Mr Bachchan, who loves to blog on social media, also shared a few thoughts on the “essence” of age-old traditions, such as raksha bandhan: “Our ‘samaaj’ does possess centuries old traditions that make us all valuable… in the essence of behavioural convictions such convictions that can never be betrayed or dissolved… they are the crafted genius of writings on stone… forever.”

On Sunday evening, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted: “Back home,” after over three weeks of being in the hospital. Big B revealed he’s currently in self isolation at home. Abhishek Bachchan, who was also admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital the same day as Big B, continues to remain there as he still has the coronavirus. “I, unfortunately due to some co-morbidities, remain COVID-19 positive and remain in hospital,” he tweeted.

I have tested CoVid- have been discharged. I am back home in solitary quarantine.

Expressing his thoughts in his blog Amitabh wrote, “… they go home the little one and Bahurani .. and the tears flow out .. the little one embraces and tells me not to cry ..’you’ll be home soon’ she assures .. I must believe her.”

The 77-year-old went on to talk about how he constantly thinks of documenting his thoughts and added, “let them hear see and read the other side of the coin.”

Amitabh has also written a note to the anonymous trolls who have been wishing his ill health. Sharing one such instance, he wrote, “they write to tell me … “I hope you die with this Covid.”

In an open letter to all such trolls, he wrote, “Hey Mr Anonymous .. you do not even write your Father’s name ,.. because you do not know who Fathered you .. there are only two things that can happen .. either I shall die or either I shall live .. if I die you wont get to write your diatribe anymore, by weathering your remark on a celebrity name .. pity .. for , the reason of your writing to be noticed was, because you took a swipe at Amitabh Bachchan .. that shall no longer exist .. !!”

Talking about the force of his fans, he added, “if by God’s grace I live and survive you shall have to be ‘weathering’ the ‘swipe’ storm , not just from me , but on a very conservative level, from 90+ million followers .. I have yet to tell them to .. but if I survive I shall .. and let me tell you they are a force incensed .. they traverse the entire World .. from the West to the East from the North to the South .. and they are not just the Ef of this page .. that extended family shall in the flash of an eye become ‘extermination family’ .. !!!!.. all I shall say to them is .. ‘Thok do s***o ko’.He ended the note with, “May you burn in your own stew !!”

Amitabh and Abhishek will continue to recuperate at the Nanavati hospital while Aishwarya and Aaradhya are back home. Abhishek had informed on Twitter on Monday, “Thank you all for your continued prayers and good wishes. Indebted forever. Aishwarya and Aaradhya have thankfully tested negative and have been discharged from the hospital. They will now be at home. My father and I remain in hospital under the care of the medical staff.”

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan and his actor-son Abhishek are recuperating in an isolation ward in the same hospital. On Saturday, Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for coronavirus and was admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital with mild symptoms.

The actor took to Twitter to share the news with his fans. He wrote, “I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!”

Earlier, informing everyone about Aishwarya and Aaradhya being coronavirus positive, Abhishek Bachchan had tweeted, “Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful.The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers”.

Amitabh also shared a note for healthcare workers on his social media handles on Tuesday. The actor tweeted: “Pristine white their layered dress, dedicated to serve they be, god like incarnations they, companions of the sufferer they, erased they their ego have, to us they have embraced in care, they be the divine destination, they fly the flags of humanity.” Amitabh Bachchan along with his actor son Abhishek Bachchan, tested positive for the coronavirus on Saturday and they were hospitalised. Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan got married in the year 1973 after the release of Zanjeer, in which they co-starred. The couple welcomed their first child Shweta in 1974 and Abhishek in 1976. Shweta is married to businessman Nikhil Nanda and they are parents to daughter Navya Naveli and son Agastya. Abhishek Bachchan is married to actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Their daughter Aaradhya was born in 2011.
