										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Ministry of Tourism is organizing the annual mega event, Bharat Parv 2025, from January 26th to 31st at the Red Fort Lawns and Gyan Path, New Delhi. Since its inception in 2016, Bharat Parv has been integral to the Republic Day celebrations, showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage and diversity. The event is open to the public from 12:00 Noon to 9:00 PM from January 27th to 31st. Entry to the event is free.</p>
<p>This year, the theme for Bharat Parv 2025 is &#8220;Dekho Apna Desh,&#8221; which encourages citizens to participate in the Dekho Apna Desh: People’s Choice Voting initiative. The initiative aims to engage the public in highlighting popular and emerging travel destinations nationwide while fostering a deeper appreciation for India’s cultural heritage.</p>
<p>The event features a spectacular lineup of activities, including displays of Republic Day tableaux, performances by Armed Forces bands (both static and moving), cultural performances by Zonal Cultural Centers and State/UT troupes, regional cuisines, food demonstrations, and a vibrant crafts bazaar. Additionally, visitors can explore the pavilions set up by various state governments and central ministries, offering insights into India&#8217;s diverse heritage and development initiatives.</p>
<p><strong>Major Highlights of Bharat Parv 2025</strong></p>
<p>Food Stalls (59 in total): These include stalls set up by state governments, Institutes of Hotel Management (IHM), other hospitality institutes, and the National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI). Live cooking demonstrations will also be held in studio kitchens.</p>
<p>Handicrafts &amp; Handloom Stalls (70 in total): The exhibition will showcase stalls by the Development Commissioners for Handloom and Handicrafts, Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation (TRIFED), Tihar Jail, and various central ministries, states, and UTs.</p>
<p>Tourism &amp; Government Pavilions: 34 State Tourism Pavilions and 24 stalls by various Central Ministries are featured, providing information on travel destinations and government initiatives.</p>
<p>Cultural &amp; Heritage Performances: Visitors can enjoy performances choreographed by the North Zonal Cultural Centre, regional associations such as the Kannada and Gujarat Associations, and special acts by renowned artists.</p>
<p>Military and Paramilitary Showcases: The event includes a display of Republic Day tableaux and stirring performances by the Army, Navy, Air Force, and paramilitary bands.</p>
<p>Interactive Activity Zone: The event will engage visitors with activities like nukkad natak (street plays), quizzes, painting competitions, and experiential zones. Tourism Youth Clubs, school and college students, and other interactive elements will further enhance visitor engagement.</p>
<p><strong>Participating Organizations</strong></p>
<p>Participants include all State and UT Tourism and Culture Departments alongside 22 Central Ministries and Departments, including the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of AYUSH, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Textiles, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, and the Ministry of Food Processing, among others. Other notable participants include Rashtrapati Bhawan, Tihar Jail, Aga Khan Trust (NGO), IHM Pusa, National Book Trust, Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, and the North Zonal Cultural Centre.</p>

Meenakshi Sharma, ADG,Tourism Smt. Rupinder Brar and other senior officials of Ministry were also present during the inaugural ceremony.</p>
<p>After the inaugural ceremony, armed forces band gave their tremendous performance which was followed by cultural performance by North Centre Zone Cultural Cenre.</p>
<p>Bharat Parv, 2020 is being celebrated from 26th to 31st January, 2020 in front of Red Fort at Gyan Path and Red Fort grounds. The objective of Bharat Parv is to encourage Indians to visit different tourism places of India and to inculcate the spirit of ‘Dekho Apna Desh’. More than 50 food stalls, 79 handicrafts / handloom stalls and 27 theme pavilions have been setup during Bharat Parv.</p>
<p>The Central theme of this year’s Bharat Parv is ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ and ‘Celebrating 150 Years of Mahatma Gandhi’. Bharat Parv will be open for the General Public on 26th January, at 5.00 PM till 10.00 PM. On the remaining days 27th to 31st January, 2020 the Bharat Parv would be open from 12.00 Hrs till 10.00 PM.</p>
<p>Bharat Parv have many attractions for public like display of Tableaux of the Republic Day parade, performance by armed forces bands, tourism theme pavilion by State Governments/ Union Territory Administrations and line Ministries, handicraft &amp; Handloom Stalls by the State Governments/Union Territory Administrations, Commission Handloom / Handicrafts / TRIFED, food Court by State Governments, Institutes of Hotel Management and other organizations, cultural Performances by North Central Zone Cultural Centre (NCZCC) and State Governments / UT Administrations and cookery demonstrations by State Governments and Institute of Hotel Management.</p>
<p>Entry to the Bharat Parv is free though the visitors will have to show their identity proof for entering the Parv.</p>
