AI can be integrated effectively into teaching and learning processes. Professors from the institute also shared insights from primary data of BIMTECH students on the Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity, and Accessibility scenario.

Dr. Prabina Rajib, Director, BIMTECH, shared, “This workshop created a vibrant platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and strategic planning. Participants gained insights into best practices from EU Countries for promoting inclusive education and explored their adaptability in South Asian higher education contexts. They experimented with Generative AI applications to enhance inclusivity, engagement, and effectiveness in teaching and learning.”

Building the capacities of educators on inclusive education was the key focus of this 5-day workshop. Dr. Javier Fernández Molina & Dr. Mario Guillo, University of Alicante, Spain, conducted a thought-provoking session on the topic “How to Integrate Generative AI into Teaching and Learning Processes.” Dr. Himanshi Tiwari, Project Lead, BIMTECH, shared strategies and examples of ‘Universal Design for Learning’ (UDL), which BCall focuses on studying further for its contextualization in Indian HEIs.

Held at the BIMTECH campus in Greater Noida, the event was designed to empower early-stage founders through powerpack knowledge sharing sessions for startups from investment to immersive sessions on Generative AI, expert panels, hands-on learning, and meaningful networking covering more than 100 startups from across India.

Google AI Day for Startups is a multi-format, full day workshop series organized by Google for Startups in collaboration with ecosystem partners across India. These events aimed to equip early-stage founders with the knowledge, technical expertise, and networks required to build with Generative AI and scale their solutions effectively.

The event featured keynotes and panels by Google AI experts, VCs, and founders, offering insights into key Generative AI trends such as AI agents, multimodal systems, and commercialization, with a focus on scaling real world solutions. Progressing from a regional winner, South and Central Asia to making it to the global Top 5, then the Top 3, and then finally it culminated in the selection as the Global Winner.
