Large-Scale Formation of Cooperative Societies to Boost Rural Economy

In a significant push to strengthen India’s rural economy, over 35,000 new cooperative societies have been formed as part of the Centre’s efforts under White Revolution 2.0. Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah announced that, out of a target to establish two lakh multipurpose cooperative societies within five years, 35,395 have already been set up, including dairy, fisheries, and agricultural societies. Additionally, three new national-level cooperative bodies—NCOL, NCEL, and BBSSL—have been formed to promote organic farming, export of farmers’ produce, and seed conservation, ensuring better branding, fair prices, and access to global markets for farmers. The initiative also aims to increase milk procurement by 50%, with over 15,000 dairy cooperatives registered and MoUs signed to set up biogas plants, further empowering rural communities and supporting sustainable growth.

पटना। मॉरीशस के राष्ट्रपिता सर शिवसागर रामगुलाम की जयंती पर सोमवार को मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने स्पष्ट कहा कि केंद्र को पहले चुनाव कराने का अधिकार है। अगर केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने कहा है कि बिहार में जल्द चुनाव होंगे तो हमलोग भी तैयार हैं। हमलोग भी चाहते हैं कि जल्द से जल्द चुनाव हो। वे लोग तो पूरे देश में जल्द चुनाव कराना चाहते हैं। जितना जल्द चुनाव करा दें उतना अच्छा है। हमलोग तो इंतजार कर रहे हैं। हमलोग हर समय चुनाव के लिए तैयार हैं। भारत सरकार को अधिकार है कि संसद का चुनाव पहले भी करा सकती है।
मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार सर शिवसागर रामगुलाम की आदमकद प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण कर उन्हें भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित के बाद पत्रकारों से बात कर रहे थे। पटना के गांधी मैदान के दक्षिण तीनमुहाने पर स्थित सर शिवसागर रामगुलाम की आदमकद प्रतिमा के समीप उनकी जयंती के अवसर पर राजकीय समारोह का आयोजन किया गया था। कार्यक्रम के पश्चात् मुख्यमंत्री ने पत्रकारों से बातचीत की। संसद का विशेष सत्र आज से शुरू हो रहा है लेकिन एजेंडा पता नहीं चल रहा है, पत्रकारों के इस सवाल पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वे लोग क्या लाने जा रहे हैं, या क्या होगा ये तो बाद में पता चलेगा। केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने कहा है कि बिहार में चुनाव जल्द होगा, पत्रकारों के इस सवाल पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वे लोग तो पूरे देश में जल्द चुनाव कराना चाहते हैं। जितना जल्द चुनाव करा दें उतना अच्छा है। हमलोग तो इंतजार कर रहे हैं। हमलोग हर समय चुनाव के लिए तैयार हैं। भारत सरकार को अधिकार है कि संसद का चुनाव पहले भी करा सकती है।

चुनाव आयोग में नियुक्ति को लेकर जो बिल आ रहा है उसमें चीफ जस्टिस को हटाने की बात हो रही है और केंद्र का एक मंत्री रहेगा, इस पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जब सारी बात आएगी तो उसमें हर कोई अपनी बात रखेगा। अभी कुछ भी कहना जल्दबाजी होगी। जदयू और राजद का गठबंधन तेल और पानी के समान है, आपलोग कभी नहीं मिल सकते हैं, इस पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जो ऐसा कहते हैं उन्हें बता दीजिए कि यहां कितना विकास हुआ है। गांधी मैदान में बापू की कितनी अच्छी मूर्ति बनी है। शिव सागर रामगुलाम जी की मूर्ति बनी है, इनके लड़के भी यहां आए थे। पूरे बिहार का विकास देखिए। बिहार में कितनी अच्छी सड़कें बन गई हैं, पुल बना है। लोगों के हर घर तक नल का जल पहुंच गया। हर घर तक बिजली पहुंचा दी गई है और इसका संचालन बेहतर ढंग से हो रहा है। गरीब राज्य रहते हुए हमलोगों ने मेहनत करके बिहार में विकास का काम किया है।

बिहार के बारे में आज कुछ लोग उल्टा-सीधा बोलते हैं। हमलोग एक साथ हैं तो कुछ लोगों को बेचैनी हो रही है। हमलोग एक-एक चीज पर योजना बनाते हैं और फिर उसपर विकास का काम होता है। हर चीज का मेंटेनेंस समय पर होना चाहिए। आपलोगों की मजबूरी है। जितना काम हमलोग करते हैं उतना आपलोग प्रचार नहीं करते हैं। जब आपलोगों को मौजूदा केंद्र की सरकार से मुक्ति मिलेगी तो आपलोग आजाद होकर अपने मन का लिखिएगा। जो अच्छा लगेगा वो बोलिएगा। हम आपलोगों के पक्ष में हैं। यह आपलोगों का अधिकार है। जैसे लोगों को राजनीति करने का अधिकार है वैसे ही जितने पत्रकार हैं उनको भी अधिकार है जो देखते हैं उसको लिखने-बोलने का। उनको अपनी बात रखने का अधिकार है। उनलोगों ने सबलोगों को नियंत्रित कर लिया है। जब हम कॉलेज में पढ़ते थे उसी समय से आपलोगों से मेरा रिश्ता है। जब हमलोग लोकनायक जयप्रकाश नारायण जी के नेतृत्व में आंदोलन चलाए तो आपलोगों ने कितना साथ दिया था। आपलोग नये लोग हैं, हम चाहते हैं कि आपलोग खूब आगे बढ़िए लेकिन आपलोगों पर जबरदस्ती वे लोग कब्जा किए हुए हैं। मुंबई में ‘इंडिया’ गठबंधन की जो बैठक हुई उसमें 2500 से ज्यादा पत्रकार थे। जब हमने अपनी बात कही तो सारे लोग ताली बजाने लगे और पत्रकार खुश हो रहे थे। जब इनलोगों से मुक्ति मिल जाएगी तो पत्रकार लोग भी आजाद हो जाएंगे। भारतीय जनता पार्टी के लोग ‘इंडिया’ गठबंधन को कोई चुनौती नहीं मानते हैं। पत्रकारों के इस सवाल पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हम जनता के सेवक हैं। हम किसी को चुनौती नहीं देते हैं। हम जनता के बीच में सारी बात कहते हैं। जो अच्छा काम नहीं करेगा लोग उसके बारे में फैसला लेंगे। ‘इंडिया’ गठबंधन पूरी तरह एकजुट हैं, कोई दिक्कत नहीं है।

BRS Puts Up ‘Washing Powder Nirma’ Poster

The unpleasant welcome board featured morphed images of the Nirma girl with faces of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders like Himanta Biswa Sarma, Narayan Rane, Suvendu Adhikari, Sujana Chowdhary, Eshwarappa among others who joined the party from other parties.

The poster in Hyderabad attacking BJP come amid ongoing questioning of BRS MLC and CM K Chandrashekar Rao’s daughter K Kavitha in the Delhi liquor case.

BRS leaders put up a hoarding that read ‘Welcome Amit Shah’. The hoarding featured morphed images of the ‘Nirma girl’ with faces of BJP leaders who joined the BJP party from other parties.

The hoarding showed the faces of Himanta Biswa Sharma, Narayan Rane, Suvendu Adhikari, Sujana Chowdhary, Arjun Khotkar, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Eshwarappa, and Virupakshappa.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah had visited Hyderabad to attend the 54th CISF Raising Day parade.

Senior BJP leader and former MLC, N Ramchander Rao, speaking to ANI and reacting to the hoarding set up by BRS leaders, condemned the incidents.

“BRS leaders have developed a habit of displaying hoardings without naming themselves because they are afraid of action by law enforcement agencies. It has become a habit to display such hoardings, showing the BJP government and BJP party leaders in a bad light,” he said.

The BJP leader said that they did the same thing earlier when PM Modi visited Hyderabad during national executive meetings.

“Now when Amit Shah is on his official visit, the BRS leaders are trying to show a Nirma ad as if when someone joins BJP, they become clean. This type of hoarding with this type of message is given by the BRS leaders with public money. I am sure the public money is being spent on these hoardings,” he added.

Mr Rao said that lakhs and crores of rupees are being spent by BRS leaders on such hoardings to spread falsehood and hatred against the BJP and BJP leaders.

“We condemn such types of incidents. This is not a democracy, and it is a mockery of democracy. They are misusing freedom of speech and freedom of expression. BRS leaders, whatever they may say, everyone knows who is clean, how clean they are and who is at fault. Today, BRS cannot claim to be clean just because they are in the ruling party, and they have a lot of money with them such that they can buy special flights, buy helicopters, use chartered flights, destroy a number of phones and destroy a number of laptops. Whatever it may be, spending public money on huge hoardings is objectionable,” he added.

no talks likely today ,govt will send written proposal

Farmers’ agitation against the Centre’s three contentious farm laws entered day 14 on Wednesday amid indications the impasse between the government and farm unions will not end anytime soon. As protesting farmers continue to sit on the outskirts of Delhi, occupying various highways leading to the national capital.

“informal” talks between Union home minister Amit Shah and farmer leaders, which took place late Tuesday night, failed to break the deadlock.

the government will send a proposal to discuss which unions will hold a talk and then decide further action.

Farmer leader Hannan Mollah said the scheduled talk on Wednesday with Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Piyush Goyal will not be held.

Though Shah proposed another round of talks on December 10, unions said they would decide on it after going through the Centre’ proposal tomorrow.

Sources said 13 farmer leaders were called for the meeting, which began after 8 pm. The farmer leaders included eight from Punjab and five from various nationwide organisations.

“We will decide whether or not to go for the meeting tomorrow at 12 noon at Singhu border, said AIKS leader and CPI(M) Polit Bureau member Hannan Mollah after meeting Amit Shah.

“The minister said they will give their proposals on amendments tomorrow…They are not ready for rolling back the laws,” Mollah added.

“We told them we have been discussing the same thing for the past five meetings. They should have given proposals six months back. Maybe there would have been discussions then. Since they are not ready to retreat, it seems improbable that we will attend the meeting,” he said.

Some farmer leaders said they first expected the meeting would take place at Shah’s residence here but the venue was shifted to National Agricultural Science Complex, Pusa.

Apparently, Shah said the government was ready give written assurance on issues related to stubble burning, MSP, the APMC, stock limits and, Power Act.

“There were indications on amendments but the government is not ready to roll back the laws. The issue will continue for long…we are getting more support for our cause,” Darshan Pal said.

Arnab Goswami Arrested

Arnab Goswami Arrested

The Maharashtra Police on Wednesday arrested Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami house in connection with the suicide of interior designer Anvay Naik and his mother Kumud Naik in Alibaug in 2018.

Republic TV in its report claimed that Goswami was “assaulted and dragged” during the arrest. Goswami reportedly said that Mumbai Police also physically assaulted his mother-in-law and father-in-law, son and wife.

Meanwhile Several Union Ministers are among those who have condemned the arrest as a reminder of the Emergency.

“Congress and its allies have shamed democracy once again. Blatant misuse of state power against Republic TV and Arnab Goswami is an attack on individual freedom and the 4th pillar of democracy. It reminds us of the Emergency. This attack on free press must be and WILL BE OPPOSED,” tweeted Home Minister Amit Shah as reports emerged of Arnab Goswami’s arrest.

“We condemn the attack on press freedom in Maharashtra. This is not the way to treat the Press. This reminds us of the emergency days when the press was treated like this,” posted Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar.

Naik, a 53-year-old interior designer, and his mother Kumud Naik had died by suicide in May 2018. A suicide note purportedly written by Naik claimed that Goswami and two others owed him Rs 5.4 crore and had refused to pay it back, forcing him to take the extreme step.

The monetary transaction had taken place during the construction of Republic TV studio. When Naik’s mother learned about Naik’s death, she too killed herself.

The Alibaug police had registered a case of abetment to suicide the same month but the case was reportedly closed by the Raigad police in 2019.

But in May this year the Maharashtra government ordered a fresh investigation into the case against Goswami and two others by the state Criminal Investigation Department.

Kangana seeks Sonia Gandhi to intervene

Now actor kangana Ranaut requested congress president Sonia Gandhi to intervene and seek help in ongoing fight with Maharashtra govt .

Kangana said in a tweet, “Dear respected honourable @INCIndia president Sonia Gandhi Ji being a woman aren’t you anguished by the treatment I am given by your government in Maharashtra? Can you not request your government to uphold the principles of the Constitution given to us by Dr Ambedkar?”

She went on to add, “You have grown up in the west and lived here in India. You may be aware of the struggles of women. History will judge your silence and indifference when your own Government is harassing women and ensuring a total mockery of law and order. I hope you will intervene.”

This comes a day after Kangana took to her handle to slam Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray for allegedly carrying out vendetta politics and carrying out a demolition drive at her Mumbai office.
Yesterday in a tweet she said that, as a symbolic gesture, she will not renovate the portions of her office that were demolished on Wednesday by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. The BMC carried out the demolition based on alleged structural violations.

Meanwhile Kanganas mother ASHA RANAUT has thanked Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for providing Y-plus category security to her daughter even as her tussle with Shiv Sena leaders escalates. Asha added that the gesture has made her a BJP supporter now.

Asha Ranaut said : “The blessings of the entire country are with Kangana. I am proud that my daughter has always stood for the truth. I thank Union Home Minister Amit Shah. We are not even associated with that party (BJP), we were from the Congress. My grandfather-in-law was a member of the Congress party. Even though they (BJP) knew that we were from the Congress from the beginning, they supported us.”

Amit Shah discharged from AIIMS

Union Home Minister Amit Sha was discharged today. The Minister was admitted to AIIMS on August 18 for post-COVID care.

On Saturday, AIIMS had said Amit Shah has recovered and is likely to be discharged in a short time. “Sh. Amit Shah, Hon’ble Home Minister is admitted to AIIMS, New Delhi for post COVID care. He has recovered and is likely to be discharged in a short time,” said the hospital release.

On August 2, the 55-year-old had taken to Twitter to announce that he had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He had undergone treatment for the coronavirus infection at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram and was discharged after he tested negative for the disease on August 14.

Amit Shah also greeted people on the occasion of Onam, hoping that the festival would bring harmony, good health and prosperity. “Warm greetings on the auspicious occasion of Onam. May this festival bring joy, harmony, good health and prosperity in everyone’s lives. Happy Onam!” Shah tweeted.

Home Minister Amit Shah was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) in New Delhi complaining of fatigue and body aches for the last 3-4 days. He has recently recovered fron covid infection and was on rest.

The union minister has been complaining of fatigue and body aches for the last 3-4 days, said the hospital in a press release on August 18. He has been admitted to AIIMS for post-COVID care, the hospital said.

According to the press release, “he is comfortable and is continuing his work from hospital.”

He tweeted saying, “On getting the initial symptoms of coronavirus, I got the test done and the report came back positive. My health is fine, but I am being admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors. I request that all of you who have come in contact with me in the last few days, please isolate yourself and get your inquiry done.”

“Today my corona test report has come negative. I thank God and also express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who blessed me and my family by wishing me well during this period. Will stay in home isolation for a few more days on the advice of doctors,” Shah had tweeted.

Amit Shah Tests Positive

Home Minister Amit Shah has tested positive for coronavirus and he has been admitted to Medanta hospital.

In a tweet, the minister said his health was “fine” but he was being hospitalised “on the advice of doctors”. He also requested that all those “who have come in contact with me in the last few days, please isolate yourself and get your inquiry done”.

Sources said extensive contact tracing will be carried out and anyone who came in contact with the minister will have to self-isolate.

Meanwhile Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday and has been admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru.

“I have tested positive for coronavirus. Whilst I am fine, I am being hospitalised as a precaution on the recommendation of doctors. I request those who have come in contact with me recently to be observant and exercise self quarantine,” Yediyurappa announced on Twitter. His daughter, B Y Padmavati, has also tested positive for the disease, and has been admitted to Manipal Hospital.

Mr Shah, 55, had taken part in a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, which was attended by all top ministers, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, defence minister Rajnath Singh, and finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman. All safety norms, including social distancing, were followed at the crucial meet, where the National Education Policy was approved.

SHAH : Delhi has not reached community transmission

Union Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah has said that “Modi Government is handling the Covid situation very appropriately and the situation in Delhi is under control”. In an interview to a news agency, Shri Amit Shah said “there is no community spread in Delhi and there is no reason to worry”.

Union Home Minister said “Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Shri Manish Sisodia, in a statement made during the second week of June, had said that the situation in Delhi is bad and that by the end of July the Covid infected population in capital Delhi would rise to 5.5 lakh, causing anxiety among the residents”. Shri Amit Shah said “normally it is the responsibility of the Delhi Government to take necessary steps to tackle the Covid situation, but Government of India stepped in to coordinate the efforts after the comments made by Deputy CM”.

Considering the gravity of the situation, Shri Amit Shah said “he convened a coordination meeting on 14th June so that Central Government could help the Delhi Government in tackling the situation. Due to more testing now, there is a jump in the infection rate, but on the flip side there is an advantage that those who have been tested and found positive will be kept in isolation, which will help in checking the spread of infection”.

Union Home Minister said “he visited LNJP Hospital, to give a boost to the morale of the health workers and create confidence among the people. Interaction with doctors over their difficulties helped in providing inputs for future strategies”.

Shri Amit Shah said “there are 30,000 beds available today compared to 9,937 beds as on 14th June. As a result, we are in a much better situation today as against the situation that prevailed in the beginning of June”. Union Home Minister said “House-to-house survey in all Containment Zones in Delhi will be completed by 30th June. Besides, serological survey has also been started”. Shri Amit Shah said “Efforts have been launched in collaboration with Delhi Government and MCD to check the spread of Coronavirus before infection. Reiterating that Delhi has not yet reached the stage of Community Transmission, he said testing is being scaled up, there is no need to panic”.

Delhi Government had announced a ban on treatment of outside patients in hospitals run by the Delhi Government. Shri Amit Shah said “Delhi being the national capital, people from different states come here for treatment. Central Government overturned this decision to make sure that the rightful treatment is given to everyone”, the Union Home Minister said.
