In an interaction with Indian Express, he said, ” I don’t think Hindi can be called just the national language. India has one language, which is entertainment. It doesn’t matter which industry you belong to. If you entertain people, they will love you, honour you and accept you”. He further added, ” Gone are days when people used to say ‘leave your mind behind. They won’t leave their mind behind and shell out thousands of rupees on an average film. Tabassum Fatima Hashmi is celebrating her 50th birthday today. The actress, who has worked in acclaimed films like Andhadhun, Maachis and Virasat, among many others, got a cute birthday wish from her dear friend, Farah Khan. The filmmaker-choreographer shared an old photo of the two of them and penned a heartfelt note.

Farah Khan has worked with Tabu in a number of films like Virasat and Hum Saath Saath Hain, among others. In her birthday post for Tabu, Farah wrote that they have been friends for 25 years. She wrote, “Hum Saath Saath Hain! The first time I met her in 1995 at the shooting of Viraasat, and it was as if we were old friends who knew each other since childhood..and it’s been exactly like that 25 yrs later.. Happy birthday my tabdi.. @tabutiful I love you and I always let u go coz I know ul always cm back #syaaaliiiii (sic)

She is now active on OTT platform and seen in suitable boy series making love with young ESHAN KHATTAR . on films  she was last seen in a cameo in Jawaani Jaaneman opposite Saif Ali Khan. Alaya F made her debut with the film. Tabu was shooting for Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which stars Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in lead roles. On the other hand, Farah is working on her next film, which is said to be the remake of the 1982 film Satte Pe Satta, which starred Amitabh Bachchan. Rohit Shetty is the producer of the film.

Tabu had once revealed that Ajay, along with her cousin Sameer Arya, was protective of her and would threaten to beat up any boys who tried to approach her. Talking about growing up with him, she had told Hindustan Times in an interview, “Ajay and I go a really, really long way back, from the time we were 13 or 14. He is my brother’s childhood friend and because we all grew up together in a locality in Juhu, he was always a part of the whole boys’ gang while we were just giggling girls, hanging around and trying to get some attention.

T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar has also confirmed the script for Raid 2 is currently being developed. Co-producer Shushan told the daily, “It will be a huge multi-film franchise and Ajay ji and I, along with Kumar Mangat ji, are looking to take Raid forward. The script of Part 2 is being developed. Since the original was a much loved film, the sequel is a huge responsibility. After the super success of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, there’s a lot of pressure on this collaboration to live up to the expectation.”

Raid starred Ileana D’Cruz as Ajay’s onscreen wife while Saurabh Shukla played the role of a corrupt politician referred as Tauji. The film was appreciated by the critics. It was based on the longest raid in the 80s with Ajay playing the central role.

Meanwhile, Ajay is basking in the success of his 100th film, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. The actor had co-produced the film which also featured Kajol as his onscreen wife Savitribai Malusare and had Saif Ali Khan in the role of the lead antagonist, Uday Bhan. The film went on to become the year’s biggest blockbuster with collection of Rs 279 crore at the domestic box office.

Ajay has a big lineup of films in the next two years. He will be seen in Bhuj: The Pride of India, Indra Kumar’s Thank God, Kaithi remake and Neeraj Pandey’s Chanakya.

Good Newwz is a screwball comedy about two couples who experience a mix-up at a fertility clinic, after their sperm is exchanged. While Akshay and Kareena play the sophisticated Batras, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh play the louder Batras.

The film has made Rs 190 crore in India, after 18 days of release. It marked Akshay Kumar’s fourth film of the year to hit the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office, following Kesari, Mission Mangal and Housefull 4. The actor will next be seen in the action thriller Sooryavanshi, which is the latest instalment in director Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, whose previous instalments include the two Singham films and Simmba. After that, Akshay will appear in the horror comedy Laxxmi Bomb and then in Prithviraj.

Good Newwz received positive reviews from critics as well, who praised the mix of humour and emotions. Thanking fans for the positive reception, Akshay said in a statement, “We are extremely overwhelmed with the response coming in for Good Newwz as it’s a subject which had to be shared with the audience. It’s an important subject and I thank the viewers not only in India but also overseas that they have accepted us with open hearts. With this film, I am confident that a movie with good messaging and subject will always fetch success and appreciation.”

The film will likely experience a drop, thanks to two new films taking over the majority of screens. On Friday, Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak were released.

The actor died in his sleep at his residence due to multiple organ failure. “He passed away today at 6.55 am peacefully in his sleep at the residence. He has been unwell for quite some time. He had multiple organ failure,” actor Bhavana Balsavar, his niece said.

Actor Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter to pay tribute to the actor. “RIP. Viju Khote. Dear friend over the years. Though much elder,we used to bike together along with sister Shobha Khote ji,when I was young. Passionate and well informed about American films. We will miss you” Viju kutte aahe?,” he wrote in his tweet. Ajay Devgn wrote, “Actors like Viju Khote were institutions by themselves. Their large body of work will always be remembered. I’m fortunate to have worked with him on quite a few films. RIP Sir My heartfelt condolences to the family.”
