										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><b>Bengaluru, July 7, 2025:</b> Jindal (India) Limited, part of the B.C. Jindal Group and one of India’s leading downstream steel product manufacturers, has received Letter of Approval (LoA), through its wholly owned subsidiary, Jindal India Steel Tech Limited (JISTL), for setting up a green-field steel manufacturing plant in Dhenkanal, Odisha. The company received the project approval during the High-Level Clearance Authority (HLCA) meeting, chaired by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi. Jindal (India) Limited’s JISTL plans to invest a total of Rs 15,000 crore in Odisha in three phases by 2030, with the current Rs 3,600 crore investment marking the first phase of the project.</p>
<p>As part of this strategic expansion, the company’s state-of-the-art facility will focus on manufacturing special coated steel products. The plant will feature coating facilities such as a Cold Rolling Mill (CRM) with a Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL) and a Colour Coating Line (CCL) for steel sheets with multiple high potential downstream products with total capacity of 9.6 lakh MT per annum, will also be manufactured. This phase will be commissioned by 2027. In parallel, JISTL will enhance the total capacity of the Odisha plant to 30 lakh MT per annum in the flat product division by 2030.</p>
<p>Speaking on the occasion, <b>a company spokesperson </b>said, <i>“This move aligns with our endeavor to support the Government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative and to contribute to India’s vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047. Along with enhancing the company’s domestic manufacturing capabilities, the green-field manufacturing plant will reduce reliance on imports and generate </i><i>employment opportunities in the state. The modern facility will also strengthen Jindal (India) Ltd.’s footprint in Odisha’s growing industrial sector.”</i><i> </i></p>
<p>Jindal (India) Limited, will also establish a steel pipe manufacturing facility that will have an estimated annual production capacity of 2 lakh MT per annum. The project marks Jindal (India) Limited’s strategic expansion in the Indian steel manufacturing sector, reiterating its commitment to industrial growth in the region.<i> </i></p>
<p><i>“In FY26, we plan to drive the company’s growth by focusing on our premium product offerings like colour-coated sheets. Looking ahead, we also plan to introduce high potential downstream products</i><i>.”,</i> the spokesperson added.</p>
<p>Jindal (India) Limited has two state-of-the-art factories located at Howrah, West Bengal and its capabilities include advanced colour coating, galvanizing, and galvalume technologies. The company offers a comprehensive range of products across three major divisions that include sheets, pipes, and aluminum foil. With strong brands like Jindal Sabrang and Jindal NeuColour+, Jindal (India) Limited dominates the colour-coated sheets market, particularly in Eastern India, and maintains a significant presence across the country. In FY25, the company had announced an investment of over Rs 1,500 crore to expand its steel production capacity, with completion targeted for FY26.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong><em>Sales Revenue Expected to Double to Rs 260 Crore from Crash Barrier Segment during FY25</em></strong></p>
<p><strong>Bengaluru, 12 February 2025:</strong> Jindal (India) Limited, part of prestigious B.C. Jindal Group and one of the leading downstream steel products manufacturers in India, has announced that it will expand its production capacity for Metal Beam Crash Barriers (MBCB) by 75 per cent from the current capacity of 6000 MT. which is scheduled to commence in FY25, with full completion expected by FY26. During FY25, the company has already bagged significant orders worth Rs 300 crore from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and the Indian Railways, so far.</p>
<p>In line with the Government of India’s ‘<em>Make in India’</em> initiative, Jindal (India) Limited makes high-quality range of products that include W beam, Thrie beam along with Post, Spacer, C post, Fish Tail, Accessories, Bull Nose, Horseshoe, to name a few. An approved manufacturer for NHAI, the company’s crash barriers are certified for crash test by NATRAX and exceed the stringent safety standards set for MBCB producers.</p>
<p><em>“At Jindal (India) Limited, we are committed to effectively catering to India’s evolving and growing infrastructure needs. We are growing by 20 per cent month-on-month and, soon, aim to be at 90 per cent capacity utilisation. In the next few quarters, we also forecast that our top-line from the crash barrier segment will double and contribute 8-10 per cent to our overall sales volumes from the current 4 per cent,”</em><strong> said a</strong> <strong>Jindal (India) Limited’s spokesperson.</strong><strong> </strong></p>
<p>In the Budget 2025, the introduction of a new National Manufacturing Mission coupled with the announcement of ministries identifying projects over a 3-year timeline for execution in PPP mode is poised to galvanize the infrastructure space. The Government has demonstrated a strong intent to move towards industry 4.0 by broad basing and deepening India’s manufacturing footprint while encouraging states to enhance capex spends through their Gross State Domestic Products (GSDPs).</p>
<p><em>“Jindal (India) Limited will also be aggressively looking to Increase its market share and expand footprint to the neighbouring countries like Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan for its Jindal Crash safe MBCBs,”</em> <strong>the spokesperson added.</strong></p>

As part of this association, the state-of-the art colour coating line will be installed at Jindal (India) Limited’s Ranihati Works. With a substantial enhancement in the annual production capacity of coated steel, this strategic move stands to significantly enhance Jindal (India) Limited’s presence in the expanding high-end steel market.</p>
<p>The advanced CCL will enable Jindal (India) Limited to produce high-quality coated steel. Enhancing its competitive edge in the domestic high-end steel market, the company, through this project, reiterates its ongoing commitment to expand its portfolio of high-value steel products for the construction and appliance sector.</p>
<p><em>‘’This investment by Jindal (India) Limited underscores its dedication to producing premium steel products while boosting efficiency and sustainability. <p>As part of the contract, John Cockerill India Limited will deliver complete colour coating line, including two pay-off reels, stitcher machine, a multi-stage cleaning section, a vertical entry accumulator, Tension leveller, chemical coating, drying and paint coaters with curing ovens with RTO, exit accumulator, an inspection station, a cold laminator, and two tension reels.</p>
<p>With the utilisation of latest technology, the CCL is equipped to handle a wide range of thickness and width of steel strips. It will be capable of producing a variety of coated products with Polyester, RMP, SMP, Epoxy, PVC, PU, PVDF and Teflon paint coating with high-speed continuous processing capabilities.</p>
