Uber launches free Shuttles for Delhi cricket matches

New Delhi, Apr 15, 2025 – Uber today announced the launch of its free Uber Shuttle Fan Bus in the National Capital for the upcoming cricket league games to be hosted at the Arun Jaitley Stadium starting Wednesday, April 16.

Uber has launched the service to provide cricket fans in Delhi NCR an easy and convenient transport option to the stadium. Uber has deployed a total of 5 fan buses covering routes along several parts of Delhi, along with neighbouring cities of Noida and Gurgaon. The buses will transport riders to and from the Arun Jaitley stadium on match days: April 16, April 27, April 29, and May 11.

Designed to complement public transportation and help fill existing transit gaps, Uber Shuttle is a safe, reliable and affordable way for people to get to and from the airport, an event venue, the office, and even around town.

Delhi Metro to extend its last train timing on all lines on IPL match days at Arun Jaitley Stadium

DELHI METRO TO EXTEND ITS LAST TRAIN TIMINGS ON ALL LINES TO FACILTATE SPECTATORS USING METRO FOR WATCHING T-20 CRICKET MATCHES OF INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE (IPL) AT DELHI’S ARUN JAITLEY STADIUM

To facilitate the spectators during the T-20 matches of Indian Premier League scheduled to be played on 13^th, 16^th, 27^th & 29^th April and 11^th May 2025 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Ferozshah Kotla Ground, New Delhi, the Delhi Metro has made changes in its last train timings on all Lines (including Airport Express Line). The stadium is adjacent to Delhi Gate/ITO Metro stations on the Violet Line i.e.Kashmere Gate to Raja Nahar Singh corridor (Violet Line).

In anticipation of the sudden rush expected at these nearby Metro stations after the match is over, the Delhi Metro will be performing 76 extra train trips on match day by extending its last train timings by about 01-02 Hours on all Lines. This will enable spectators to reach their destinations smoothly by using the Metro.
