BEL Partners with NIRNAYA for Emerging Technology Solutions

BENGALURU. Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NIRNAYA Systems & Solutions Pvt. Ltd. to jointly pursue business opportunities in emerging technology and digital solutions, including IT infrastructure, data centres, cybersecurity, ERP, Healthcare IT, AI/ML applications, software development and analytics platforms. The MoU was exchanged by Ms. Anuradha Mahur, GM (Civilian Marketing), BEL, and Mr. Binay Pratap Shahi, Co-Founder, NIRNAYA Systems & Solutions, in the presence of Mr. Manoj Kumar Jain, CMD, BEL, Mr. Anoop Kumar Rai, Director (Marketing), BEL, and senior officials of both organisations. The partnership aims to leverage the complementary capabilities of both companies to develop technology-driven solutions and expand BEL’s presence in emerging digital domains.

BEL Donates 10 Tipper Vehicles to UPSIDA for Industrial Sanitation in Ghaziabad

GHAZIABAD. Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has handed over 10 Ashok Leyland Dost 1500 CC tipper vehicles to the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. The vehicles were formally flagged off on 7 September 2026 at BEL’s Sahibabad Site-IV premises by Ambrish Tripathi, Director (Human Resources), BEL, and Balkar Singh (IAS), CEO, UPSIDA. The ceremony was also attended by Smt. Rashmi Kathuria, Executive Director & Unit Head, BEL Ghaziabad, and Rajeev Tyagi, Principal General Manager, UPSIDA, alongside other senior officials.

This CSR initiative aims to strengthen waste management across five major industrial areas in the Ghaziabad district through regular, door-to-door collection of industrial garbage. By deploying these dedicated tippers, the collaboration between BEL and UPSIDA seeks to maintain cleaner industrial zones, boost overall sanitation standards, and foster healthier environmental conditions for surrounding communities.

NEW DELHI: Mr. Ambrish Tripathi assumed charge as Director (Human Resources) of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) Prior to this appointment, he was General Manager of BEL’s Kotdwar Unit since January 1, 2024.

During his career at BEL, he has held various important assignments and has made significant contributions in the areas of Human Resources, workforce development, digital transformation, employee engagement and organisational capability building.

During his tenure as General Manager of BEL’s Kotdwar Unit, Mr. Ambrish Tripathi provided holistic leadership for the HR function, aligning people policies with organisational objectives, strategic frameworks and corporate directives. SCOPE & GIZ Germany organize outreach workshop on Climate Action Goals with MoEFCC and industrial exchange with BEL

NEW DELHI. As part of its green skilling efforts, Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), and GIZ, Germany organized an interactive Workshop with Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), on India and Sweden partnership to encourage industrial decarbonisation through LeadIT. The workshop was addressed by senior officials from MoEFCC, GIZ, BEL and Volvo and brought together 40 senior officials from various Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs). The Workshop also entailed industrial insight into net zero pathway of BEL and its sustainability and renewable energy initiatives while also reflecting on the technological pathways for decarbonization in transport sector by Volvo.

The technical sessions, led by MoEFCC and LeadIT Secretariat focused on industrial decarbonization pathways and technology interventions to help Indian PSEs accelerate their transition. A major highlight of the workshop comprised of Sustainability Exchange Visit at BEL, where participants explored real-world applications of renewable energy, resource optimization, and net-zero strategies including BEL’s rejuvenated Doddabommasandra Lake, showcasing a successful model of water conservation and biodiversity restoration.

L&T forms Strategic Partnership with BEL for India’s 5th-Generation Fighter Aircraft Programme

Bengaluru, September 24, 2025: Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has formed a strategic partnership with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) to support Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) programme of the Indian Air Force. The consortium will participate in the Expression of Interest notice issued by Government of India’s (GoI) Aeronautical Development Agency, by way of submitting a response in the coming weeks.

The partnership will leverage L&T’s expertise in developing strategic defence and aerospace platforms, along with BEL’s experience in defence electronics and systems, to jointly contribute to India’s 5^th-generation fighter aircraft.

The collaboration marks a significant milestone in advancing India’s defence capabilities in line with GoI’s vision for an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. By combining the strengths of the two leading defence technology providers, the partnership seeks to deliver a cutting-edge, high- quality solution.

In the past, L&T and BEL have played pivotal role in India’s indigenous Light Combat Aircraft programme by supplying major aero-structure modules and developing mission-critical avionics and electronic systems. Building on this legacy, the consortium will bring proven expertise and commitment to timely delivery of world-class defence and aerospace platforms for the Indian Air Force.
