Ardee Industries Limited has also reached a significant global milestone with the listing of its pure lead brand, “Ardee Lead 9997”, on the London Metal Exchange (LME), a global benchmark platform. LME has approved Ardee Lead 9997 as “good delivery” against its lead contract with effect from December 23, 2025, which reflects the Company’s adherence to stringent international standards relating to product quality, consistency, traceability and responsible production practices.

Ardee Industries Limited operates at the intersection of sustainability, resource security and industrial growth. Lead is among the most extensively recycled metals globally, capable of being re-melted numerous times without losing its properties. Over 80% of India’s lead demand is met through secondary (recycled) lead, largely derived from used lead-acid batteries (ULABs). India’s recycled lead production stood at approximately 1.26 million tonnes in FY 2025. The recycled lead ingot market in India was valued at around ₹28,800 crore in FY 2025, driven by applications in automotive batteries, inverters and UPS systems, telecom infrastructure, data centres, renewable energy storage and other industrial uses such as cable sheathing and pigments.

Ardee Industries operates a manufacturing facility spread across approximately 7.61 acres in Tirupati district, Andhra Pradesh. The facility is equipped with advanced rotary furnaces, refining kettles, casting machines and pollution control systems designed for efficient and environmentally responsible lead recycling. The company has significantly expanded its manufacturing capacity, increasing installed capacity from 54,750 MTPA in FY 2023 to 104,025 MTPA in FY 2025 through sustained investments in recycling infrastructure.

Beyond pure lead, the company manufactures customised lead alloys by combining lead with metals such as calcium, antimony, tin, silver and cadmium to meet diverse customer requirements across automotive and non-automotive sectors. As part of its forward-looking strategy, Ardee Industries plans to diversify further by converting plastic scrap generated during recycling into plastic granules and by expanding refining and recycling capabilities for tin and copper waste.

Ardee Lead 9997 is produced at the Company’s manufacturing facilities with an approved annual capacity of 104,025 MTPA as of March 31, 2025, supplying high-purity lead ingots that meet global delivery specifications. As of March 31, 2025, the Company served more than 50 customers and its product portfolio comprises of pure lead and lead alloys such as lead calcium alloys, lead antimony alloys, lead tin alloys, lead silver alloys and lead cadmium alloys which find applications in critical industries such as energy storage, e-mobility, automotive and chemicals.

The Company exported products to customers based in seven (7) countries including Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Japan and United States of America. The LME listing is expected to further accelerate sales growth by expanding Ardee Industries’ addressable market beyond India, allowing international customers to source its products against globally recognised benchmarks.

From a credibility standpoint, the dual presence on MCX and LME positions Ardee Industries as an institutionally acceptable supplier in both domestic and international markets.
